Hello Edge users, I thought maybe you'd be interested in this as well.. @arter97 needs a S6 device to be able to make Xposed work for our devices.

Thanks!!
) nice
come on guys, it should be enough with $10 from each one of you, I bet there is atleast 100 S6/S6 Edge users, should not take more than a few days to reach $650.
I thought this has already been done? http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3113463

Only for Armv7 Devices so prettymuch all Samsung phones except the S6, The S6 is a Armv8 device.
/* Supported firmwares */
Every ARMv7(32-bit) Samsung Lollipop Android 5.0 deodex'ed firmware should work.
But please note that I have tested this only on Galaxy S4, Note 3 and S5.
64-bit devices or Android 5.1 is not supported.:crying::crying::crying:

Hello!
I've started the petition "SAMSUNG Galaxy S2 Android 4.2.2 UPDATE (OR) EXYNOS 4 SOURCES: Please release an update to Android 4.2.2 for the Galaxy S2 (OR) Alternatively a release of Exynos 4 Sources will allow developers to take over." and need your help to get it off the ground.
Will you take 30 seconds to sign it right now? Here's the link:
Add " h t t p : / / " and then visit the below link:
Code:
change.org/petitions/samsung-galaxy-s2-android-4-2-2-update-or-exynos-4-sources-please-release-an-update-to-android-4-2-2-for-the-galaxy-s2-or-alternatively-a-release-of-exynos-4-sources-will-allow-developers-to-take-over
Here's why it's important:
The Samsung Galaxy S2 was a great device and has received 2 updates: IceCreamSandwich (4.0 to 4.0.4) and JellyBean (4.1). Samsung halted the JellyBean update at 4.1 and did not proceed to release 4.2 or 4.3. We Samsung Galaxy S2 users want an incremental update to atleast 4.2.2, as the S2 Plus (S2's sister device) has received the update. The S2 Plus is relatively similar to the S2 (except CPU and GPU), so an HDPI screensize is not an excuse for not releasing an update. If Samsung and/or its Developers are not benefitting from the development of an update to the S2, why not release Exynos 4 Sources and allow the third-party developer community to take over?
Please sign this petition if you are interested in seeing some development take place for this magnificent device.
Note:- This Petition applies to the following devices:
Samsung Galaxy S 2 (International) GT-I9100
Samsung Galaxy Note 1 (International) GT-N7000
Thanks!
Ryan Ceferitti
Your initiative its a good start but this doesnt mean that samsung will hear 2-3 voices whispering "update s2" we need a lot of people to sign but even that its probability of update is very low,by low i mean 0.001% , but, if we can try , why not?...anyway s2 is old , thats the true reason why sammy wont update it
I see that it is your first post here , you are a new s2 owner/xda user?

sorry, this might be a bit out of topic,
but I own sgs 2 and i haven't tried the custom rom, although it is already rooted.
the reason i haven't tried it was because in every room especially the new os i.e. 4.2.2 > always has some basic function that doesn't work
such as bluetooth, GPS/Wifi or even restart when changing from landscape to portrait, etc. (CMIIW)
so if the release of the exynos source would ensure full functionality of custom rom then i'll vote on it.
in the mean time is there any other branded phone that offer custom room with working function?

I have been using a custom ever since I got the phone and 4.2.2 and 4.3.1 are perfectly stable for me and has been for awhile now... no such problems as you mentioned.
These threads are just as amusing as the noobs who post 'OMGZ ! Such & such rom is on the S3 I want someone to port it to the S2 now !' threads in Q&A.
Edit - Also, this thread is superfluous given the long running thread re: this issue here (with petitions & other nonsense).

Hello, I used to be a Galaxy S3 owner, on it I had Omega Rom and i used to change my Rom often,
there was not a version problem. today I got Galaxy S5 but i cant find a normal Rom
that supports my device ( SM-G900h ) I watched the threads of AllianceROM , OmegaRom and more.
but they all mention the same "not support g900h"
few questions:
* Is there some information about a future version that will support g900h ?
* Is there a Recommended Room that do support g900h ?
* Why do all the other versions are supported except g900h ?
thank you

Because you have a niche device. The 900H uses an Exynos chipset. But the vast majority of S5's use a different Qualcomm processor. Just by sheer numbers one would expect the Qualcomm models to be better supported.
And even if you have a ROM developer who was willing to take on the work of having to develop and support two substantially different ROM builds, he more than likely owns a Qualcomm model. Not an incompatible 900H. It wouldn't make sense to develop a ROM for a phone that you don't own - it would be exponentially harder.
ROMs that support the 900H probably reflect Devs that happen to own a 900H. If you want to buy 900H phones for famous Dev's as you put it, I imagine that more of them would release for Exynos.

