Hi Buddy,
I just bought Galaxy Tab 4 7 few weeks ago, to replace my old Tab 2 7
But one thing that makes me a bit confused, when I'm trying to move few apps and games to SD Card, its only moved the small data (see attachment)
I've used about 5 different samsung devices previously, and when I moved the apps and games to SD Card, its moved almost the entirely files. Why it doesn't work at Tab 4 7?
Also, is there any CF Auto Root for Tab 4 7? Or any substitution that can root tab 4 7 as easy as CF Auto Root?
Thank you before!

What is your tablet's model number? I can probably link you to the right method to root it

I'm using the 3G version T231.
But I'm more curious about why the move to sd card function seems not work
The data that I expected could moved to external isn't completely moved

Sorry I don't know about the sd card function stuff. Root methods can be found here and also here idk if either is better I hear both are working.

Hi. I own a Samsung Galaxy S4 i337M, which as you know has only 9 GB of internal free space. I have an SD, but I can't figure out how to move the apps to that place. I tried several methods, incluiding the app-moving apps in the Market, and the foldermount method, but nothing works.
Anyone knows a real, working method?
PS. I'm not from the US, therefore my S4 is not Sprint. I didn't knew where to post this.
Thanks.

What issues are you having with FolderMount? It is verified as working for the S4. I use it and it works flawlessly on mine.

It looks like it works, it apparently move all the files to the SD (according to the app), but when i check the SD in the explorer, nothing actually happened.
Sup xda. So I just won a galaxy s4 Google edition from a contest, and it can't write on my 32gb Samsung class 10 SD card. The problem is the phone, because it would write perfectly on my s3, also I bought a new one (sd card) and it can't write on it either, so definitely the phone's the problem. I read that this is a problem from android 4.3. Is there a workaround or will I just have to wait for kitkat?
I really need it to be able to write on the SD card cause I have some apps that rely on that.
Please help. Thanks

Isn't this a result of 4.3 disabling that feature? You have to root the phone, and edit a file to allow the media_rw group access. There are tutorials out there to explain in more detail.

Is root the only way? I really didn't wanna do it given some issues I've haven in the past with my s3 and the charging current intensity. But whatever. I'll see to it.

That S3 issue sounds like you installed a ROM. I'm not suggesting that, I'm just saying you need to root in order to adjust whatever system file needs adjusting. Here's what I found. Good luck!

Anyone else having problems with their cards not been recognised?
Card is good in other devices
Try formatting it in computer but it might not work for long. Already "burned" 2 cards. Not using them anymore…

What's your device?
Formatted in the pc and also in another note 2 and its recognised fine in those
Its a N9005
Does your Note3 recognize other cards ?
Maybe the problem is with Note. Hardware problem.

Yeah sounds like a hardware problem with the Note 3
My N9005 also do not recognize SD card. Problem in my case is ... one of the connectors broken. So live with it or replace of mainboard needed. I decided that 32gb be enough for me.
Check out all connectors in SD holder

If your n9005 running 4.4.2 it's firmware issue , search xda for that but you must rooted your phone , or wait
till samsung come out with firmware update which is coming and it's fix the extsdcard issue.
I recently got a Note 4 N910C which had N910CXXU1COI4 pre-installed. I have the following two queries regarding it.
1. I have installed a 32GB SD card which runs perfectly fine on it. But whenever I unlock the phone after keeping it still for few minutes, I get a notification 'Preparing SD Card...' for just a sceond or two and then it disappears. As I already mentioned there is no problem in the functionality, it is just this notification that bothers me. What should I do to it?
2. Secondly I wanted to know is it currently possible to root the firmware version which I mentioned above as I couldn't find any guide regarding it anywhere.
Regards.

Try this. Sorry, it's in spanish. As I'm not allowed to post links search in youtube for Miguel Angel Rocha channel, 9th September . And tell me if it works!
I've been debating my upgrade choices lately, and what I really need in a upgraded phone. As of now I have the note 4 and I need root. What choices are out there for verizon? And do I have to go to an older phone to have root?
I got tired of waiting for root on the note4 - got the nexus 6p - much better phone and it can be activated on verizon. (I'm choosing to try project fi though as it's so much cheaper..)
I just got my wife the note 4, it doesn't have root still?
I have the sm-n910w8 I think it's rooted with cf root but no luck with es file explorer can't delete system files nor does supersu asks for access

Do you have the Sm-n910w8 running on the verizon network?
No it was videotron, unlocked it to use on koodo/telus
Nexus 5, 6, 5x or 6p
S5 or Note 3 that was already rooted or wasn't updated. both on the latest updates cant be rooted. Note 3 had poor reception for me.
Note 4 Dev Ed if you can find one
Thank finally some information. Glad I'm not a fanboy. I started with htc, stayed with them 4 yrs. Til the note series started, been with them til now.
