Could anybody please extract the original baseband files from the Leaked GB 2.3.4 (4.5.1-134)?
I reaaally need them, cuz I installed the Baseband Switcher, and it tottally messed with my signal, now I'm using an Indian baseband, It's working, but I don't know, I'm not feeling safe with it.
Thank you so much.

The best baseband for Brazilian users to apply in this rom is International RT. It supports all of our frequencies...
Does it shows more efficiency than the 'stock' one [2.3.4 supports only 900/2100]? I mean, VIVO operates under 850/2100 frequencies, and I noticed since updated to 2.3 my battery is draining quite fast. May that be the problem?
Plus, When i switched to VIVO (VIVA, as shown in the baseband switcher app), my network got all messed up. Then I changed to this International one (found in EUROPE tab, isnt it?) and then the signal was working again. Isn't there any issue? I mean, both of them (The International in wich you mentioned) and VIVO (VIVA) operates under the same frequency, and only the International worked.
Thanks anyway (I know, we're both brazilians speaking english, that's weird haha)!
Obrigado! hehe

The battery drain it's not related with baseband....
All the roms that i tried, 2.2, 2.3, none of them worked with brazilian basebands, only with this International RT and I dont know why!! I GUESS, it's because i'm using an European ROM and the International RT is a european baseband and Brazilian's baseband belong to Americas ones.
I don't know but i have read somewhere here that if your baseband does not work properlly it would drain a high amount of battery.
I'll give it a try again. Cuz my battery is damn bad!
Btw, can you help me in this? It all started when I upgraded to 2.2, then my battery drains about 2.5%/hour. Is that normal? I upgraded then to 2.3 but didn't help too, still draining 2.5% in an hour... Cuz I guess when I was with 2.1 my battery used to last a little bit more. Already wiped dalvik/battery stats/cache, did a factory reset, etc.
Thanks again!

Many people say that 2.2 and 2.3 drain more battery than 2.1, which is strange because these versions should be save more battery, but about that I dont know what to do... I never realized the difference betwen them...
About the baseband, it will drain more battery if it have problems to find the signal, your cell phone will be looking for signal every time, draining your battery...
hi.

Hey, what will happen if I flash N910F full stock rom (including b/l, modem etc)? I have the N910G variant and I really wish to update to lollipop but there hasn't been any news for it in like literally a month. I live in Australia so if I do lose some bands, there are still ones that are compatible with Australia.
Also is it just me or is KitKat stock so laggy and slow? I get battery drain and overheating. I had a Note 3 before and never experienced any of these issues...
Thanks Guys! :good:

I'd advise not to as it may produce unexpectable results from losing IMEI to a Total brick. Never seen a case that it has worked, except when the kernel is not flashed and or kernal is modified to fit the new model.

Can only agree with that. There are high chances that your phone will end up being a paperweight. You don't flash anything youre not sure about via odin

Probably a bug and to my knowledge there is nothing you can do besides trying a different firmware and/or rom.

Would this work on the N920I? Willing to give it a go... or bad idea? I know India and Australia (I'm Australia - XSA) shared the N910G with the Note 4 so I'm not sure if the N920I and N920G are different? Would flashing (even if it worked) the N920G on an N920I trip Knox?
N920G is the single sim variant right? I'm on N9208 duos...no update yet in India

They were doing this with marshmallow previously and there's no problem with knox. You end up with the G modem.
Have a read of the posts about it. I assume you would need to flash mm 920g first then update to nougat.
Samsung pay stopped working after factory reset on nougat.
1)So far good battery life with almost constant use on stock nougat 7.0 on SM-N920G india..
2)Maximum 5hrs of SOT with quiet heavy usage like lte data as well as wifi enabled most of the times as per availability ,Music ,Social networking like Facebook, whatsapp, hike, instagram, twitter, pinterest, tumbler and many more i use daily with WQHD display mode instead o FHD which is default as i wanted it to compare with MM
3)Power saver mode is also disabled so just tested it as daily personal usage with Lte Data and Wi-Fi enabled as per availability, Power saver disabled, WQHD display mode with Auto brightness on, Most of the preloaded bloatware disabled as i always prefer clean touchwiz without unnecessary apps
4)Didn't tested heavy graphics game through game mode(As i am not games-lover but a social-freak),performance mode on ,maximum brightness like 70-80%
5)Deep sleep is not tested as i didn't keep it aside to acquire proper deep-sleep but as per moderate battery drain i can say it might been solved as it is for Turkey users

Almost all the Region's Stock Roms have bloatware but if you want Volte then i would recommend INS (India) Rom . It has bloatware but it can be deleted using Root and it has other features also like Wifi Calling and Bike Mode

Yes it is somewhat true like some region's Stock Rom does not support Volte feature while some like INS variant supports it so Yes there are differences but they are mostly very less and small. Some regions have more bloatware and some have less but according to me 95% of all the different region's Roms are the same with no major differences.

Yup , you can say that because it fully supports Volte feature which you must have seen in other threads , is currently quite a lot in demand
