2.1.B.0.1 update released

Just updated via SEUS. I noticed that the current baseband is 2.1.67. Any information about this? I wasn't able to find something on google and the search also returned nothing.
If there is no information, how do I dump it (I have not had the time to read into android development yet)?

What ?! There is no baseband like that. Is GB already out ? Can you get a screen shot of about phone ?

Yes, that sounds like Gingerbread update. Please post screen shots or at least post what it says in "about phone" in "settings".
Edit: from screen shot this appears to be another 2.1 update.

OK looks like a new firmware. Can you upload the decrypted files or just upload the larger 2 files from Sony Ericsson\Update Service\db\13740270\blob_fs ?

Yeah another 2.1, but haven't heard of BB 67.... weird.... which is your contry and operator??

Can somebody post a "ls" of system/bin/ from an older stock rom please?

What firmware version and baseband were you running when you got the update notification? Global Generic?

I got no notification. I was trying to get wifi on CM7 to work and messed up basebands (baseband: unknown).
I tried to recover with SEUS and the first time it failed. Phone powered off after boot-animation. The second time it worked fine.
About changes:
Did not try nothing, cause I am not interested in 2.1 very much.
Full list of files I pulled is attached.

- some system apps got new names , e.g. home launcher
- calendar has changed (no pink colors anymore)

can it still be rooted?

New calander is pretty cool. It now shows general events like public holidays, unless I just never noticed them before. There's also some new things in Timescape.
Rooted fine via flashtool.

Hi friends, Im new in this and need advice, should I buy x10i prototype, price is 50 euro lower then original x10
is there some difrenties beetwen prototype and original, i tried the pohone, camera seems to far from 8mp
I tried to do update but I cant, firmware 1.6 but only update trough SEMC network
can somenone please help,tommorow i must return phone or buy it

dont buy it
you wont be able to update to GB or any customs roms here.

How can I see if my x10 is a prototype?
So if it is one, I cant use Custom Roms?
Because i had a Flash problem.... thought is caused by flashtool :/ I will try again in a few days with newest version if flashtool l...
However if my phone is that prototype i dont need tk try :/

but if you have some error in flashtool post here. We could help you then. Mostly likely it wont be prototype or else you can use any custom roms on prototype

Also if you are running 2.1 or 2.3.3 firmware then you are surely not with a prototype phone

sony update service

sony update service will no longer be around, it's closeing it's doors very soon, so the only way to update is flashtool or sony pc compaion,
just a little info, hope i havent wasted a tread for this , regards joe
and youtube live is available on playstore for z1 works well, but your device might get a bit warm while in use,

I am not worried, I have never used it and I wont miss it.

PC Companion + Flashtool are enough.

I have good memories with Ex. SEUS, i will miss it a lot.
Nothing can replace sus, it's iconic.

Pccompanion was always better. In S(E)US you could only download the files with a locked bootloader, at least with pccompanion it allows you to download the files then stops at the installation part with an unlocked bootloader. This lets you make the FTF file and flash it anyway. So much easier.....

When I was using SEUS pc companion didn't exist.
SEUS have sentimental worth, you cannot understand that if you didn't use Sony Ericsson in last 6-7 years

My program doesn't need anything from the users, it gets the official FILE_* from Sony's Update servers. You can create any FTF you want with them. I've got some private complementary programs that search for new CDFs and new releases automatically. The CDA numbers will be stored on my own servers along with Release information (because Sony removes old releases from the update, but the actual files are still on the server, which means any release before I started to build this program are probably gone forever).

I was just pointing out that our programs use different approaches. I do the updating manually using my own automatic tools.
That guys actually relies on the community to provide ready-to-use FTFs hosted on public sharing sites.

You have just Xpeira E4 Dual thats why it has the B letter!
