This is my First FULL Loaded ROM Port for our device LAVA IRIS 504 Q :angel:
Presenting latest MIUI V5 for Lava Iris 504Q, its based on latest MIUI Weekly update V5 4.7.11
ROM is butter smooth and NO LAGS at all. I am using for a day and did not find any errors.
Many thanks to Rahul Saud and LAVA IRIS 504Q Devs and Many Many XDA Authors for their articles through which I could do this update
Manage root permissions in Permissions manager, you need to enable so that applications can ask for root access and you can deny/allow based on your preferences.
I have included ALL Possible tweaks like (init.d already enabled)
** Battery Saving
** I/O Tweaks
** Scheduler Tweaks
** Entropy Generators
** Performance Tweaks
** Kick Ass Kernalizer
** On loading Fix Permissions Scripts
Also
Included
** WSM Tools - XPOSED Installer equivalent for MIUI ROM
** MI Tools - XBLAST Equivalent for MIUI ROMS
Included libraries and build.prop updates for
** SONY BRAVIA Engine for better display

Good for daily use, NO LAGS AT ALL...
Bugs:
Screen flickers: Disable Auto Brightness, it must help
SIM issue:
If you have two SIMs and you have disabled a SIM, the ROM may report com.android.phone has stopped, the only way is to activate the another SIM.
Some people recomment the data clean for Phone App, but it didnt work for me, but worked when I activated two SIMs.
Other than this, No Major Bugs,
Inform me, if there is any, I shall try to fix it
Note: I am NOT a developer and I also dont OWN this ROM, Other Porting Devs can help to resolve any issues. Just give me some credits as I have burnt midnight oil to make this happen.

Did you "Clean Install" the ROM? Follow the steps like wiping out everything and then do a installation. This should work. Please try and revert.

Go to dialer
Dial *#*#4636*#*#
Click Phone information
Ensure the IMEI at the the top of the screen does display IMEI number of your phone
ensure the following parameters set [do not change anything, if you donno what you doing, please]
ensure "set Preferred network type" is equal to WCDMA Preferred
ensure "Turn off radio" is not enabled, if it is enabled, disable it
ensure "Turn on IMS registration required" is disabled, if it enabled, disable it

Yes, I have nova launcher through which i could see the icons for calendar and weather. the primary launcher did not show these items. may be i need to edit the apk... will try.... and revert ...

just install any miui theme or strip a default.mtz from a miui rom and install the same and apply, this problem is resolved. i dont have this problem now.
btw, the miui rom is the best ever fastets rom i have seen workinf for lava iris 504q with many features

hi..i cannot find the link for 4.8.1 full version ROM. the first link[g-drive] is for 4.7.1.
BTW hve to agree that of all the roms i hve used the miui v5 is the best.

MIUI V6 is on the way ....

Very good rom... But my phone memory is getting detected as memory card. Even after going into stock setting options and changing the default memory does not make any difference.is there any way to fix this problem ??

Thank you for such wonderful ROM, I've always been fan of MIUI
One Issue with the ROM.. the Internal and SD Card are been swapped and creating problem, request you to please provide some solution or will need to be back on my previous ROM.

The bug is only for caller id for second Sim.. Everything else is fine

I am confused as my phone already came with Kitkat version from box. Is this ROM is still compatible with my phone (A120). This ROM looks best among rest of your ROM posted over XDA or if I am wrong please guide me.

Wait let me check into this issue.. V fixed it.. Let me check again..

he is right..not fixed..i ve tested but for some reason worked on 1 try and now i ve restored and try it again and doesnt work..we call but we cant see nothing..only if you receive a call its fine..let me work on that, we will try to fix it with a patch.

Oxygen os 5.1 based on andriod 8.1 for santoni.
ported from oneplus 5t.
This is initial release and may contain bugs. Rom is close to stable an can be used as daily drive.
remaining bugs will be fixed in next update.

Instructions:
1.use treble supported recovery like redwolf.
2. download the rom backup.
3. Extract it and place it in internal <recovery name< device code
4. restore it from recovery .
5. wipe cache ,dalvik cache, data.
6. reboot.
7. follow notes carefully.
Notes:
1.In dialer --settings , disable noise cancellation option otherwise call audio will not work.
2. set dpi to 390 since it is ported from op 5 and may have resolution bugs.
3. use any other camera app since op camera is buggy.

Nice, but please focus on one ROM only. Oxygen OS is something new to the santony users, I would like to see this develop into a bugless rom with goot battery life and features. Ans please provide some screenshots.

currently using this ROM.
bugs :- fingerprint not working, camera app fc, swipe gesture not working and cant remove navigation bar, device heating while charging even the battery area too,FM Radio is missing.
oneplus slate font is also good.
i loved the file manager the most it has clean user friendly simplified UI (i wish to see this/this type of file manager in other custom rom).
battery backup also seems to be good till now.
