I am on LG D802 on android version 5.0.2 stock rom.
I just flashed the efficient kernel ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g...-aosp-t3042534 ) trough twrp and now, my phone doesnt boots. I can only enter download mode, but even then, white lines appear on the screen and my phone isnt recocgnized by the software on my pc (lg mobile support tool and lg pc suite). I cant boot into recovery, and when trying to normally reboot, the logo gets darker and the screen turns white and then black after 1 minute.
I really need help as my computer doesnt recocgnize the phone at all.
Does someone knows why this happens?
Install the latest lg drivers

Well im kinda new to the rooting thing but I believe my phone was only soft rooted. I was trying to install twrp but I got a dead android with a explanation mark or it would go to a black screen after the lg logo.i didn't know I was soft rooted when I was trying this. so after awhile I gave up. my phone still booted normally without trying to go into recovery. recently an update for android came out ( kitkat 4.4.2) so I decided to see if it would work. it restarted the phone to install the update and it got stuck in fastboot mode. I read somewhere you can install twrp from fastboot, so I tried to fix it and now it gets stuck on a black screen after the lg logo. Ive been searching for a solution for over a week and any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a Verizon lg g2 vs980 with the stock rom if that helps...
Oh and when I plug my phone in to my pc while the black screen is on drive letters F though T pop up and the F drive has an image folder in it with random files
Similar issue... no LG logo at all
I was successful in rooting then attempted to install TWRP. The phone turned off then turned on with the "android open stomach and !" icon... it shut off a few mins later.
Now, all I get is the buzz when you power it on and a black screen. Im not able to enter the recovery mode using any combination of buttons. I cant even see the LG logo!
LG Mobile Support Tool nor my computer will even recognize the device. Am I truly bricked beyond repair?
When returning to stock from custom rom(cloudy g3) I accidentally bricked my g2(d802).
Every time I only get the start of the bootanimation(the lg logo) and then the screen turns black(with backlight, with sometimes there flashes a bit of the other part of the bootanimation, almost thougt it was haunted or so) and the status led flashing as usual.
I tried to restore via download mode with the lg mobile support tool and with the lg flash tool, but strangely the progress on my phone and pc didn't match (it ends with my pc still on 80% and the phone already rebooting into the same state).
Even strange is, my pc recognises the phone most of the time and thinks it has the latest software. I also can't power of the phone or perform a hard reset/reboot to recovery.
What can I do to recover my phone if still posible(I only have it for maybe a week or 2 )
HI, i need help, I have Lg G2 D802. I tried to update my rooted LG G2 D802T to lollipop using lg pc suite and it all went well but when the update was completed my phone got stuck at the lg logo with the led shifting between green and blue color, when I turn phone off it automatically restarts and goes back to doing this, I waited for a whole day but the phone stayed like that, I can't enter download mode as it goes straight to fast boot and recovery won't work either. I don't have a custom recovery installed either. I'm kinda new to all the software flashing and stuff, pliss help
Hi Guys,
I got my G2 back from my brother who have not using it for a while.
1st day it was working. I plan to install Lineage or custom ROM today...thats when the issue start:
1: it wont go to recovery mode. Even thou I have rooted and install latest TWRP it will only boot to Hardware control key screen, only this screen and wont boot to the OS it will be stuck on LG logo forever....
2: tried to go to Download mode....the same It will go to the same hardware control key only....
3: when I plug in to my PC it wont turn off, keep on restarting after I press the power button for a while.... only if no cable connected I can totally turn it off...
For a noob like me....looks like my G2 D802 is brick :crying: ...any suggestion?
PS: windows detect it( As below picture ), off at all when I plug in AC.....It Will just show the LG logo and the LED just flashing non stop until I pull out the cable and turn it off...
This is what shown on the laptop No Disk1/2/3/4/5 of sort showing on the Device Manager and on the phone each time I try to go recovery or download mode belowh happen:

Update 1: I found out why the phone was brick. Seems like my Brother ask his friend to install Lineage 15.1 on the it. After everything is verified ok. He wipe and try to flash the rom in TWRP but.....it failed and suddenly just freeze and turn off the screen. Maybe bad ROM download or some step miss....so now the Phone has NO OS and would not boot to anything only the Hardware Key Management....that's all....help? Need the phone as 2nd phone for company lines....dont wanna take the iPhone 6 from my boss....
help?
