Well im kinda new to the rooting thing but I believe my phone was only soft rooted. I was trying to install twrp but I got a dead android with a explanation mark or it would go to a black screen after the lg logo.i didn't know I was soft rooted when I was trying this. so after awhile I gave up. my phone still booted normally without trying to go into recovery. recently an update for android came out ( kitkat 4.4.2) so I decided to see if it would work. it restarted the phone to install the update and it got stuck in fastboot mode. I read somewhere you can install twrp from fastboot, so I tried to fix it and now it gets stuck on a black screen after the lg logo. Ive been searching for a solution for over a week and any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a Verizon lg g2 vs980 with the stock rom if that helps...
Oh and when I plug my phone in to my pc while the black screen is on drive letters F though T pop up and the F drive has an image folder in it with random files
Similar issue... no LG logo at all
I was successful in rooting then attempted to install TWRP. The phone turned off then turned on with the "android open stomach and !" icon... it shut off a few mins later.
Now, all I get is the buzz when you power it on and a black screen. Im not able to enter the recovery mode using any combination of buttons. I cant even see the LG logo!
LG Mobile Support Tool nor my computer will even recognize the device. Am I truly bricked beyond repair?

I have the ATT model g2. it was running android 4.2.2 and i rooted. i got an OTA notification yesterday so i unrooted it, and uninstalled busybox. and went ahead with the update. now, my phone does not turn on. you go to turn it on and the lg logo flashes for a second or two, then a black screen, if you look closely you can tell that the screen panel is still lit, but nothing shows up. It will not boot to download mode, and it does boot to the (stock LG recovery, i never had a custom recovery) recovery, but when i hit the power button 3 times to do the hard reset, i get the black screen again, and no boot. when i connect it to my computer, it gives me a bunch of popups saying that i need to reformat a drive before i can use it, somewhere around 15-20 of them? ive run out of ideas to fix it. any and all help is appreciated. would really like my g2 back, im back to my old phone which was a nexus 5 that has a terribly cracked screen, and i really like to get the g2 back rather than having to pay to get my screen replaced.

I don't have a custom recovery installed either. I'm kinda new to all the software flashing and stuff, pliss help

Hey guys,
a while back i rooted my G2 then i had some problems unbricked my phone and removed the root. Today "Clash Royale" didn't open corecctly, it stuck at 50% so i decided to restart my device. Then it went black and didn't turn on. I saw the LG Logo on more time before the screen went completely dark. I can' enter download/recovery mode. The screen won't do anything. I cant connect it to my PC. The LED doesn't turn on either. I dont know what else to do. I tried to unbrick it according to these steps (https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g2/general/lg-g2-unbrickable-fix-real-hard-brick-t2904404) but i am not sure if i did Step 8 correctly, because nothing happend. Any Ideas on what i could try?
And before all that it was working completly fine.
Thanks for the help!
Are you see Lg logo ?
