I have a T-Mo Note 4 and after updating to Jellybean about month and half ago, my phone randomly started rebooting and sometimes being stuck in the reboot loop. If I take the battery out and put it back in, it would get out of the loop sometimes. I noticed it happens when phone is looking for GPS signal or if an app freezes. I've tried wiping cache partition previously as well as doing factory reset and phone would still keep restarting at random times. I got the phone replaced by T-Mobile under the warranty and few weeks later, same thing happened.
Is there a fix for this? Phone is stock and not rooted.

I've had this phone for about 6 months, no serious issues other than some battery life issues that were fixed with a factory reset a few weeks back. Since that factory reset everything has been great. But yesterday my phone started rebooting randomly from every few minutes to about 2 hours in between reboots is the longest it's gone since it started. I am running stock rom and launcher, rooted. Also still on 4.2.2 and not 4.4 because it won't let me update since I am rooted. I couldn't figure it out so I factory reset again tonight. After factory reset it is still rebooting randomly. I have only installed about 10 apps since reset, nothing I didn't have before the problems started. It doesn't restart only when in a certain app. Has restarted multiple times when I'm just on the home screen.
Any ideas of where to start looking to try to figure this out?
I also experienced some reboots but all is working perfectly now, I don't know why.
It may be related to one of your apps? For instance, I have read elsewhere that facebook beta version caused reboots, do you have it installed? Maybe you should uninstall all or some of your apps, and try to find the guilty one?
I will try uninstalling apps, but I don't have any apps now that I did not have before the problems started.

Hi, my phone has been turning off itself a few times a day since last week. I have flashed factory image, wiped everything and hadn't install any apps. Unfortunately the phone is still rebooting. The kmsg from reboot is there. Any thoughts why is it turning off itself?
Good day everyone.
I lost my cellphone, so I started using this Nexus 4 that my brother had left, I factory reset it, then started using it, an update came up, around 18MB i guess?
anyways, it worked great for the first 2 weeks, then due to low battery, got turned off, I turned it on and it got stuck at the Boot, restarted a few times and it worked.
same thing happened again, until it started getting stuck at bootloop.
tried factory reset through recovery, it worked once, but then again, once I restarted the phone, it'd be bootlooping.
so I tried flashing the Phone, to 5.0 from 5.1, thinking, it'd solve the issue but it didn't.
Now, the cellphone, is i guess, bricked or something? I'm new to all these.
any solutions?
TL;DR
Flashed Nexus 4 - Stops at Bootloop, no matter I try to factoy reset it, or flash it or anything.
is there any chance it'd be fixed or is the phone done?
Maybe you guys can help with me this one...
For the past week or so my s6 would randomly freeze and reboot. I originally thought the facebook messenger app was causing this but the reboots persisted after I uninstalled the app.
It eventually got so bad that the phone would freeze on boot and the phone wouldn't start. I then tried the following:
Wiping the cache - problems persisted
Factory reset - problems persisted
Flashing firmware through odin - problems persisted
Afterwards I took it to a Samsung support centre for repair, I got the phone back and they told me they had reflashed the firmware and tested it for an hour and it was working ok.
I could see the phone was working but didn't play about with it much until I got home and reset the data on the phone so I could set all my accounts up.
You can guess what happened next... the phone kept on freezing and rebooting at optimising apps, sometimes freezing at the samsung logo when it rebooted. Eventually the phone got to the welcome screen and I managed to set up the wifi details.. then another freeze and reboot!
Before I make the journey back to the repair centre is there anything else I can try?
Thanks in advance
Hello, my galaxy started to freeze and crash 2 months ago. At first i didn't mind it because it just happens once in a while. But 3 weeks ago, the freeze and crash became more frequent up to a point that even though i'm not doing anything to the phone, it just freeze then restarts. I researched the web and found some solutions, first i've tried to reset to factory settings. i used the wipe data/factory reset in recovery mode. it said the reset is successful then i've restarted the phone and i just loops on the samsung black screen or just crashes during the welcome screen. Then i tried to reinstall the firmware using odin. first i used the 4.4.4 tar (from this forum), the odin said the flash is okay, but when the phone starts up, it just loops on the samsung black screen or just crashes during the welcome screen. so i tried using the downgrade to 4.4.2 tar (from this forum), after successfully flashing it, my phone started to boot. but after i completed the first time process and i'm updating/downloading apps, it started to freeze and crash again, this became a frequent thing again. it just freeze and crashes anytime. i've tried reflashing the 4.4.2 again using a different cord and port, but the same thing still happens. Do you guys know if there is still some way to solve this?
Note: I've got this phone from my father when i visited him in the USA (last June 2015), then when i went home (in the Philippines), i didn't unlock the phone so i it didn't have any sim card since then. is this a factor in the phone's behavior?
Thank you
Up.. hopes someone can help me with this
Update: I've tried using another battery and the situation is still the same.
