Problems with touch screen windows 8.1
Hi all,
I have a teclast x80h and I took a bad decission trying to change the SO...
I have FB6M model.
I removed these partitions:
MSR and system (16 & 17) were removed too because I couldn´t install windows with them active.
I removed the windows partitions trying to save some diskspace, but when I installed the other version (win 8.1 english + bing for teclast x98) the screen detects my finger in the wrong side... even in the OS selection menu, if I touch in the right it detects my finger on the left.
In windows, I tried to fix this issue with the exe, the regedit and moved the touchsetting.gt. It fixed the rotarion but not the touch detection.
I should rename some lanes and now I got these:
;SensorID=0
gtptool=0
X2X=0
Y2Y=1
X2Y=0
Log=0
Now the rotarion is ok, and it detects the finger in the right location (ONLY on Windows, the problem persist on OS selection menu ) but the finger detection is far from be accurate, it detects two fingers instead on one sometimes and the detection is very poor... This is not a HW problem because in android all works fine...
Hope you can help me here as I am getting depressed
To sum up:
The touch detection is not accurate on windows
The touch detection feel my finger in the wrong side of the OS selection menu (right/left)
I have problem same topic. Please help me.

I try to reinstall Goodix Touch HID . but is not work:crying:

I have the way to solve this. thank teclast malaysia facbook.
1. gotolinkhttp://www.teclast.com/tools/pad/pad.php
2. fill four number
3. dowload originnal window
4. install window with winpe same this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59248625&postcount=386
on my teclast x80hd work fine.

Hi, Tuyexe,
Do you by any chance still have your Teclast x80hd tablet? I've installed Windows 10 on my dad's tablet. I have found the Goodix HID drivers, it detects the touches, however inverted and wrongly as you described a few years ago. I think I need the touchscreen.gt file. Could you share it with me?
Thanks

