I'm fairly new the Nexus Player. In fact I just got mine today. So far I'm really liking it. However I recently updated to Android Lollipop 5.1.1 and have noticed scrolling issues. Seems like every time I scroll through the Google Play store or Google Movies and TV app about every five or so tiles it'll skip back three. It's very irritating. Not sure if it's a bug or not. Anybody else notice this and if so how did you go about fixing it ?
Edit: NVM after further reading of posts on this topic this seem to indeed be a weird glitch/bug reportedly for anyone using android lollipop 5.0 and above that hasn't been fixed by Google as of yet

I noticed the text size is uneven on forums while I am using chrome on nexus 4. The AOSP browser doesn't have the same problem, nor does chrome on my nexus 7.2.
Chrome is downloaded from google play.
Does anyone know what causes it or how I can fix it?
I noticed this as well, I've searched online but haven't been able to find a solution. Hopefully Google fixes it one day cause it's been a problem for a long time now.

It's pretty much been an issue since Chrome came out for Android (and yes, I've seen it mostly on phones).
Annoys the heck out of me, and I did submit feedback about it but heard nothing

I guess this is a feature, not a bug It's supposed to zoom only the main content part of a page to save you from zooming in manually. Obviously it's not always accurate.
Guys I've observed stuttering while scrolling in play store on almost every ROM I tried multiple ROMs including TW, CM12 and GPE and I certainly think that it's not the ROM but the play store itself because I see same stuttering on my stock nexus 4 and 10 as well. I'm seeing the issue just recently from past 2-3 weeks. Initially I thought it's the ROM but it's there on almost every ROM I tried. You just need to scroll on the play store home page to experience the issue I'm referring. The scrolling isn't smooth as or used to be. Similar issue is there in Google+ as well.
Is anyone else suffering from same issue and if yes, do you have any solution to suggest? Thanks in advance.

Since the last update to the Google photos app on both mine and my wife's Nexus 10 both running lollipop 5.1.1, videos stutter as if its missing frames or don't show any image at all just sound. It all works fine on my Nexus 5 so must be specific to the Nexus 10. Has anyone else noticed this and found a solution?

Have the same problem.
Went to App-Info and uninstalled updates.
Is this the only solution for now?
Yes. I have just received another update to the photos app but its still the same. Let's hope Google fix it soon.

Bad thing is I have this issue on nexus 6. It definitely needs a fix!
I have the same issue. But what's interesting here is that unlike the first post's writer told I have it on nexus 5 running android 5.1.1. Currently using MX player and videos work just fine.
Hmmm. Also Nexus 6 here.
I have the same problem on my Nexus 6. I though it started when I uninstalled a previous update to Camera/Photos last month sometime. Every video I playback through Photos stutters, but at least through Camera I can change the default video player. Wish I could do the same for Photos. Also, just notice a generally lag on my Nexus 6 recently...
I hate wiping and starting fresh, but I just may have to.
The bug is still here. Version 1.30 on Nexus 6. Damned mumbai programmers...
The stuttering is still here on v. 1.4.0.102264174 on Nexus 6 running android 5.1.1_r12. However, the issue can be fixed by going to developer settings and switching from NuPlayer to AwesomePlayer in Media settings.

Wow, thanks Kariharri! That works!
I've been using poweramp for as long as I can remember now, but ever since installing it on my 6P I've noticed there is some serious lag when "next" to change a song. Was wondering if anyone else that's using poweramp on their 6P experiencing the same thing and if you have found a fix or the reason why.
Thanks.
no issues here, running Pure Nexus with elmentalx kernel
I've been using them as well for quite sometime as well. However I have noticed this issue since the last few updates -_-. I have noticed this primarily on my Note 4. The delay in changing songs doesn't always move fast, once it finally changes to the next track, if you hit next again and again it moves fast like it normally would. l haven't noticed this on my nexus though, but I know exactly what you are describing

I have been using Android N preview 3 since it was released. It seems sometimes that my Nexus 6p will slowdown and lag. As well as random reboot. It almost seems like there is a memory leak of some sort. I find it start getting bad when using Chrome browser, which I am using the latest build of. But it could be something else. Anyone else having similar problems?
I've had it pretty bad when I leave Snapchat running in the background

As N is in beta and for development purposes only you should expect it to not work right. Issue a bug report. It's what Google wants you to do. It's the whole purpose of the beta process.
I realize that and I have provided feedback to Google about it. I was also asking the community if they had related issues as I am.
Over the past two days, I started getting some random reboots. Clearing the cache in recovery seems to have addressed the issue for me.
It's worth a try just to see if the random reboots disappear.
Thank you I just tried it. Forgot about that trick lol