Samsung's source code for Exynos is both dated and incomplete. Making AOSP or LineageOS ROMs using the source code is difficult. So difficult in fact that many developers stopped developing for Exynos devices altogether. So Exynos is a bad choice if you want AOSP or LineageOS. That is why the bulk of the custom ROMs for Exynos are Touchwiz ports.
Making a device for Qualcomm Snapdragon processors is far easier, as Qualcomm provided all the source code for the CPU. Since all the source code is present, an AOSP or LineageOS ROM is that much easier to build.

I don't think the problem is about our exynos CPU.
galaxy S5,S6,S7 also have exynos cpu and they all have LineageOS.
I read a post in S5 forum. The first dev make CM 12.1 for S5 said that exynos in S5 is the most terrible. But it have LiOS now.
I think our dev is move to another phone is the reason.
@But_Hacker: It's an established fact developers moved off Exynos on the S4 years ago due to lack of source code as well as documentation. What you're seeing now is not related but is simply because the S4 turns 4 in April, 2017.

Man, s2 and s3 is older than our device and they have CM or L os in android 7.
I think i will have android 7, soon. In this year.

I don't ever recall saying it was impossible, just very difficult. The simple fact of the matter is you have to have developers to do this stuff, and a lot of them refuse to work with Exynos for the reasons noted above.
I personally don't have this problem as my roomie's SIII and my S4 both use Qualcomm processors. Just lucky I guess.

Well i see you post below. You means S4 exynos dev is difficulit because of source code and document.
But S5, S6, S7 now have many document ? that is why they have CM or LineageOS for them now ?

On Exynos or Qualcomm? I don't haunt every Samsung forum, especially as my current device is a Nexus, so what those devices have or don't have isn't something I pay much attention to. I do know however that the documentation, while still incomplete, had improved for the S5 - S7.
I do believe the JDC Team may be able to attempt LineageOS on the I9500. But you'll need to talk to them and get them an I9500 for development.
Question: who here would like an official lineageOS Nougat build for all variants of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4?
Just want to see if its worth the devs time if there are any devs out there that will maintain this device.
+1

There are already several Nougats builds for F/G/V variants in the Devs threads mate and many users are using/testing them. I'm not sure that you will get any "No" in your poll

But are they official? and what about other variants? What I'm asking is an official all-in-one universal that supports all of the variants.
Im sure theres more then 4 people and myself who would like an official build. Kinda sounds like your comments just make this poll bad and thats why only 4 people and myself voted. Your post makes it sound they they are official when not.
My note 4 is only 7 months old and was Manufactured August 2015 so this device is not really 2 years old and As Samsung was making them still in half way through 2015. Am i the only one who loves this device more then any newest samsung devices? I mean it beats the note 1,2.3,5,6,7 and also s models.
A unified build is planned: [DEV][trlte] Unified LineageOS device tree for Snapdragon Note4.
In the meantime, see my signature for daily builds of 4 trlte variants, which correspond to 7 model variants.
TrueStockN is a ROM I originally developed for T-Mobile's s6 edge+. I opened it to the international s6 edge+ as compatibility was possible since ROMs for F can be used on T, and my theory proved right. Next came T-Mobile's Note 5. This was a bit tricky, as issues came from installation on these devices. However, thanks to @keith2012, it was determined that all issues could be solved by installing a new kernel. So far only Poseidon Kernel has been reported to work wonders with this ROM for Note users, but other kernels have not yet been tested. If you would like to test this ROM or have questions, feel free to PM me or check out the main thread: TrueStockN
what's the point to post this in NOTE 5 development forum @Rehvix
Just letting Note 5 users know that if they want, they can install this ROM
