Trouble connecting Mobile Data

I changed my phone from Samsung Galaxy S5 i9500 to Galaxy Note 3 SM-N9005 unlocked version today. I had no issues using mobile data on galaxy s4, but after putting the SIM in note 3 everything works fine, except mobile data. I'm unable to connect to mobile data.

You purchased online? Your phone is rooted? There is many European phone with regional lock, unlocked changing imei, check your imei dialing *#06#, compare with number under battery.

I purchased it from a shop, and it is not rooted. I checked the IMEI and it has not been changed. Everything except mobile data works fine.

Do you have the correct apn data settings, tried with a friends simcard if you get data then. Maybe request a new simcard from your provider.
What software version do you have, type *#1234#in the phone dialer to see that.

I put my SIM in another phone and mobile data works fine. Tried the note 3 using my friend's SIM, but still no data connection.
Checked the phone's firmware and I found that it is a HONG KONG version of the note 3. Any issues for this version ?

Galaxy note 3 problem

Hey guys i Just buy used sm n9005.
I noticed at home that imei and SN numbers on box and sticker under battery are same but soft say other on phone info. My note 3 working good and log into network i can call sms etc.
Should i care?
I get jig if IT will help.

Need to determine if software has changed, or if anything has been done to the device,
brand new?
Refurb?
Used?
Stock OS?
so many reasons..
For now, I wouldn't JTAG or try anything until you've established why it is different.

Well the sell-man did write good imei on warranty card and wrong on bill xD It used latest xeo firmware.
I get new clean warranty card so i cant know about history of that phone :/
At kies It said xxx firmware.

It's possible the retailer has refurbished it (replaced motherboard), if he has gave you a new warranty and it works, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Or you could just ask for you money back and go get one directly from Samsung

Can you post all screenshots from Phone INFO ★Samsung★ app?
And also go to the Menu > 'Refurbishment Check' and show the result?

The check result does say. Your phone has missing some important hardware info. And also your phone doesn't have "Headset Connect counter" in the USAGE HISTORY section.

Return to shop and request a refund if possible. Otherwise use it as it is, no problem.

I have no problem with my note 3 , but I want to change its imei with another device becuase my imei is blocked
so I started with following step:
1- root my sm-n9005 with Odin3 v3.09 and done ok
2- backup my efs with IMEI tool n9005 by dr. ketan to my pc

Why your imei is locked ?

No.
Changing your IMEI, for whatever reason, is illegal and a global criminal offence.
We do not support criminal acts.

I live in turkey, my friend sent this note 3 from Sweden as a gift ,I used it 2 months then locked
went to solve the problem they said must pay tax , I said no problem
but their are another rule that I must have a passport shows that my entrance to turkey must be less than one month,
I cannot go to my country,
so I purchased another samsung device from turkey 150$ (with tax) and try to change imei with it

Asking for IMEI change is prohibited on XDA.

to the experts , is my phone unlocked ?

first i can't contact the seller because i buy it from my freind who bought it from another country ... he is a reliable seller and he always buy from him
well the phone was amazing smooth , great camera and all , just like any other galaxy S5
but one time i put my IMEI number into ( imei.info ) and boom the web cite says that this imei is for a Note 4
i cheaked the imei with *#06# and it's the same on the back of the phone
another freind say to me dial *#1234# and if the last 3 numbers from each line are the same that mean that the software isn't edited and it's official

ANOTHER WIERED THING !!!
when i put it into download mode it says product name that this is a SM-G900P
but on device info it says that this is G900F
so my questions are :
in case of realising android M by samsung will i have any problems by updating it ?
is my phone G900P or G900F ?
what is this phone and how the seller could do that ?
can i flash it just like any other phone whitout loosing the sim-unlock ?? and should i use G900P or G900F ROM ?
what is this phone and was i getting fooled by buying it ??
is it unlocked or not ? :/
i just want to undrestand this phone and learn more

If it says G900P in download mode, that's the model you have

well , then why it says that this is g900F on device info
and will i loose sim unlock if i flash it

i just notice that i can't find wifi hotspot on settings like any other s5

Have a read through the forums, there are a good few others with the same thing, G900F on device info, the box, the sticker under the battery etc, but in download mode it says a different model, and that is the correct model

Your MEID is also in Settings/About Device/Status. Not sure what help you need as every phone has this. What are you trying to do?

And sim work
But now i have just box with meid and sim not work and in setting about i have unknown basband
So i need help to make my sim work again and thx in advance

What does it say in Settings/About Device/Status? Forget the dialer code, it's not needed. I'm guessing you did something wrong if nothing changed.

Is Odin saying PASS after you flash? You have to have a PC for this. You can't just flash a stock ROM. Firmware is different. If you have done all this, have you tried a factory reset as well? I see you are still on KitKat, why not try using the latest firmware? OD2, OH1, OK3, or PI2.

and yes all work fin with odin at the end Odin say PASS
yes i try many stock firm from sammobile
and all the time same probleme
i do some shearch in the web and some say my efs is corrupted and other say i have to unlock my sim
i have no idea how to do that !!!!!!!!
my friend give me z3box to fix the probleme ,,, so now im searching some tutorial how to do that
so if you have any suggestion you are welcome
and any way thank you for your help