New method for installing XP

Hi all.
This is another method for installing windows XP on the Shift. It uses WPI (Windows Post Install) for running every installation in sequence, so it should be easier for everybody.
Most steps have been simplified, so hopefully you only have to press a lot of buttons, and you'll end with an almost perfect XP installation.
Download this:
http://www.filefactory.com/file/ca737a/n/WPI_exe
Follow these steps:
1.- Install Windows XP Tablet, or plain Windows XP and use the TabletPCPatch. Take out SD card.
2.- Execute WPI.exe, decompress to C: (type c: and enter)
3.- Execute c:\WPI\wpi.hta
4.- In the applications list that appears, select OmniPass if you wan to use the fingerprint reader and ActiveSync, then click on "Begin Install"
5.- Chipset: next, yes, next, next, finish with reboot.
6.- VGA: next, next, yes, next, next, finish with reboot. Add resolution to registry, yes, yes.
7.- EC Driver: next, finish.
8.- TouchScreen: next, next.
Next and follow trough the three windows of "new hardware found", before rebooting!. Finish with reboot the Touch Screen Driver.
9.- TouchPad: next, next, next, finish with reboot.
10.- FingerPrint: next, accept, next, next, next, install, finish.
11.- Audio: press any key, next, DON'T REBOOT, finish, press any key.
12.- USB Lan: finish.
13.- WLAN: Drivers are copied to c:\wlandrivers, install from there when you are asked for them later.
14.- CYGWIN: next, "install from local directory", next, next, next, click the + sign next to "devel" and click on the word "skip" of the line "ioperm" so that "0.4-1" appears, next, deselect both icons creation, finish.
15.- HSECT: nothing to do here.
16.- BAT Files: Add batfiles to registry, yes, Ok.
17.- Astray: nothing to do here.
18.- SwapResolution: Add swapResolution to registry, yes, Ok.
Let it reboot after 20 seconds.
Now it usually asks about the WLAN drivers, see step nr. 13.
If it asks about drivers for Windows Mobile, just answer yes until it finishes.
Thanks to DeVictoria for the SwapResolution and the rest of you for adding comments.
Thanks for the step-by-step guide dproldan
Hi! Thank you very much for this post!!!
Just an information... Where can I find Windows Xp Tablet???
I have no external cdrom, can I run the installation of Windows Xp Tablet from USB key? How can I do???
Sorry but I'm at a very low level!!!!
Thank you!!!!
Beppe
I cant manage how to run BT/WF.
Its just doesent work. Cygwin seems to be ok, but when i want to run HSECT it shows that some dll is missing, or just disappearing.
I've managed how to install and run bluetooth correctly, but i cant install drivers for Wi-Fi.
"Device cannot start (CODE 10)"
Same stuff with sound. I have only Bluetooth Sound, nothing more.
And i cannot switch to SnapVue.
hi, i install windows xp tablet Pc edition 2005 english version,
step and step follow the new method for installing xp ,
it's ok but wifi ,
in device manager ,marvell sd8686wireless LAN SDIO Adapter #3 is yellow mark, and i can't use it ,
some thing wrong with me?
how can i star up the wifi for internet?
Thanks for the WinXP easy install process. I got everything working trying this package.
To get Wifi working, you have to copy the "copy HTC Shift XP Drivers\WLAN\sdbus.sys to c:\windows\system32\drivers\ say yes to the replace dialog and reboot."
DO THIS IN SAFE MODE ONLY. This is how I got mine to work. I had the same problem with the yellow and not working wifi code 10 in the device manager.
If you copy this without in safe mode, it will not work because after the reboot the system will replace the overided version with the old one again.
thatboyp
'
yes..u re rite.. but in normal windows mode...the sdbus.sys also can be moved.
the overwrite sdbus.sys make the SD card SDHC no functioning.
on the contrary, if i update the sdio driver ...i mean overwrite the sdbus.sys the SDHC card 4g above will work but the wifi lan will not work.
we gona have the driver which works with these two functions
This automated driver installation is great help & instructions are very clear.
Many thanks to dproldan for all the hard work and excellent finish.
However, i had big issues to get wi-fi work but in the end removing the battery and then after that running turn WF on helped.
MAYBE REMOVING BATTERY HELPS WITH WI-FI ISSUE !!
i don't know if this helps but maybe next time:
- check in Vista that wi-fi is turned on
- do all the installing
- if wi-fi not working: remove battery and put it back
- then run WF on
- marvel appeared in device manager with yellow exclamation
- upgrade drivers from c:\wlandrivers
hth
Hallo,
thats perfect. Many Many thanks.
I've finally installed XP using the above WPI method which is fantastic - Many thanks for everyone's effort on it. I was very surprised that both BT and WiFi worked with no extra input or fiddling from me YAY!
BUT my touchscreen wouldn't work as the TabletPC patch doesn't self install and the instructions didn't state this. Luckily I found instructions elsewhere (it unzips to c:/temp and you have to manually run step1 and step2 the reboot) and now it's all working and super speedy compared to Vista.
Has anybody succeeded activating like all chipsets when going with Windows XP Tablet PC SP3 ?
as far as I know using XP involves the following inconvenience:
1. the touchscreen need a tweak in deactivating a HID driver to fully work (working to remove that)
2. making the WiFi work disables the SD Card port => if WiFi then no_SDcard !BIG PROBLEM! (solved by going to sleep then start up - original files, don't replace anything)
3. 800x480 resolution only => can't find any program to make "see" all resolution BUT " MultiRes " could change IF would be available ! !QUITE BIG PROBLEM! (working on it)
4. no native portrait look => try " iRotate " to rotate
5. can't program right upper buttons for exec'ing needed commands (such a Control Panel) (working on it - think I found something)
? I tend to use the latest available drivers, not the ones available on HTC, keeping updated is one of my fixed ideas
I tried Windows XP Pro SP3, Windows XP TabletPC 2005 SP3, Windows Vista and Windows 7... I recommend Windows XP TabletPC 2005 SP3 for advanced users and Windows 7 for the world ON HTC SHIFT, not for pc or else...
If someone has any good and updated instructions set for installing Windows XP TabletPC 2005 SP3... please let me know, the genuine part I have already taken care of, I'm talking more about the drivers and all of that for all to work well, and I need XP for development, Windows 7 is not ready to be low-level programmed and is not suitable for me.
I'm not saying XP is better, I run Windows 7 on my main desktop because is quite powerfull and there's nothing I can't do on it, BUT I need XP for my beautifull Shift, it do think it more suitable
UPDATE ! After I installed Windows XP Tablet PC 2005 SP3, did Windows Update, restart... and discovered a bug wich allows us to use the WiFi without modifying no file, just go to sleep-mode and then start the device, all chipsets are going ok, I'm using a 16GB SDHC Silicon card, using wireless, bluetooth and all what I need... NO hacking required, looks like there's a exploit in power management's sleep mode... that's better for me, for now at least than giving up to SDslot for WiFi... so sleep -> wake, and you're ON !
Update 2: given up and going for Windows 7 which really makes a difference for touchscreen use

