How to delete unwanted spam?!! - Galaxy S II General

hey...
i have international rooted gs2..
every time after i install an app, the same spam wanting me to download some netqin virus security keeps coming up!
any suggestions or instructions on how to remove this?
help will be greatly appreciated.

Try to figure out what program you installed right before this happened, then install titanium backup and remove it.

That would be this app:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.nqmobile.antivirus20&hl=en
Either uninstall anything that mentions it from settings -> Applications -> Manage, or flash a custom firmware that isn't full of bloatware.
If you've installed an app called "Android Booster" from the same company, then that might be the culprit.
It might be any of these apps too:
https://market.android.com/developer?pub=NetQin+Mobile+Inc.
Googling "android netqin" turned all this up.

Restored with Backup for Root, but some apps are missing and I can't redownload them

I just ran "Backup for Root Users" on Cyanogen 4.0.4, then upgraded to Cyanogen 4.2.1 and ran the restore option. It seems to have done a pretty admirable job, but there are some apps missing and I can't figure out how to download them from the Market again.
If I look in my phone's Application manager, it says they're not installed, but if I go onto the Market it says that they are installed. When I click on one of these missing apps in the Market, there are "Open" and "Uninstall" buttons on the bottom but they're grayed out and disabled.
What can I do to get my apps back?
I am having the same problem, anyone know what to do??

Install Non-Market apps?

I want to try the Swype Beta, but it won't install because it is not from the market. Any suggestions?
Its an option under apps to add non market apps I'm not certain just go through settings by the way Google helps with simple questions that's how I found out when I first got my first android phone
It's actually under the security tab. Near the bottom. unknown sources.
Thanks guys. Got it installed.

BEFORE READING, MAKE A BACKUP PRIOR TO THIS ANSWER:
I'm sorry to say, but it would need to be done using the file manager via TWRP. It is a lil tricky because it lacks concise deletion. So it is best to use a rooted file explorer (es file explorer is beneficial for this) and look around these locations:
/system/app
/system/priv-app
/oem/app
/oem/priv-app
Each folder holding the apk must be deleted individually in TWRP's file manager, or you WILL face a possible soft-brick.
Good luck.
(The reason why is, because the oem section is more secure to avoid a break of the phone itself, so it will freeze everytime while the actual OS is in use. Doing it via TWRP ensures deletion and avoiding a freeze bc the recovery OS is different from stock OS)

remove malware help

Hey guys all the browsers on my s8 are infected with a pop up redirecting malware. I delete the cash delete and reinstall the browsers and it didn't fix it. I used an anti-virus and a malware remover and they didn't detect anything. Help me please
Try to uninstall all third party apps that you may have installed yourself.
If this resolves the issue, just install what you are fully aware is safe.
If you are installing APK's outside of Google Play without experience then you are asking for trouble.
APKMirror is the only site I deem safe when it comes to downloading APK's.
If you can't remove the "malware" by following my steps above, my only other suggestion is that you attempt to backup your files onto a computer (LEAVE he APK's) and do a factory reset either through settings if possible and if not, use the recovery button combination and format /data
***YOU WILL LOOSE DATA IF NOT BACKED UP*** This includes old messages etc, if there's something important inside of an app such as notes, make a backup elsewhere.
Scroll all the way down in you settings / app list and there you most likely will find an app without a logo or name. Just delete this and your phone will be malware free. (at least that's what I did last week)

Debloat P9 Lite

Hello,
I want to debloat my P9 Lite from apps like Youtube etc. I used the approach from a video called "Remove ALL Bloatware from any Android Smartphone without Root" (cannot post link)
Bringing my phone into debug mode and installing adb all went fine. However, when I start Debloater (version 4.0) -- it shows me the correct serial number and battery status, though -- the model gets called "generic_a15" in Debloater. Furthermore, no package is listed when I click "Read Device Packages".
Does somebody know how I can resolve this issue? Thank you very much for your attention!

Hi,
i never used that method, so
just my thought...
Maybe you have to try to reboot your device in fastboot mode,
then try to launch the debloater and see if it shows you packages.
Regards
Downloaded and installed, also not working.
Any other method to remove unwanted apps?

Installing a custom ROM usually brings a series of benefits including that
of not having bloatweres so it is my main recommendation.
On the other hand, manually, with superuser permissions and a root app manager,
you can uninstall all the applications you want, but you must pay attention to what you touch,
the system could become unstable (google apps). Do some research before venturing.
Making a Nandroid backup before starting is almost mandatory, always recommended.
Good luck
Installing custom roms is nice But simple huawei backup and restore for stuffs is so much easier than some third party app to do.
I would so easy install some of the many custom roms But eui is so easy and works.....

Excuse me I probably did not grasp the juice of the speech.
I have already answered for what I know, custom roms or manual uninstallations of what you do not want.
Another way would be to freeze / disable unwanted apps ... the device will be grateful ..
Dear use @ to quote.
Best regards
