[Q] Wiped phone won't boot past LG Screen - Please Help! - G2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm really stuck and I hope someone out there might be able to help me out (or at least stimulate my brain to try and figure out what I did!)
I was looking to return my G2 back to T-Mobile (D801). Since i rooted it and installed a custom recovery, I know I needed to wipe it and return the phone back to stock. On my first pass of performing a factory reset, the phone will no longer boot past the LG screen. I didn't have a back up on the phone since I hadn't prepared for that step at the moment I was clearing the data from it (stupid of me, I know).
I've tried to sideload a rom through ADB just to get it to boot, but none of the ADB commands seem to be recognized. I don't even care about getting the phone back into working condition, I just need the phone to go back to stock recovery so it doesn't show as rooted (so T-Mobile will accept it).
Does anyone has any suggestions on how to accomplish this? I really need to figure something out since the clock is ticking to return it before I get penalized. Any help is welcome and appreciated!
Thanks.

Borked my phone, badly need help

This is almost embarrassing to post, but I need some help...
I have the T-Mobile G2, btw, which was rooted and with TWRP 2.6.3.3
So I was installing an AOSP ROM, and like a dumbass, instead of installing gapps like I meant to do, I accidentally flashed Smikey's KitKat ROM on top of Cyanfox. I realized it too late to stop it, and once the flash finished, I did a wipe of everything but internal storage and tried to restore a backup of CloudyStock. When I rebooted it goes to the LG screen with a secure boot error, and then a black screen where you can still see the backlight if you tilt the phone.
I tried using the LG Mobile Support tool to go back to stock, (It will go into download mode), but I can't get it to push any of the three stock images to the phone.
Holding down and power to do a hardware reset doesn't work either.
Help!!!
I picked up a cheap Tmobile prepaid to use until I get this figured out, but I want my G2 back! Does anyone have any advice at all, or did I brick my phone beyond repair?
I forgot to mention, I'm not sure if it's the phone or the drivers aren't properly installed on my computer, but LG Mobile support tool is reading my phone as a V500...

Anyone know if this method for unbricking the Optimus G will work?

[Q] D803 fumbled & wiped system - how to get back?

So, I fumbled the phone when in TWRP & I've wiped the whole system - data, cache, etc - there's nothing on the phone anymore.
So, when I turn it on, I get stuck at the LG screen.
I can get into download and TWRP. I've got access to adb on the desktop. Not sure if the adb is turned on on the phone when this all happened.
So, is there a way back?
I just want my phone back in a loading state. I'd send it in under warranty, but it's rooted, so I'm sure the response will be that I've voided the warranty.
I did have Cloudy G3 1.3 running but was having all sorts of issues with the data connection. Went to go back to stock, but that's when I fumbled the phone.
Help please?

Just use the following website, flash to stock then root and download recovery. After that, you may do whatever you like. Use the KDZ method.

You should be able to just use adb push command in twrp even if you didn't have adb enabled in settings.
Sent from my LG G2 D802
It's alive!
Got it back thanks to the first response.
Having said that, I'm getting the impression that there are not a lot of options out there for the D803 that DON'T work completely. I guess I'm stuck with stock? I hate all the bloatware on the Rogers variant. I can uninstall most with Titanium Backup, but can't seem to get rid of the Rogers app - it says it can't find the apk file? Maybe the permissions are protecting it?
Is there a ROM out there that people are happy running on the Rogers (D803) variant?

[Q] Galaxy S4 won't boot past recovery (urgent)

This is somewhat urgent because I am leaving the country for two weeks on Friday, and need a working phone. I am not sure what happened today, but my Sprint Galaxy S4 (SPHL720TBK) wouldn't connect to WIFI at my house. My tablet would, so I know it was a phone issue. I rebooted then was going through settings, and just checking things. The phone rebooted itself, and when it came back up, it went through a couple of screens, one of which asked about activation. It seemed like it was installing an update from Sprint, which it had been trying to do for a week or so. But it kept failing, saying it didn't have enough space for the download, despite there being several GB free internally and on the SD card. (I figured it must be because it was rooted). After a couple of additional screens on which I could only answer OK, the phone rebooted again, and that was it. It would not boot again. I decided to power off the phone and deal with it tonight. I can boot into recovery, and connect with Odin. I can boot to recovery and connect with ADB (in sideload mode). I know I could just do a factory reset, but unfortunately, I do not have a full backup since the end of January, and I would rather not lose everything. The phone was running v 4.4.2. I had rooted the phone several months ago with CF Auto Root using CF-Auto-Root-jfltespr-jfltespr-sphl720.tar.md5, so it was essentially stock, but rooted. Is there anything I can do to get the phone back on its feet that will not lose everything? Or anyway to copy data from the phone with it in this state? Any assistance will be VERY much appreciated! Thanks!
Fixed it myself