Hi Samstables,
I strongly need your help here for installing the TabletPC patch on WinXP.
I followed your steps for installing the TabletPC patch and I did not manage to have the Input Panel working. I can see it while booting Windows but I cannot call it from the taskbar icon.
In the above post you mentioned Step 1 and Step 2, then reboot and so I did it. What about step 3?
What is the size of the patch you used, it's important to know as I might have downloaded a damaged patch.
tanks tanks tanks!
Very good, but i have a problem:
if i reeboot then i don't have wifi.
I must remove from device manager the sdio card reader and then refresh the wifi and the card running.
PS: excuse me for my english
WPI_exe file no longer exist
Hi all,
I just got HTC shift and decide to install WinXP for faster response
Find this thread, but link for WPI below is dead
Can anybody reupload this file?
Thank's

Hi,
i have the same issue -- the response on the right side of the landscaped screen is mirrored. Still looking for a suitable touchscreen driver or driver update for Silead.
Hello, I have a tablet with Windows 10 1511 and a touch 10.1 MSSL1680 and I am in the same situation, the touch done anything! Anyone found a solution?
my tablet also has this issue - genuine Windows 8.1 w/ Bing was fine, but after fresh install of Windows 10 - touchscreen is some kind of mirrored...
I tried at least ten different drivers or FW-files, always rebootet and fully deleted the not working driver before. no success so far...
Still looking for the Silead for my tablet, a Proscan PLT7064-B-K
I thought I made a backup of the drivers but sadly seems like the touch screen driver got corrupted (left half of the screen is ok except for a small offset and right side of the screen is mirrored horizontally ie right side edge touch register in the middle of the screen and right side middle of the screen register on the edge...)
I can't seem to find the drivers for my tablet but in my search I found other Silead MSL1680 & GSL1680 drivers ... one of those drivers might be the ones that MJ-Tech uploaded, sorry, renamed a few folders for better organization and have lost track from where I got some of them!
Hope it helps some of you that are looking for those!!
Hello everybody, i had the same issue (x axis mirrored) and solved it extracting data from the restore data following these steps:
-used these files: www . dropbox . com /s/x0tuibvuz0fqxle/silead_reverse.zip?dl=0 <-without spaces
-from windows device manager uninstalled the current driver for silead touchscreen (checking delete driver software for this device)
-copied the files in the "copy" folder (from the zip) into the C:\Windows\System32\Drivers folder
-now going back to the windows device manager right clicked on the device -> update software driver -> find in the computer -> selected the "KMDF HID Minidriver for Touch I2C Device" folder (from the zip)
-rebooted and the touch screen worked perfectly

I have tested some versions, but not working. Latest unsigned works for me and i download it from here. Microsoft update catalog: http://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=Touch I2C Device

[Q] Windows 10 installed on Chuwi vi8 but with one problem.

