Has anyone else's Samsung Task Manager after the Lollipop OTA update?
I'd like to recover the original Samsung app vs installing a 3rd party task manager
I also tried looking in the galaxy apps store, but there is no factory app listed
thanks
If you hold down your home button for the recent apps, the task manager is right there.

hey...
i have international rooted gs2..
every time after i install an app, the same spam wanting me to download some netqin virus security keeps coming up!
any suggestions or instructions on how to remove this?
help will be greatly appreciated.
Try to figure out what program you installed right before this happened, then install titanium backup and remove it.
That would be this app:

Either uninstall anything that mentions it from settings -> Applications -> Manage, or flash a custom firmware that isn't full of bloatware.
If you've installed an app called "Android Booster" from the same company, then that might be the culprit.
It might be any of these apps too:

Googling "android netqin" turned all this up.
Just thought i share something I found while playing with stock App Manager and TB. I like to stay stock and just freeze the bloat and as we all know that's why we all buy TB . I only found this after using TB to freeze and saw the apps at the bottom of the Ap Manager list as disabled and when I clicked saw the enable button.
So if your cheap and don't want to buy TB the stock App Manager found in settings can disable bloat on its own without the need for TB. Just go to the app you want to disable uninstall the update it may have and the button will change from Uninstall to Disable/Enable.
I know most here propabley already know this but can't hurt to share:laugh:
I have a Verizon Galaxy S4 and I installed some of the Note 4 Apps that happen to leak. But now that I want to delete the Note 4 task manager app, I don't know how to do it... I tried deleting the apk file but nothing happened... Someone help...

Hi,
i bought the go task manager ex from the store.
I don't know how to stop apps from auto starting and running in the background.
I tried to do it but the same apps would still auto start and i would always
disable them and after the reboot they were again shown in task manager as running.
can someone please help me?
Is it possible to change menu button to a recent app button on a i9505 value edition?
I'd like to stay stock, necessary to root?
Thanks

Root and xposed.
Otherwise custom rom.
PS: the value edition is an I9515.
xposed on touchwiz is not recommended by it's creators. you'd at least also want a custom recovery and a nandroid backup and an xposed uninstaller zip in preparedness...
I use an app called bar launcher so that I can have certain apps always within reach in the notifications drop-down. one of the apps I have there is called recent apps which unsurprisingly launches recent apps. I take you want to avoid wearing out your home button...