Since I didn't spark enough interest for anyone to offer advice, had to spend most of the afternoon/evening fixing these problems myself. Everything seems to be working, so I thought I would pass along key parts of this hard-learned lesson in case anyone else finds himself in such a situation.
First I booted into adb sideload mode, which is all I could do anyway. I installed philz_touch_6.23.9-jflte.zip and the aromafm.zip. I was then able to boot into a "normal" recovery mode. Aromafm was troublesome, and I eventually had to manually put the zip into place for it to work consistently. These are both WONDERFUL , and I highly recommend them both. Thanks very much to the creators! I used the file manager to find the files that I didn't want to lose, and used ADB to pull the files over to my PC. (ADB pull <source> <target>) Then I did a full wipe and factory reset. That did little other than delete all my data, which I had already copied anyway. The phone still would not boot past recovery.
I tried to use ADB to install a new ROM, but got a variety of errors. My phone being an L720T, there are not many ROM's available, at least not for which I could find functioning links. I finally found a TAR, L720TVPUBNG5_L720TSPTBNG5_L720TVPUBNG5_HOME.tar.md5, and used ODIN v3.09 to install that.
I still need to go back and re-root the phone, and install lots of APPS and restore data, but at least I have a functioning phone, and I can do the rest on my plane ride tomorrow.
I found the information I needed in a variety of posts here on xda developers, and would not have been able to get through this without all the helpful advice posted to other threads. So thanks to all of you for the wealth of information available here!

Recover data from softbricked, unrooted VS980 G2 stuck on LG screen?

One of my friends was having me try to fix or at least recover data from her Verizon G2- it's been stuck on the LG screen for about a week, can still go to recovery/download/other basic screens but that's it, all she did was put it in her pocket and it stopped working. Unfortunately I'm REALLY new to anything Android (please forgive me if I'm using terminology incorrectly!) so I've been lost trying to work this out.
I found out today that she went ahead and got a new phone altogether but she asked me to pull the data from this one. Before this I've tried using LGFlashTool to reset the phone without removing the data, but every way I've gone about doing that has told me that "there was an error connecting to the device" or something along those lines, same in Alligator Toolkit 3.1 and even Windows Device Manager.
At this point I just need to get the data from it, but it's not rooted so I can't install TWRP (not sure about any alternative recoveries), and I can't root it because it hasn't been able to get past the aforementioned screens.
Is there a way to basically just copy all the data on the phone to a computer without a recovery, rooting it, or anything like that? Or is there any way I can install a recovery like TWRP?
Another thing is that strangely last night I managed to make it turn on and work properly, but when I finally decided that it did work and went to unplug it and put it away, it went straight back to the LG screen. I'm not really sure what I did to get it to work that time but I haven't been able to make it happen again.
Sorry if any of this is unclear, I'll be up late available for any clarifications. Thanks in advance for the help!

no stock recovery/bootloop stock OS

for one thing i know most of some of you might be happy to see me here so whats up i am fine but stressed
so i was helping someone to get lineage OS running on their phone and i managed to get that part successful but lineage sucks for me unless theres alot i missed on how bad everything went, crashes, cant access my screen during a call etc.
so now i want to get another OS but i ran into this issue, i couldent access twrp, i tried to ADB the boot command no go so i reinstalled twrp (same verson i had 3.3.0-1) and now nothing boots just sits at the LG screen, so i said %^&* it i redo the whole phone from scratch but that one is a fail to, i cant get factory reset to even come up, when i do the button command it will show the circal with eraseing and reboot and just sits on the verizon screen. im guessing i messed up my recovery and no way to figure this one out or what to ask google to find an exciting post about my issue,
well i managed to got it figured out saw a post similer to mine and did the steps, well in that post i had to get LGup but i managed to get a patched verson of LGUP, on there it said to do a partiotion DL option and select all, well that did not work for me so i said lets see if refurbish will work altho it ALWAYS FAILS well with the patched LGUP refurbish is an option, that got my stock OS going, i tried my recovery and still no go, but i did a soft restore and phone is back to normal, if anyone has any issues i be glad to help, this was new to me to getting it going