As the title says I've installed Windows 10 TP on a Chuwi vi8. Easy enough to do, iso on to USB stick (fat32) with GPT part for uefi, then just hit escape on startup and go to boot menu, even added Wifi drivers to usb and loaded them during install which worked. Upon finishing I had to load a lot of drivers manually but managed to get a clear device manager. Had to manually install Intel HD drivers as it sees the MS drivers as newer, until you do this it's at a snails pace.
Anyway, the one problem I have is the touchscreen. It's recognising touches, just nowhere near where I'm actually touching it. Ran the calibration and having no luck. The current drivers are 'KMDF HID Minidriver for touch I2C Device' and these are the ones I found for W8.1 .
Anyone know of an alternative/fix or is this just a W10 TP problem? TIA
That's weird. I just went back to 8.1 but had been running 10 for weeks. I just installed the 8.1 driver, it complained initially (exclamation mark) but cleared after a reboot. No touch accuracy issues for me on 10074, 10122, and 10130. I think I got my 8.1 drivers from a link on techtablets.com.
BTW, the only issue I had was constant battery drain, even on standby. Are you experiencing that?
I also have the dual boot VI8 and wiped all partitions before installing 10, if that matters.
Edit: I've pretty sure these were the drivers I used: http://techtablets.com/download/Chu...ivers/Chuwi Vi8 Win8.1 drivers April 2015.zip
Hi my2sense, cheers for the reply. I used the same drivers, mine's the single OS no hdmi version. I found another set on a Chinese web site last night, I'll try them out today. After a lot of searching it seems some people are having the same issue after reinstalling 8.1. So maybe the drivers have been updated and are to blame. I may try pulling the old drivers out of the recovery drive I made, see if that helps.
As for the battery, yeah it's on constant drain when in use. Before I installed the drivers it seems to have charged as I was on 40% when I started in 8.1 and 75% when I finished in 10. The brightness levels also seem off in 10, just nowhere near bright enough. I'll probably head back to 8.1 after I have it working and wait for an official version. It's a shame as windows 10 has a much smaller footprint than wimboot 8.1 + recovery drive and seems like a nice OS.
Try regoing to 8.1 and hard reset for best results

Anyway, the one problem I have is the touchscreen. It's recognising touches, just nowhere near where I'm actually touching it. Ran the calibration and having no luck. The current drivers are 'KMDF HID Minidriver for touch I2C Device' and these are the ones I found for W8.1 .
Anyone know of an alternative/fix or is this just a W10 TP problem? TIA

any solution ?
Hey,
I've ran into the same problem. I'm waiting for the tablet to reset but its taking ages.
Either way, I'm going trying the following;
(Just google "Chuwi Vi8 Windows 8.1 Reinstall Touchscreen Calibration Problem: Resolved" first link)
I'm not allowed post urls yet with my low post count
Seems like it might be worth a shot at least. I'm assuming the drivers work with Windows 10 however.
Jim
Just to note that following the instructions exactly as indicated in the post referred to in my post above leads to a correctly functioning touchscreen on the VI8 in Windows 10
i had the exact same problem with my vi10, just download the win 8.1 touchscreen drivers from somewhere and restart your tablet
Open device manager - human interface device - right click KMDF HID Minidriver for Touch I2C Device then choose Uninstall (tick delete the driver from þos device). Download this driver ht tps:// drive .google .com /file/d/0B8WYoM0IL-EHX1lMV2FZcUdibkE/view?usp=sharing
On device manager right click and scan new hardware. You can see new hardware found. Use the new driver.. now restart the device.. hope this can help

As the title says I've installed Windows 10 TP on a Chuwi vi8. Easy enough to do, iso on to USB stick (fat32) with GPT part for uefi, then just hit escape on startup and go to boot menu, even added Wifi drivers to usb and loaded them during install which worked. you havent got problem with calibration it is problem with firmware
but here is driver for you

My problem was the same after installed Windows 10 on chuwi vi8 (single boot version), the touch was comepletely inverted: when i touched left bottom corner the touch showed at the top right corner and so on. I remembered that on Android when i ported roms from different devices i had the same problem.
How to fix it?
1. remove the touch driver (KMDF HID Minidriver for touch I2C Device).
2. The screen rotation is disabled by default on Windows 10, you need to enable it. After that you did that, rotate the tablet upside down: with the tablet's Windows logo at the top of the screen (IMPORTANT!).
3. install the KMDF HID Minidriver for touch I2C Device driver again. The driver will take the initial directions now, so be sure that you dont rotate the screen during this step.
4. reboot, and its fixed!
Hope it helps....
Just Thanks!!

Thanks for sharing this post :good::good:,
I followed your simple instructions and finally, this really worked for me after a lot of time having issues with the touch screen.
Hope this works for most people too.
Best regards.

I followed your instructions, the device is recognizated but the touch present multi points on the screen and the miviments is inverted.
I have the same problem.
I had it windows 10 out of the box, however I had to reset it to defaults recently. Upon booting up I'm on the page where you choose your time zone/keyboard layout/language/country..etc, there is a next button on it too. Its part of the windows steps before it actually boots into Windows for the first time, unfortunately the touch screen isn't working on at all on this page. So im unable to even get to device manager or reload touchscreen drivers.
So for me, What are my options?
Could I use a micro USB to USB converter and plug a mouse in the tablet???. Im not sure if the mouse would get recognized or not though... I cannot think of any other way to solve this??.

