Not possible unless boot loader gets cracked.

Xperia X8 custom ROM
I want to add proxy support for Wi Fi on this phone,
after rooting the phone , it is asking for ip tables on my ROM,
one more thing is the boot loader of Xperia X10 cracked ?

Im sure people are working on it, but none has succeeded so far as to my knowledge.

Thanks!! Its great to have alternatives roms =) i dont like so much the Original ROM.

erm.. it's 100% percent possible, almost every1 did it, go to google and search for the roms. u need to install xrecover and root explorer 1st

Take look after Ginger 2.3.5, download move to SD card, make sure you have xRecovery installed as well and proceed, but easy for u is to use on YouTube on your computer few movies about install new room ...good luck!

Install the PC Companion, as it also installs all the drivers you need.
And: don´t plug the phone and click root, just click the button without having your X8 connected, then wait until it says "waiting for device" and then plug it.

problems in instalation of busybox and xrecovery
hey guys...... i jst rooted my x8...... but now to get 2.3.3 u need to install busybox and xrecovery.. but when i try to do so... derez a error sayin... dese files cannot be pasted here because dey r read only..... PLZZZZZ HELP:confused

Only if your using cw auto recovery, when I go to flash it it says its a Vodaphone firmware.... hmm,,,,
Edit: Flashed and am booting now... (not on my R800x, using my R800at)

Unfortunately it's the same launcher... same widgets... same apps.. even the boot animation is the same SONY ERICSSON and not XPERIA....

I can confirm, only update was the baseband. Side note... is it possible to see if this is time stamped? Id like to know how long Sony has been sitting on this thing

At one point DoomLord had a means of seeing how old the ROM was... when it was signed.

maybe it is a pre-upgrade to ics or jb that leaves everything more advisable to make the jump

i think that was another error from sony
oh god , i wish i could hate sony ...
2 years passed that i'm waiting for xperia play 2 , but now ... sony playing game with us !!

As I have written earlier in the other thread, we shouldn't get our hopes up. This new fw should only fix timescape, and is a pretty useless upgrade imo... Screw Sony

Any battery life improvements in this update ?

the timescape can be updated with google play, or if you want search in google play, timascape facebook extension

I have been testing the new baseband on the T-Mobile network in the netherlands (wich is known for bad internet connections).
While it does feel like it loads pages on more places i have been seeing more missing pictures while using this baseband then on the older 36 baseband.

I have Samsung Galaxy y Duos S6102 i download and install chainfire 3D after that i install drivers and my device reboot ... After that my cellphone
stuck on samsung logo. What should i do? Please help me...........

actually i have my xperia u and one day it also stuck on sony logo its because my system was deleted.... that's why it only shows logo because it has nothing inside i don't know if it is true but your phone has been softbrick you can fix it with flashtool but again i am not sure about it.......

How to use the flashtool? Please ..

Actually I only know how to use flashtool on Sony xperia device
But you can search it on Google I am sure there will be some guide

You can use ODIN.
Choose the firmware package from your region.....

Xperia E4 FULL ROOT ACCESS

Well after spending a lot of time on this phone I managed to get full root access
Instructions :
Download Kingo (Search good due I can't post any link.)
Install and run kingo.
Now just connect your phone in debugging mode at your pc.(How to find debug more? Look the pictures below!)
Press "ROOT" on the Kingo program and let it until it says "Root was successfully"
After that just see a small tune you can do to your mediatek processor!
You're done,now your have full root access!! Have fun!!
(AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU BREAK DOWN YOUR PHONE!MAKE IT WITH YOUR OWN RISK!!)

I love custom roms, and i hate bloatwares. (in this phone is too many...)

you really need no video for it

Thank you! I did it, and works! Now it writes programs to the sd card! Its fantastic! Now we are waiting for a new rom! :angel:

Don't worry! I suggest a light 4.4.4 neither the Lolipop 5.X.X because it has a lot of bugs!!

New ROM
I created a poll for the Xperia E4 users or now called "admins" choose what ROM they want!
I am trying on the 4.4.4 right now, for a light version of it!! Any help would be grateful!! :highfive:

"No OS installed" in my sony xperia m dual c2005

I tried to restore my sony xperia m dual c2005. But it didn't go well because I removed the battery when the xperia flames got stucked. Then I installed "twrp" in my phone using my computer. When I pressed power off from twrp It showed a message "NO OS INSTALLED". I got stunned. Can anybody please tell me any idea to resolve my issue? Do I need to install any new OS in my phone? How can I do it? Please suggest me any video tutorial if possible.. Please help me....

hello look what comes to mind is to install through the flashtool do a clean install and may your problem is solved greetings you need flashtool the last version
