Go to the top right and press the back button. Then, go to the top right again and press Key Input.
Type: Q and press okay. Then type 0000 in Key Input and press okay. Then you should see a service mode screen.

I'm not sure if this works for all Phones in the X10 Series.
(for example: on my X10 mini Pro it doesn't work).
Maybe you need to use the following combination:
middle, right, right, middle, right, middle, middle, right.
or in other words:
Home, Back, Back, Home, Back, Home, Home, Back.
You still need to do this when the screen is in locked mode... (screen is on but locked).
It worked for me!!
Is it possible to access the EVRC-B menu and activate EVRC-B on the Fascinate?
Thanks in advance
I am interested in this too.
I saw the thread on the access menus, but not on how to access the programming menu.
Can anyone chime in ????
Okay here you go
****IF you BRICK your phone thats on you.****
**772
SPC code 000000
The bottom of the screen will have buttons that are directional like a d-pad.
Press down until you see:
SVC Mode NAM1
End of BASIC NAM
Exit
Press right once you will see EXIT change to MORE
Hit enter
Press Down once and you will See
HomePage VoiceSO
EVRC
Push right button to change to EVRC-B
Hit OK Phone will reboot.
Okay update hit enter after each change to EVRC all of mine have stayed at EVRC-B.
What can you do in this mode?
Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App
It changes the audio output of the voice codec.

None of these worked for me, and I'd really like to get into those audio settings?
T
(The Telus Fascinate is more of US/VIBRANT (gsm/cdma) then a Verizon Fascinate)
Just to start. Yes I have exhausted my search before asking. I am looking to improve call quality by switching to EVRC B. However using
Tried: **772
SPC code 000000
The bottom of the screen will have buttons that are directional like a d-pad.
Tried: Go into the Dialer and enter *#83786633 then press the Home key
Go back into the phone dialer and enter *#22745927
Now a box will come up asking for the SPC code. Enter 000000
Press the Hidden menu Enable radio button.
I am erasing the first entry before entering the second and im not pressing send..... the spc box never pops up for either
However I can get into testing and long shut down button enabled menus, however I can't get into gps testing (mine works fine) or others.
All I want is to switch to evrc b and volume controls to see if it helps. There has to be a difference between the verizon and telus code dialers.
Any help is much appreciated!, love the phone, but it should be a phone first everything else second not the other way around.
Phone is a telus fascinate/vibrant, not rooted.
Maybe there is no this func, but I saw on the demo in youtube that there should be a possibility to customize hardware buttons behavior. Also should be possible to enable swipe on Home button.
If you type in search box in General Settings keyword "camera" it will show you that there should be some settings in Buttons, to set behavior. But if you press on context link - it shows button menu but very limited.
Do you have one?
Thanks

If I'm not wrong swipe on Home is available on ZUI home, not Cyanogen OS.
On Buttons menu you can set home long press action, home doube tap action (doesn't work on latest update).
I personally use "All In One Gestures" app to configure buttons

Thanks a lot. I will try!
The reason is I would like to set a camera on double tap action and cannot find how to do it by default.

In Settings -> About Phone turn on Advanced mode. Then you can configure buttons. I have it set up just as you'd like it, double tap for camera, works perfectly for me with latest update.

Hey,
I live in China and I have a Korean Samsung S5. Chinese LTE bands are different, so I was trying to make LTE work using the standard guide.
However, I found a much easier way to enable more bands using a few simple steps and no need fo custom roms or kernels.
I am not sure why this worked for me or if it is going to work for anyone else. Do this at your own risk!
What I did was I went to this site:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s5/general/guide-enable-unlock-edit-add-gsm-lte-t2948822
Then I scrolled down and used the instructions to check the LTE bands my phone already supports.
Here's how you can check you existing LTE bands:
Open the dial pad
Type: *#0011# to enter Service Mode (Be very careful with what you do here)
Note: You need to be rooted for this to work
Once in Service Mode, do the following:
Tap the menu button and tap Back
Tap the menu button again and select "Key Input" and enter an upper case Q and press OK
Tap the menu button again and select "Key Input" and enter 4 zeroes (0000) and press OK
Wait 5 - 15 seconds. You'll see the Main Menu
Choose option [2]: UE SETTING & INFO
Choose option [1]: SETTING
Choose option [1]: PROTOCOL
Choose option [2]: NAS
Choose option [1]: NETWORK CONTROL
Choose option [4]: BAND SELECTION
Choose option [4]: LTE Band Preference
Choose option [7]: LTE ALL (Or you can choose any band instead)
If you want to go back then tap the menu button and choose Back (Don't press the back key)
Press the back key to exit.
After step 7, I pressed a new option that came up: GSM 850
then I clicked option, back, back again. Nothing happens, pressed home button and I see I have no signal. Then I turn on airplane mode, swich it off and I see that my phone connects to LTE. So now I have a stock Android 5.0 rooted Galaxy S5 that supports all LTE bands.
This is much more simple than the guide already on XDA.
Please post feedback, because I do not know anything else besides what I have already posted. Thanks.
does this enable band 12

Has anyone been successful adding lte bands to the SM-G900F while running Cyanogenmod 13.0 ro 14.1
Alternate access to Service Mode
On my phone SM-G900V running Marshmallow, The *#0011# didn't get me into Service Mode Main Menu,...I had to use the following in dialer: *#27663368378# to get into the Main Menu screen.
Hope this clue will save someone a couple of hours of frustration, and research. I Hate Marshmallow, Especially it's F__ked-Up Storage Management! SD Card write protected.
this just figures, i very recently switched from a TW ROM to Resurrection Remix and i cont figure out a way to get into the service menu on AOSP
Getting Dialer options
Maybe this will help. https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2303905
