Not a SOAK test,

What do you guys think?

Looks promising. Here's to hoping Verizon won't take forever and a day to put their bloatware into the update assuming Motorola has even given them the update.
Finally some progress
Well, this is some step in the forward direction.
Hopefully one more month then for VZ to add bloatware and another for testing and soak test?
better yet, 5.1 is rolling out now. hope we get it on droid maxx
I left Verizon for at&t recently and still using the droid maxx. Does anyone know if I'll still get ota updates?
OTA updates are only checking your SW version, modifications, etc. It does not depend on whose SIM card you're using. I'm using the DROID RAZR MAXX HD in Europe with whatever carrier and I got OTA updates when they came out.

page plus droid x conference calls
Hi everyone!
I have the droid x and am using it on page plus. I have been trying to make a conference call all day. I have followed the instructions in the droid x user guide but I just cannot seem to get it to work. I see you have a droid x on page plus and was hoping maybe you can tell me how.
Angie
i dont understand?
how can you keep root if you did the OTA GB update?
...an article I found on the 'net listing supposed "official leaked" information about the timeframe for us RHD/RHDMaxx users (and other Motorolas) getting the new 4.2.2 version of Android. LIke one of the comments states, it's interesting that there is a timeframe to update software that we haven't even received as an update yet
Also it talks about a Nexus Motorola... possible next phone purchase?
http://androidcommunity.com/rumor-m...-nexus-and-android-4-2-key-lime-pie-20121024/
2013?
You noticed that, eh?
Keep in mind that we haven't even received the 4.1 update yet, and if it's true about the RAZR X and the Motorola Nexus, our phones are already outdated, tech-development-wise. I was just happy that eventually it will be coming... eventually the key word...
Man I hope the moto nexus is true and unlocked!!!

Really - that is what I want. Razr Nexus. With LTE. On Verizon. With SD support.
Nexus won't be with sd support... Google want you to buy everything on the play store...
Older razr's are getting JB right now!

Well, to be fair: the soak test for the original Razr was way before the soak test of the Razr i retail.en.gb (soak test for og Razr was around Christmas 2012).

Also much less work as its ARM.
I'm hoping (probably in vain) that we also get an update to "Key Lime" since Motorola now belongs to Google. But let's face it. Since our wonderful phones don't have much development happening, x86 might just die as a smartphone architecture.

Well, Intel announced a new dual-core x86 processor and a few new phones so I don't think it's going to die anytime soon...
I saw too the new processor. A dual-core that reaches 21400 points in benchmark... Very surpresely.
I think motorola won't update RAZR's to 4.2.1... It's just waste of time and work. They'll probably focus everything in Key Lime Pie and then completely forget the today RAZRs to new ones. Don't expect too much from them too. As the link says, maybe in the end of 2013.
Uhm, no. The Razr HD will get 4.2.x I was told so they won't forget about at least one Razr family member.

Are they really going to do a soak test or are they going to skip it like they did for the VZW one? I'm still not sure why they skipped it, but I'm glad that I got it and it seems to work just fine.
Also the new play store version of wallet works fine on my phone(says tap to pay is a go, haven't tried to buy anything yet).
In find it funny that you posted that there is a soak test when the rules specifically imply not to...

Good call. It really hurt us Verizon folks when someone did that to our soak test. They punished us and gave it to everyone the next day

The NDA pertains to the details of the soak test and not to the existence of, additionally, unless I am mistaken, I haven't agreed to an NDA yet. Furthermore, there has been threads for every soak test released and with the exception of the latest Verizon (which someone had linked to the official forums from) they have mostly gone on as scheduled.
Just curious if you posted this in every other soak test thread... There are plenty out there.

Just saw that. Now trying to figure out what I want to do when (if) it goes through. stay and play with what I got or hope for the best with all the future holds.
Luckily my wife runs a stock MotoX so I'll be able to see what it's like if I really want to jump on.
Figures use Canadians have to wait longer ops forgot I'm already running kitkat:beer:
