Just have each of them record their prints when it asks you to raise and lower your finger when setting up the one print. My girlfriend did this by accident on her iPhone and now it'll unlock with either her thumb or forefinger.
stupid thread is stupid.
And just how do you accidentally let 3 other people record their prints on your phone? It's really more of a demonstration of how accurate the device is at referencing stored prints.
When I'm recording finger print
I let them put their fingers just 1 time
And when I'm finish recording i let them put their finger to open my phone
Annnd my phone unlocked!!!!
You can use 80 different fingers print(80 person) to open your phone
This is not so much "cheating" as having the ability to add many more fingerprints than we thought. So if you find 4 fingerprints too limiting, now you know how you can add more!

I was messing around with a synth progrm last night and found something weird, so I decided to confirm it in a few multitouch testing apps. This is really bizzare and I'm wondering if it's a bug - I'm going to try to make a video when my other computer is up and runing but for now I'll try to describe it:
-With your testing program of choice open, place your finger anywhere on the screen. hold it completely still; not allowing it to shift even 1 pixel (the X/Y coordinates at the top shouldn't change if you're using multitouch visual test)
-Tap anywhere else on the screen without removing or moving finger 1. The finger-up event of finger 2 will not be detected until finger 1 moves.
I've been able to confirm this on my device up to 5 touches - i.e. I've had 4 fingers stationary on the screen and tapped with a 5th, and the 5th one stays "finger-down" until the position of any of the other 4 changes.
I've tested in "multitouch visual test" by battery powered games, llc and "multitouch test" by greenrobot, both available in the market for free.
Bump... Seriously? Like 50 views and nobody will test this?

Please provide testing program name to download. Edit-just noticed you put "Multitouch visual Test". Ignore this request.
Please provide expected results per Samsung specifications.
All I know is we have pinch to zoom but that's about it. I don't know how to test all the stuff you've posted up there but am willing to do so.
FWIW-Pinch to zoom works fine for me.
Final edit:
I tested this with that application. I put one finger down and it registered. I put another down and it registered. I pulled one up and it registered that it was no longer there. I put five down, registered them all and it showed that each one was lifted as I lifted it.
I think that's what you meant.

It is what I meant... sort of. The thing is, if finger 1 moves even one pixel, it kills the experiment. The experiment I did was keeping finger 1 perfectly still (the X/Y coordinates were not shifting at all; I did it in a corner 'cuz it was easiest). THEN tried the tap. As soon as I get my replacement AC adapter for my comp. with webcam, I'll post video. It's quite trippy.
I tried it with YAMTT and got the same results. I wonder if it's how the program is working, or an issue with the phone. I don't think this is a problem though, because it's difficult to hold your finger still ad not move 11 pixel.

Finally! I'm not crazy! Agreed it's probably not going to be a gigantic issue, but it's not how I would expect multitouch to work.
I can also duplicate this. Unusual, and I don't think it should cause any problems, however one would think it would behave differently.
who cares??
Has anyone implemented pattern unlock on the KF yet?
I thought perhaps Widgetlocker had that capability, but when I looked on my Dinc which already has it, there did not appear to be any settings for it.
Using a pattern is a lot easier then a pin code.
If it matters, I'm rooted.
^bump ditto question
Oh, God I hope nobody does this.
Then the place will be flooded with new threads "OMG FORGOT UNLOCK PATTERN AND I HAVE KEYS TO UNIVERSE STORED ON KINDLE FIRE"
Well, to bypass, would just need to "change the gravitational constant of the universe" to reenable root access.
This post brought to you by the letter Q continum.
^bump
really think pattern unlock needed. widgetlocker keeps crashing (and it isn't pattern recognition).
App Protector Pro
I was also wondering the same thing. I went tot he market to see if there was something. The only thing that came close was this called App protector pro, while it doesn't provide a lock pattern for your screen, it does provide it for any app. All my apps that have sensitive data or files that I don't want prying eyes to see, I lock with the App protector. It makes it so that a pattern lock needs to be done before launching the app. I just downloaded it and it rocks, plus it's on $1.50, it won't dent your wallet.
They also have a free version, but as you can imagine, it is add heavy. I wen't ahead and purchased the pro.
It might not be exactly what we are looking for, but if privacy and security is something you are concerned about, I definitely recommend it for the time being.
Less privacy/security issues and more of keeping the sticky fingers of an eight year old off of it until I'm ready to let him on.
Especially since smudgey fingers can give away pattern locks unless a person is real careful.

