They're just from different regions, though you can't get the ota's from other countries. You can use any one

There is nothing official, because LG don't provide any real form of Changelogs - particularly where bugs are concerned.
For the d802 OPEN versions, the 4 builds are something like this:
20A - very buggy and replaced quickly by 20B - Forget it. We have.
20B - left hand channel audio problems on SOME hardware.
20C - audio problems gone
20A, 20B, 20C - "Bluetooth using battery" reporting error present.
20D - Knock code added and "Bluetooth using battery" reporting fixed. Battery drain increased from 20C.
There may be other funnies, of course.
Every Open EUR version is binary identical to the others (GB/ES/PT/DE etc.)
Personally, I use 20C on the Stock phone as it is the "least problematic". That doesn't mean it is so for everyone and every phone hardware version.
Also note that these are MY observations only. I have built the flashable versions of all the above (except the flaky 20A) as found in the 802 development forum.
I'm using 20C now and it's pretty sexy
(V10c, fixes stagefright) This is for the taiwan H815, so probably if you bought it from ebay (tropical mobile, never msrp)
1. Flash 10C KDZ first
2. flash root w/ this image

Mr. Ixrs, thank U!
I'm downloading~
Do U know how to install twrp recovery in this rom?
I've tried use play store, but it doesn't work...
Why is it necessary to flash the 10c KDz first?
Im on the H815 10f rooted system image for all H815 variants posted here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/h815-10f-rooted-img-t3184363
I flashed that 10f over the SEA 10b rooted image and all is fine. However I lost exfat.
I'm hoping, that this TWN10c version is essentially the Asian version of the H815 10f and, that I can flash this version over the H815 10f to regain exfat support.
Still...Im not quite sure why its necessary to first flash the 10c KDZ

Most people don't actually have to, but for some reason I was getting boot up errors until I did. This is the same version as 10F, you get the stagefright fixes (and exfat too!) as well as the slow mo camera, and all the touch improvements.

You're mixing systems up. Probably not a big deal, but it's not keeping everything the same. The 10F line of images if not for the Asian 815 devices. I would advise you update to 10C official update (from OP) then root using OP files.
10F and 10C are at the same level as far as Android is concerned. The difference in versions is carrier updates etc.

I was talking about the TWN (Taiwan) version that I have, but I think the SEA is in the same situation.

Nope, it's for the TWN version. But I think the SEA and TWN are basically the same system.

Gonna do a little more research before I flash and possibly brick my phone, unless any other SEA users can confirm it does work.
Thanks for your help!

I think the SEA version is for the Singapore version.
See the "Buyer" column in this link
http://devtester.ro/projects/lg-firmwares/country.php?country=Singapore
Based on the link above from devtester, there doesn't seem to be any 10C for the SEA version, nor any 'official' Live Date just yet
As compared to the Taiwan version where the live date and 10C firmware already available for download here:
http://devtester.ro/projects/lg-firmwares/country.php?country=Taiwan
Is this flashed in the same way as in the Low Effort Root (with the same seek and count as in the Int'l 815 dd command) or in some other way? (I'm already rooted by that method.)

Yup, same exact way.
anyone know how to install TWRP on TWN device? still locked?
stupid question, but how to flash the rootedsystem.img ?
Hello Everybody,
I bought a Yotaphone 2 model YD206 at Gearbest. The Smartphone arrived with Android KitKat, I used for some time and it was OK, but after updating to Android 5 ROM CN it started getting too hot while casual using such as Facebook, E-mail, Whatsapp.
Is that normal? I expected that it could get warm only while playing games or using GPS, but for my surprise it is getting too hot only for normal usage.
Is there anyone who get the same problem? If I change to another rom such RU or EU can solve the problem?
I already root the phone and also installed xposed together with L Speed to see if the problem persists, but it is still happening.
Thanks in advance!
Is there a chinese version of Lollipop?
Anyway, I see many people like you complaining about the phone getting hot after an upgrade. My guess is that its related to the baseband version. Since your model is YD206, are you sure you have flashed the correct chinese baseband with this so-called CN firmware (isn't it HK? Isn't it for YD201 models?)?

Yes, the model before updating was YD206 CN and after flashing to Android 5 it changed to YD201 HK 1.124d.
Is there a CN firmware running Android 5? I only found HK. Maybe this is the reason it is getting hot, the baseband / radio from these versions are different, can it be?
Yeah, I would definitely flash the YD206 baseband.
In this thread here (https://forum.xda-developers.com/yotaphone-one/help/guide-everything-to-yotaphone2-t3547194), there's a revamped version of the YotaFlasher attached to the first post. With this one, it is possible to select what to flash individually to the device, i.e, whether system+radio+userdata, or only system, or only radio etc. With that you can choose to flash only the radio files from YD206 firmwares.
Use this reworked YotaFlasher, download any chinese Kitkat firmware and make sure to allow to flash only the radio binaries when prompted.

Great! With this I can flash only the radio files fomr YD206 firmware. Thanks a lot!
I will do this process and reply with the results in the next hours.
Hey, can anyone provide and confirm which version of the stock firmware fits EU devices best? I bought used device with custom rom on it, and I'm curious which version should be base for my EU (german) device to get legit OTAs and security updates for my region? I'm a bit confused, because I couldn't find any proper adnotation for each firmware out there.
In other words, which stock rom versions will be suitable for European retEU XT1685 Moto G5 Plus? I don't want to mess something up if some stock firmwares are not meant to be flashed on EU device.
Please cleanse my concerns.
Cheers!
Mine is running NPNS25.137-33-5 also on reteu

I see, so you started from flat NPNS25.137-33? How about the -67 version on EU devices, as it fixes some issues ie with camera recording?
Thats only on retin, this is the latest on reteu.
Hmm I installed myself -35 version before, in settings i had retEU, but couldn't get any ota updates and was on january securities.
Up
I'm currently running on lineage os 15.1,the room is great but it's draining battery as hell, and sound is not that great! If you install last update is the room support gacm? Natively ? thanks ,and sorry for my bad English
no
Maybe? It have stock cam, that is very good. But you should try it
someone on a different forum tried the gcam port and tried to use it on b04. they reported back it did not work. so it's not enabled to work natively. flashing @raystef66's .zip could work but I don't know if the system partition is writeable. I asked in the main B04 thread we have now and nobody answered so far.
I'm so confused about the bootsector updates, b04, b11, if BO4 is the newest why are there later numbers released before b11, b20? Are those just for different countries?
Is the B04 only been released for the 2017g and not the 2017u model yet? only for germany and not for the US yet?

They are from different countries and use other version numbers. Oreo B04 is the latest for the A2017G which is the European version of the phone.
A2017U is the US version and Oreo B20 is the latest for that one. That doesn't mean the US version is the newest just because it has a higher number. As i said, they europe and US use different numbers naming them.
