Almost all the Region's Stock Roms have bloatware but if you want Volte then i would recommend INS (India) Rom . It has bloatware but it can be deleted using Root and it has other features also like Wifi Calling and Bike Mode

Yes it is somewhat true like some region's Stock Rom does not support Volte feature while some like INS variant supports it so Yes there are differences but they are mostly very less and small. Some regions have more bloatware and some have less but according to me 95% of all the different region's Roms are the same with no major differences.

I wouldn`t risk flashing firmware that`s designed for a different device model, in this case the G900F firmware on a G906K.

There isn't a lot of reliable information about your model so there is no authorative answer.
Most will say that it's risky and not recommended to flash a firmware from another variant. As well, you don't simply have a different variant of the 801 Snapdragon based S5. You have a derivative model, with a different processor (805), screen resolution, et cetera. Strongly arguing that it is highly unlikely to work and would likely brick your phone.
The best you might hope for is someone alleging that they were able to do so. And then you'd still need to estimate the credibility of such a report.
If you have root and a custom recovery installed, you could remove much of the risk by trying a 900F based custom ROM, e.g. the Phoenix ROM, rather than flash stock 900F firmware. All in all though, it's an improbable fit.

Thanks for your help guys.
Yep, I imported this model for the specs. It's not a real drama on the stock firmware tbh. I just wanted to remove the splash screen and network installed apps from Korea.
I've hidden the apps, but there are still a couple of Korean bits and pieces I would like to get rid of. Maybe a firmware or suitable rom will become available soon.
No, u can't use the SM-G900F firmware on the SM-G906K
hello,
i want to return to stock rom from cyanogen 11 on s4 but i can't get my csc and pda version from *#1234# and in sammobile there are so many choices and i dont want to brick my phone so i want to now if i can update to any software as i am not locked to any carrier bcz i hate cyanogen on s4
thank you
No, you can just put the file downloaded from Sammobile into the "PHONE" (or "PDA") area.
the firmware version of your phone should be on the original box with the IMEI , if you have the box go for it

Hi Mate
CSC stands for Customer Service Country , it gives you country/carrier specific configuration like language , carrier network settings ( like fastdormacy)
Is good to have but you can live without it.
Does that mean i can download any software from sammobile and install it without any problem??

In most cases yes , you may not have your language available or miss a network specific configuration but it should work ...

Yes.
But do not try network specific roms or firmwares of some different model.
Example: i9500 stock firmware wont work with i9505. You will brick your device.
Rest any i9500 rom will work with i9500.
I'm using a russian i9500 firmware on my Indian i9500, and it works better than the rest
Press Thanks if I helped

I also have a UAE csc Note 4 SM-910C . It shows 4G but the LTE sign never shows up only 4G appear and have to use the JioJoin App which has a reliability of sadly 50% only. If any solutions please respond.

nothing yet, jio4gvoice is the only way out for now.. btw 4g is lte and seeing either of the signs is fine. the thing is we need VoLTE sign to get calling working without use of jio4gvoice app.
I need csc zip file for s6 edge plus at&t (SM-G928A) for installing bixby voice (with process)
And aslo i want to know can we install csc by abd method .
i used Khonglio oms csc zip - it has all the cscs you would ask for ...
I deleted all the international ones out of it and made a much smaller austrailian one - you can do this to get the American one.
You will lose any Volte though
I have Dr. Ketan ROM for Note 5 installed in my S6 Edge+. How can I enable Bixby?

pls help for all.i am also using same device
Guys as m new to this thread ..can any one plz suggest me a rom better battery / performance then stock rom and stock like canera ..and yess volte too .thanks....
You do need to try each ROM to see which works best for you. Below is a combination of the theory plus my experience. I am assuming you have exynos version of phone. Otherwise it'll be hard.
If you care about battery life and performance balance, while still having the stock camera, a touchwiz based ROM is likely the way to go. Superman, super stock and Helios come to mind. Sticking with your stock one and flashing a kernel would also work. Volte should work on all if you flash your csc. Superkernel or notorious kernel both have great battery life. Super stock is also improved from stock, but less savings and more performance than the other 2.
Ported ROMs will never have battery life as good as the s7 ROMs. Even the developers will admit.
Any questions, ask away.

Not sure what rdfe means.
Provider and current CSC could help.
Is the CSC on your current phone that of your provider? Does your provider provide volte (I don't know any that do not)?
---------- Post added at 01:03 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:58 PM ----------
CSC is country specific code. It is responsible for carrier services such as volte. Download phone info by vndnguyen on app store and that app will tell your CSC code.

Download the app to find out your CSC. Each provider/country has a code. Ensure that yours matches your phone provider. Alternatively tell me your CSC and provider and I can try to work it out for you.

I see - you are using a UAE phone with Indian sim. Not sure how it works with dual sim, but Airtel CSC is ACA and Reliance is INU/INS.
You can download official firmware/ ROM which includes the CSC for these off Sam mobile. Alternatively, if you are planning to use custom ROM anyways. At least for Superman ROM, there is a whole CSC collection that you can install after you install the ROM. INS is definitely one of them. That CSC will allow you to VOLTE with your Reliance sim. Not sure how you can get VOLTE with both sims though as they use different CSC.

It literally links you in the Superman ROM thread. I understand that there are other things in life and that it is not always clear, but it does show laziness and a lack of initiative - properties that make people not want to help you. People get a bit ****ty if you dont read. TLDR at least read the post(s) by the developer first.
Here is the link.

Also here is a link to 2.4 version of CSC selection. I like it better cos it doesnt mess up the modded pulldown menu (at least for my CSC).

Download and flash after Superman install and choose the CSC you want (INS in your case)