Very true.
Have you tried just using the regular lock-screen password with the numbers? I had it on mine, but I just didn't like it.
Perhaps it'll work for the time being, to keep your 8 year old away from it.
Yes, have been using lockscreen with keyboard... poor sensitivity, have to keep reentering due to big finger complex when I'd rather go swish swish swish.
I saw a youtube-clip where a guy demonstrated that u could use a pen (or other objects) to control the screen. Was going to try this in a meeting today, but the function seems to be deactivated. I have browsed through the settings and can't find the option to active this.
I have tried the setting enabling the use of phone with a glow, but it wont recognize any of my pens.
Anyone know?

Any chance of a link of the YouTube clip to see? I'm pretty sure those pens would've been a capacitive type for it to work on the screen. There are even some that look like a ball point pen, but is actually capacitive.

This is one of them:

Under display settings all the way dow youll see a box for high touch sensitivity. Maybe that one will make it work
I have tested some more now and it seems to be able to recognize objects of metal. Dont understand how the guy could control it with a bottle then

Wow! I stand corrected and humbled! He definitely mentioned "conductive", but all the objects he used were everyday objects! I even tried with a pen and it worked! Didn't even have to enable the extra sensitive function. Gonna get a milk bottle next to try, haha!
Are you using any screen protectors (film or glass)?
I know on mine, it's a matte finish, but they say that gloves and capacitive pens would still work.
So I was messing around with the fingerprint scanner and found that if I use multiple fingers in one ID, I can unlock the phone with not just five fingers but 12 fingers per ID. And with five IDs you get 60 fingers. Is this really possible? Can others verify this? Isn't this a loophole? And should this be possible?
Thanks in advance.
Using Moto G⁴ Plus, 16GB.
It is possible and correct. If you add five users to the phone, they all need to be able to access that phone...
As for the number of "fingers" that's irrelevant. Each "finger" consists of multiple snapshots of one finger anyway. I am using left and right thumbs for example. But some might want to have all 10 fingers with the most used ones taken twice for better resolution. So, yes, 12 is conceivable that would be useful for some.
If you worry about that, just don't add the users.
What I'm trying to say is that a "finger" may not necessarily be multiple shots of a single finger. The scanner takes about 12 shots for each "finger" and the user can place 12 fingers in one "finger" thereby increasing the number of fingers that can actually unlock the phone. I must have mislead you when I said ID. I meant to say a "finger" when I said ID.
as i am barred from posting in the original thread, here my bug list, if anyone can help out, it would be perfect!
-phone crashes sometimes, if i remove the headphones
-battery drains quicker
-ril and fingerprint are unstable.
apart fro mthis, the rom is really cool, even the display seems more saturated than with flyme, which is really really like. thanks faust!
For fingerprint, try to register the exact part that you try to tap it in the first time and use it exactly where you land it. It work for me.
Afaik, the meizu sensor is a low res one, it does not fit Google requirement.
Sometimes I have a discard of the sim and in have to reboot the phone

i tried to take the same finger twice, and it works after pressing it roughly 20 times.
but i wonder, flyme os does better recognition, so it means the underlying software is better?
what kind of library crdroid is using and where can i find the sources?
Main issue I'm having with this ROM is that videos seems to zoom in automatically, in Youtube or other apps.
Not sure how to fix it!
fingerprint sensor
I used these instructions: https://forum.xda-developers.com/me...-fingerprint-improvement-crdroid-7-1-t3504948
I can't post to linked topic
yes, it works, but I afraid it is not secure, because i scanned one finger and i can log in with any of my fingers.
I haven''t try to log in using finger of somebody else, but I think, it may be possible
EDIT: I just installed FPv2.zip, it works better, using 1 scanned fingerprint, I can open phone with 5 fingers of 10, 2 of them left hand and 3 right hand (1 scanned) fingers.
sorry my bad english

thanks for the info,
that doesnt sound that well.
i wonder if we can have sourcecode and/or use the original meizu libraries?..
it seems that the headphone-jacket-restart-bug is fixed with the latest version.
but now the camera does at times stall and it needs a warm restart to be able to use it again.
Hi guys !
I'm a little late but I would like to install this rom.
I'm following this tutorial (https://www.getdroidtips.com/crdroid-os-meizu-pro-5/) but the link is broken (http://xep.8800.org/pro5/nougat/) and I can't find the cdDroid rom. Can you help me?
Thanks a lot!