Nextbook Flexx 11 Tutorials

Nextbook Flexx 11
A 200-250$ 2-in-1 laptop.
CPU: 1.83 GHz Intel Atom Z3735F Quad-Core
RAM: 2 GBs
SSD: 64GBs
Screen: 11.6" Touchscreen
Ports: 1 x MicroHDMI, 1 x MicroUSB 2.0, 2 x USB 2.0
Micro SD Card slot
Installing every linux based OS(Android, RemixOS, Linux Distros)
Prerequisites:
A bootia32.efi file (Found in attachments)
A copy of your favorite linux distro
Rufus, UNetbootin, or a USB disk image write of your choice.
A flash you can wipe, and boot from
A little bit of time
Step 1: Setting up
First thing you'll need to do is use your image writer to write the iso to your USB.
MAKE SURE YOU SELECTED THE RIGHT USB DRIVE!
I cannot stress this enough, if you don't want to lose everything on another flash drive, or your hard drive, check and make sure you are using the right drive letter.
Do not restart now. We need to add some files to it.
Extract bootia32.efi and copy it to /boot/efi on your flash drive.
So this was some instructions I made for booting it, but this is much more complicated than it should be. You can totally disregard this spoiler.
Step 2: Booting
Plug your USB into your nextbook (if you haven't already) and turn it on/reboot it.
As its powering on, hold ESC to get into the boot options.
Click "Boot Manager" and select your USB drive.
IF IT DOESN'T SHOW UP, FORMAT YOUR USB DRIVE TO FAT32 AND GO BACK TO STEP 1.
Now, 2 things may happen, it may boot up perfectly, and from there, just follow the steps to install.
If it doesn't boot properly, we'll need to type a few commands.
Step 2.1: Grub Command Line.
So if it doesn't boot up properly, which chances are it wont, you'll be dropped into a command line.
This is grub, if you didn't know, and to boot we need to locate the drive its on.
First press FN+Ins to turn off NumLk, then type,
Code:
linux (hd
now if you press tab, it should list everything you have attached, for example:
Code:
hd0, hd1, hd2, hd3
The usb will most likely be hd0. So now you should have
Code:
linux (hd0,
If you press tab again, it will list off all of your partitions, or autofill one in.
Now you should have either:
Code:
1. linux (hd0,msdos1)
2. linux (hd0,gpt1)
Now, if you have this, type this(replace hd0,gpt1 with what you got):
Code:
set root=(hd0,gpt1)
then type
(new)Step 2: Creating a boot file.
So, now that you have the files copied over, you need to name the drive.
Right click your drive, and click Rename... (Remember the drive name, its important)
After you renamed your drive, create a folder at DriveLetter:/boot/grub
In that directory, create a file named grub.cfg
Now depending on your linux version, you'll have either syslinux, or grub already.
If grub: The file should already be there, so you can move on to step 3.
If syslinux: Find the isolinux.cfg or syslinux.cfg (probably in /syslinux or in /isolinux)
It will look something like:
Code:
label LinuxVersion
kernel /kernelFile
append initrd=/initrdFile (more options)
We're going to use these options to create our grub.cfg file.
Use this as a template.
Code:
menuentry 'LinuxVersion' {
search --set=root --label THIS_IS_WHERE_THE_LABEL_YOU_SET_EARLIER_GOES
linux /kernelFile (more options)
initrd /initrdFile
}
Step 3: Boot into your new OS.
Reboot your PC. When it turns back on, hold ESC.
You should be brought back to the BIOS area.
Press "Boot Manager" (you will need a mouse for this), and select your USB drive.
If you did everything correctly, it should boot.
Step 4: Go wild!
You should be booted, GO CRAZY!
There are a few problems with most distros, including:
No Wifi
No Bluetooth
No Gyroscope
No Audio
There are drivers online for these, but you need to be able to patch a kernel, and build/install a driver.
Wifi
Is the guide not working?
Go ahead and ask some questions, don't be afraid of help.

Thats all the links for now. I will add more as I find them (hopefully to fix audio, power button, and rotation)
Huge thanks to Ian Morrison for the Ubuntu iso.

