Im using aamsung galaxy note3 sm-n9005.......and i suddenly i got into an issue....i cannot receive or send calls......i checked the sim card in another phone and worked flawlessly.......its not the problem of sim card.....i cant figure out what the problem maybe......when i try call it says network not registered....i have tried searching for network and all but of no use......can anyone help..??

Seems like you manually selected IDEA network. Try changing to automatic mode. Also set network mode to auto connect. You for sure are using IDEA sim, right?

i have the same issue but only in wcdma mode (h, h ,3g). if i choose gsm only it connects to network can make calls, sms and net too. checked with two sims no chance.
i have done every thing to fix it but nothing helped me.
restored efs and nv backup.
downgraded to kk.
changed modem.
nothing helped
i have saw ur screen shot and found my device have a small problem and its highlighted.
in wcdma i can see signals can get emergency calls. but nothing else at all
help is gretly appreciate.
i cant see any 1 s. why

check the product code of your phone.
also check the csc code
i had exactly the same problem with an s3
i check and.try so many modems.and.different csc
Compare the product code and imei in the phone with that under the battery not the box

The product code on my s3 was GT-I9300MBDO2U when I unlocked and degraded the phone using z3x when I plugged the phone into lies it said phone not supported. I changed the product code to GT-I9300MBDBTU using the z3x box, I kept the imei and s/n original as on the sticker under the battery. Now when I plug the phone into kies the phone is recognised and will update as normal. I've also done the same to my I9505 which was on orange.

After flashing beans rom I completely lost 4G and have been unable to get it back for about 2 months now no matter which rom I'm on I even updated to the kitkat leak and still no 4G any ideas what I can do to fix this any helps appreciated

*#*#4636#*#* you can find CDMA only and other types of CDMA there and I heard that S GS3 has the ability to run both CDMA and GSM. Your settings are wrong you just need to fix them

Thanks for the info and yeah I downloaded an app called 4G enabler and I do have the option for GSM but I will definitely let you know if this works
Edit: tried dialing that and it just says welcome to Verizon wireless nothing seems to be going my way haha

Currently running ricks rom when I go to access my test menu to change from CDMA to GSM it says menu unavailable so I'm guessing I'll just Odin back to stock again and see if I can fix the problem from there

After hours of trying I finally got into my settings after using Odin to go back to stock and reflashing the kk leak as far as I can see my settings are fine and no one else is experiencing this problem on stock 4.3 I have 4g but after flashing any rom I lose it

I changed my phone from Samsung Galaxy S5 i9500 to Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005 unlocked version today. I had no issues using mobile data on galaxy s4, but after putting the SIM in note 3 everything works fine, except mobile data. I'm unable to connect to mobile data.

You purchased online? Your phone is rooted? There is many European phone with regional lock, unlocked changing imei, check your imei dialing *#06#, compare with number under battery.

I purchased it from a shop, and it is not rooted. I checked the IMEI and it has not been changed. Everything except mobile data works fine.

Do you have the correct apn data settings, tried with a friends simcard if you get data then. Maybe request a new simcard from your provider.
What software version do you have, type *#1234#in the phone dialer to see that.
I put my SIM in another phone and mobile data works fine. Tried the note 3 using my friend's SIM, but still no data connection.
Checked the phone's firmware and I found that it is a HONG KONG version of the note 3. Any issues for this version ?

I was attempting to update my PRL, Profile, Samsung Software, and firmware, and for all of these i received this error message: Error: Connection Error 6620. I had tried placing the phone on and off of airplane mode, turning mobile date off and then on, and restarting the phone. None of these resolved the problem. i had read that dialing ##72786# can resolve this issue. I tried that, and now my phone has no service at all. My phone keeps attempting to do the hands free activation and failing with an error message that says "Sorry - we experienced a system problem during your task. Please dial *2 from your Sprint phone or call Customer Care at 1-888-211-4727 from another phone to complete your task.
Im here in philippines, using Globe cariier, after i do that my phone works perfect.. what sould i do?

Was the phone flashed to your carrier? If so that dialer code may have borked some of the flash I had a et4g and when I did that I lost all data, I could make calls tho

72786 is a code to reset data settings. Erases your account from the device hence why it's doing a hands free activation. If you are on sprint you should be fine but if the phone has been unlocked you've just erased all steps done to get service from another provider. If not unlocked phone you just may have a bad sim card and need a new one.

Yeah sounds like you wiped out the unlock on it.
My et4g did it. My only savior was that I was using boost and it's a sprint network do I could fix it to make calls through dialer codes without a reflash

Hi guys please help me. I've been stuck for a week now and I jus cant seem to find a solution anywhere online. I've tried everything. Last week I flashed Tencent OS and it caused me to lose my network. After that I tried restoring efs backup but it caused my i9500 to go onto a bootloop. I struggled for a week to get out of the bootloop but I eventually did but now my imei is changed to the generic 0049 imei number. I've searched everywhere and tried all kinds of solutions but I jus cant seem to get it to work. I have an efs img backup from last year March that I've always kept safe but it doesn't work when I restore it. The only solution I haven't tried is efs professional because for some reason my laptop doesn't detect my phone when I want to perform adb actions. I can't even get into mass storage mode. I can only connect to Odin on my laptop. I've tried everything but I jus cant get it to work. Please help .

Have you tried nvwriter? Not sure if it will work on your phone.

Hey I haven't got am imei backup unfortunately. I haven't tried nv writer yet. Have you got any other solutions? I would've taken it to a technician but I know they don't have repair boxes here in South Africa
