Good to know that it's happening on the LG homeland, officially. For other LG products like their phones, anyone know what the usual lag time there is between release in Korea and North America?

there is an official announcement that KK will be out and available in April for Greece

No, devices with custom recovery can not get OTA updates. You will have to restore to the stock recovery or wait for flashable ZIP version of the update.
I've installed the pre rooted kk version yesterday. But I think I'll go back to linaro cm11. LGs ok seems not fully allowing immersive mode. What I'd love to keep around would be the keyboard and the lock screen. I just love how the lock screen wallpaper reveals the home screen around the finger where the screen is touched. Other than that I think I liked cm11 better. I just have to pass on ART in favor of exposed. Xposed just brings so many options. Btw some Xposed modules just don't work as expected on stock.

It was posted in XDA before. Link.
Technically its not, because we are reporting official update being rolled out in Korea in the General section and not a download link to the actual firmware, plus I didnt get that link when I searched the other day.. anyways .. if you feel that disturbed by my post .. I'm requesting to any admin/mod to remove it!

How does my giving a link get interpreted as being disturbed? Someone accused you of having gleaned it from XDA, and instead of simply saying they were mistaken, you quoted the timestamp as proof. The link I gave clearly says it was taken from the official LG servers, and beyond the dozen posts that preceded your thread, I personally posted I had installed and tested it, and deleted it, all before your thread. That does not mean you got the information from XDA, but it was definitely already being discussed and tested before you posted it, that's all.
Does anyone know if it solves the 7 edge led lighting problem?
Okay so 2 days ago samsung posted to their tab 4 updates page links for official lollipop versions for all tab 4 tablets, but there isnt downloads in links, see attached picture.
If you enter right now it says no such blog post

That's from Youmobile and they're not officially affiliated with Samsung and JosephRaphael is an XDA user. As I've said countless times, this is all speculation, nobody knows when the actual update is coming except for Samsung, and they don't really give any advanced notice. The 10.1 update started rolling out all of a sudden back in mid-May. Any guesses to when the 7.0 and 8.0 roll out (if they do :fingers-crossed are just that, guesses.
But its just missleading when theres links for all versions of tablets but no download in post....

Since we need thread about latest development of Marshmallow update for S6 and S6 Edge, and last one got closed... please keep this one by the rules.
By checking 20min ago with SamFirm for DTM CSC i got info that 6.0.1 is up, but when i clicked to download it turned back to...
"Checking firmware for SM-G920F/DTM/G920FXXU3DPAD/G920FDDX3DPAF/G920FXXU3DPAJ
Error: Could not send BinaryInform. Status code 200/400
Request was invalid. Are you sure the input data is correct?"
and 5.1.1 again. Looks like they are getting it ready.
.
Hope this thread could be kept clean.. Also the other user claims that he checked the samfirm for PHN and got this for s6 edge;
Checking firmware for SM-G925F/PHN/G925FXXU3DPAD/G925FDDX3DPAF/G925FXXU3DPAJ
Model: SM-G925F
Version: G925FXXU3DPAD/G925FDDX3DPAF/G925FXXU3DPAJ
OS: MarshMallow(Android 6.0.1)
According to him, update dissappeared suddenly.
That DTM error has been there since last week, it's not new

I saw the same but for G920F and DTM.

Germany has been a lot of time the first European country to get Samsung updates, so that could be the case again.
Nevermind, thanks @thegtfusion for clarification

5 minutes ago it showed the COI9 5.1.1 firmware correctly. Something is happening in the servers.

The new message is a programming error.

Ofc it is a programming error. The update points to the old FW which is no longer available. So yeah something is definitly going on.

Does anyone else apart from this guy here see anything wrong with this thread?
There's already a thread about MM releasing.

None-the-less, this one's a duplicate.
Stop branching MM discussions; it's confusing as it is. We don't need another MM thread speculating its release date.

This one is simply to tell people when MM drops, nothing else. The thread you've linked to is a general Marshmallow thread in which people discuss everything under the sun. Why should you worry if there are two distinct threads?

Directly replying to your concerns, there's a thread already opened specifically for MM release. http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s6/general/official-marshmallow-released-t3315637
This one just mimics the former, dividing discussion into two separate threads. Read, and adhere to the forum rules.

Hello! I got the ze551kl Z00TD Asus zenfone 2 Laser about 5-6 months ago when they came out in the US and I have been using CM13 and now Resurrection Remix M since they first came out.
My questions are: Does CM13/RR:M update your baseband? If not, has there been any updates to the baseband in the past 3-4 months? (or any other software updates that CM13/RR:M may not update for me.) How would I go about finding/updating to the latest baseband? Any help with this would be appreciated, thanks! ^.^
Edit: Forgot to put my baseband version. It's 202c10_10.0.0_151106
Why don't you post your baseband and we'll compare...
Ah right, I forgot the important bit huh. oops o.o Baseband version 202c10_10.0.0_151106

Hang on, I am uploading flashable zips of "firmware-update" package (which includes modem/baseband) of all variants. You will soon see a thread for modems.
And sorry @HampTheToker , you suggested me to do this weeks ago
Edit: it will take 1-2 hrs for uploading. The modem collection sums up to 3gb
And please don't bump general forum with q&a/help/requests. You should have posted this under Q&A forum