I apologize for the delay, busy with school and all.
You can't leave us hanging like this!
I'm not sure about OP here, but I have the smaller model of this device being the Flexx 10. Now I haven't tried to boot Android on it, but I have successfully booted Linux Mint with it.
First I would recommend using a USB OTG capable flash drive (they are available at office stores, walmart, and so on and so forth,) or an OTG adaptor instead of using a full sized usb. The reason for this is stability of the booted system as the connection of the keyboard dock does not appear to be extremely reliable. This may vary by model or device but I would still recommend it as you may need the full sized USB ports later.
Now instead of using Unetbootin, I used Rufus. I used the settings of GTP for efi and bios to write the image to the drive. I didn't mess with any other settings there. After that I had to get a file called bootia32.efi and then add it to the /efi/BOOT/ before the system would even try to recognize it. From there it was just waiting patiently while it booted. (use the instructions in the earlier post to get to the boot options of the UEFI) It took it a while to boot as I suspect the USB speed was rather slow.
As I didn't really have time to really mess with it and get to the point of install, I will list the issues I came across.
1: Automatic rotation of the screen did not work.
2: wifi (RTL8723BS SDIO)
3: bluetooth
4: sound
everything else seemed to work just fine though, even the volume rocker, windows button and power button on the tablet section reacted and did things. not entirely useful, but they did work.
Edit: forgot to mention that if you go through with the install, you will have to finish the install by doing some grub modifications to make it boot without a live disk. just a heads up.

Sorry I'm coming back so late, I've been busy with life.
The Wifi issue can be fixed by building the driver (https://github.com/hadess/rtl8723bs)
The bluetooth wont work on most OS' because it relies on some windows drivers to work.
I might be able to find a driver for screen rotation/audio.
Another issue is the power doesn't get registered, and the touch screen is VERY flaky.

I didn't really notice that power one as I did not use it long, but I think that is just an atom thing. My old n270 based aspire one does that too.
Really though, the way I would use it, I wouldn't miss screen rotation or the bluetooth, but the touch screen is the nuisance. What I noticed with it is that when the screen is forced into proper orientation (by use of screen rotation in the settings, you know without using the command line) is that the touch screen doesn't follow the new orientation correctly. It appears to have the portrait resolution set to the top left of the screen in landscape. That said, it works fine in portait. Or at least managably.

Well, I decied to try and boot remixOS, and it works VERY well, so does android-x86 5.0
That being said, audio is a glaring issue.
When you tried Remix OS and say it worked very well. What do you mean? What actually worked? Obviously audio is what doesn't since you mentioned it. But am I to assume that screen rotation works as expected then?
I'm not willing to use REMIX OS personally as the whole android bit is a limiting factor to me. Unless it rooted of ccourse. but even then some of my prefered uses for Linux is lost.
Also hows the hardware acceleration?
How do I install the x64 version of Windows? I downloaded the ISO with the Media Creation Tool and it won't boot from the USB drive. I enabled USB booting and made sure secure boot was off, but it's not working. It keeps saying there's no USB device available.
Unfortunately due to the way that Windows works, the 64 bit version is not usable due to the bootloader difference. Even though the hardware of the device is capable of 64 bit code execution, the 32 bit UEFI Bootloader will only allow a 32 bit version of Windows or a 64 bit version of Linux with some EFI fiddling. And as far as I know there is not a way to fiddle with the EFI related workings of a Windows ISO so 64 bit Windows is not possible on these Nexbook devices or others with similar hardware (Asus t100 is a good example of similar device)

That's really dumb. Most Windows devices are 64-bit nowadays. Why would they put in a 64-bit processor but not allow x64 operating systems?
You're guess is as good as mine on that one. Ask Microsoft on that one. They used the 32 bit version because Microsoft will only give the "Windows XX (originally 8.1) with bing 32bit for free. Which keeps the device cost down. Kinda hard to to sell a cheapskate device when it ends up costing as much as a better speced laptop.
Where can I find recovery images for this? I messed up and now I don't have audio or touchscreen drivers.
You can try this web site from Efun themselves
http://nextbookusa.com/recovery/index.html That is their official recovery download site.
(apparently I can post links...)

Do you have this tablet? Do you think you could do a driver backup and upload it here? Or create a recovery image and share it?

i had the same issue. dont paste the drivers directly to windows folder. open device manager and install drivers for intel HD graphics and I2C touch controller and touch will start working. for rotation need to install bosch accelorometer drivers
Memory problem
I was told Memory 32 GB expandable upto 500 GB. How can it be expanded? It looks there is no room for HDD of 500 GB. Windows 10 was unable to update due to low space ie less than 4 GB, Windows needs 5 GB space.
In Android they gave 8 GB ROM for me. They said 32 GB ROM, atleast I understood in that way. I didn't know Windows 10 also was there, dual boot.

My hands on experience
Please do not try based on the info available in this site/thread regarding installation of Windows, installation of Android, unless further progress is there because of the following hands on experience.
1) The tablet is manufactured by little known company, hence not much development support can be expected.
2) the company is having only one service center at mumbai, they are not ready to share windows drivers or android files through downloads.
3) This looks like laptop but they say it is a tablet with keyboard, hence it is similar to phone with so many secrete partitions and files.
4) It has UEFI type BIOS only, (No legacy BIOS), it has 32 bit only hardware, it does not popular other hardware chips hence it is difficult to get worked open android OS or windows drivers* . (further I suspect it might have locked Bootloader this is the point i have missed before my attempt)
I have backed up all the 17 partitions and restored back with Easeus To Do back up (so far other image backup software are not even working on this type of environment). I have backed up various methods , as some problem i was anticipating (like Partition backup, Disk Back Up (sector by sector method), System Back up & Disk Clone while it was running OK )
But on requirement , when restoration was done with partition backup (as My windows was not booting , not resetting, not restoring , vendors asks to send it back to Mumbai)
windows problem was not solved but android was intact. when tried System restore, windows problem solved but android not booting, when disk clone restore attempted nothing was booting. when restore from Disk back up was done only windows was restoring. Hence they have locked somewhere.
I have tried to install Android -x86 5x it is 32 bit but not EFI compatible . No other s like 4.4, 6.0 etc is successful (these are installed at c drive, not same as manufacturer provided which hides in some partition )
In view of this , if windows corrupts and becomes non bootable , only Windows 10 32 bit UEFI version may be installed as per the procedure specified at initial [But screen auto rotation does not work, OS Switch is missing but we can go to bios (esc key to be pressed while booting) switch OS-but the may considered minor ]
In my case i have expanded my disk to full 28GB for Windows 10 and backup copy of OS and all imp programs like WinOffice etc & settings are stored (8GB) on my SD Disk of 32GB, which I also made bootable and selectable from BIOS. If any major corruption of windows occurs, as always saves my data on SD card, it can be temporarily removed and important work will be backed up, tablet can be restored in 40 min at click.
UEFI bios reset blind method
After some setting change in advanced video menu the screen blank
To reset / to load defaults we have to follow actual steps in blind method.
Press ESC key when you feel it is starting
Left left enter
F9 enter to load defaults
F10 enter to save
The following mentioned at Cube iWork 10 ultimate dual boot rooting at techtablets
please note that no matter what backup software you use, if you restore the entire disk image (specifically, the android partitions) android will NOT boot anymore. This is because Cube (or rather, their ODM) enabled dm-verity so the system detects that it has been “tampered” and just hangs at boot. to fix that you should reflash the official android image with the files provided by Cube, or use a modified boot.img (see rooting section)
Hey there guys, just wondering if anyone else is having the same issue as me, I have the TWG ces 101, pretty much the same tablet but with a different bios, I am having a weird issue with the touch screen, it worked fine before I nuked windows attempting to install android x86, and upon installing windows again and finally getting all the drivers working again, the touch screen is going crazy, every touch registers as it being somewhere entirely different from where you have touched, some spots on the screen when touched show up as 2 fingers on 2 random parts of the screen etc, I have tried calibrating to no avail as I cant even click where it asks me to, I have tried multiple versions of the driver (which I only found through a driver search program called SDI and right clicking it and searching the part number on microsofts download database (as it came up as unknown device and had no name)
not sure what else to really try...its driving me a bit batty

Extract the content in the rar file. Using a mouse browse the contents of the folder and open Drivers > HIDClass > KMDF HID Minidriver for Touch I2C Device
Right click oem24 file and select install.
