Question, is it possibe in anyway to enable multi user account on 4.4.2.
My friend has this device and I tried seeing if any of you guys managed to enable it. I know it is on for CM 12 but he would like to keep all his pen features alive since he uses it for college.
He is currently rooted but not using any special recovery, he used towel root.
Thanks for reading.

Hi All,
I use a banking app called easybanking from BNP fortis in Belgium. It works on Touchwiz based roms (Omega, Echo etc...) and CM 11 but I can't get it to work on Danvdh GE rom, which is unfortunately is my favorite.
What happens is the touch screen buttons are disabled, this happens both when I do a new install or from the TB backup from a work rom, the app launches but I can't interact with it. The support team for the bank simply says they don't support rooted phones, but since TW and CM roms work, I figure there must be something specific to the GE rom, Anyone have any ideas, similar issues?
I've tried Hide my root, rootcloak (plus) but no luck.
I'd ask in the rom specific forum, but I don't have access to post
Any ideas would be welcome
Thanks
Scott
Hi Everyone,
As we all know, after updating the android from ICS to JB and to KK, we lost some wonderful features.
One is enabling the slide option before unlocking the screen (whether pattern/pin/password is used). Its present in all the Cyanogenmod based ROMS (CM 11 and CM 12). But not everyone should use the Custom Roms. Some will stay in the Stock ROM......
THIS TIP/TRICK IS FOR THE DUDES WHO WANTS TO BE ALWAYS IN STOCK. ALTHOUGH ITS FOR THE STOCK ROM USERS, BUT YOU MUST BE ROOTED TO USE THIS ON YOUR PHONE.... LOL.....
IImportant: "You must ROOT your phone before going for this"...
Prerequisites:
1. Rooted S4 Mini with KK OS
2. Have Xposed installer installed on the Phone.
Steps:
1. Properly ROOT ur S4 mini (GT I9192/90/95).
2. Install the Xposed Installer Framework.
3. Download the module attached in this post.
4. Just go to xposed installer and activate the module by selecting it, then reboot ur phone.
Thats it....
Now go to settings-->security-->choose pattern/pin/password, and set it... Lock the screen, and while unlocking you can see the slide option instead of locking screen with pattern/pin/password. You can simply slide the circle, and u r able to see the locking screen....
Actually the credit goes to Mr.Stevolk, the dev who developed this xposed module.. i am sharing this because i tried this in stock and it works flawlessly.... Some of you friends will also like this i think and i hope too..... THANKS.... and one more thing if it seems to be a old thing, please ignore this....
Hey everyone!
New user here, I just picked up a Note 4 N9810W ! Loving it so far! Rooted, installed a custom ROM, all set up and ready to go. However, I do require an app for quick switching between apps.
Previously I used to use PIE on Paranoid Android ROMs, and then later SlimPie on SlimBean roms back when I had an S3
Now, on Lollipop, my ROM did not come with any such feature. I tried a toolbox from the app store, and it works but I would much prefer something built in. Is there something such as the toolbox, PIE, or other thing I can flash to be able to very quickly switch between messaging, gmail, email, etc?
Thanks in advance!
Hello guys! fist thing, I searched for the answer on other threads but can't find what I'm looking for. Basically I'm a newbie in this sort of things, I rooted my Note 3 yesterday and now I seek for a good rom for my phone. I felt the urge to do so because I wanted to get rid of the stock apps (like chaton, s health and so on. I tried to uninstall them with system app remover but they keep coming back as soon as I turn on the Wifi) and to have more control of my device, but since there're so many roms I got a bit confused, especially when it comes to kernel stuff etc.
I want a stable rom (with a normal battery drain) which gives me the possibility to use the S-Pen (I use the stylus often for taking fast note and stuff) and NFC.
I really liked the DarkWolf rom which basically convert a note 3 into an S7, battery life is good, S pen works fine BUT seems like it comes with samsung bloatwares and NFC doesn't work.
So, is there a rom that respect my needs?? what about the kernel? which one should I use??
thanks in advance
PS. My note 3 is the N9005 model, rooted, running official Samsung android 5.0
Go for AryaMod - http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-3/development/rom-aryamod-v1-tw-lollipop-t2990920
If you by any chance don't mind about NFC then I'd go for Phronesis - http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...om-phronesis-rom-v1-0-stable-feature-t3241910
Both have solid battery life without the need of tweaking the kernel. The kernel is good out of the box.
About your problem of apps installing back then why don't just disable them from Settings- Application Manager or disable auto download updates from play store. Since your are rooted you can use a root explorer and go to /system/apps and /system/priv-app to delete them completely.
Remove bloatware via Titanium Backup Pro .
Dont confuse yourself with kernels use the one that comes with the rom .

First thanks for the reply I can overlook NFC if Phronesis is better or has additional features than Aryamod however is there something good based on marshmallow?

Marshmallow ports has lots of bugs and battery drains a bit faster than LP though not that much. I'm currently on Darklord S7 Edge Beta2 port. Though all basic things are working like Wifi, BT and Data so I can do stuff with an internet. Camera has bugs like modes are not working only the stock capture and recording.
Some bugs for marshmallow based on darklord's rom, some are already fixed in bete 2;
- Always on not working
- Sound alive not working
- Sview not working
- Some camera mode not working (hardware limited)
- Hotspot not working
- Do not disturb time setting FC
- Handwriting not working
- Direct input cant change language
I think Phronesis rom has more features since its a Note5 port with a little touch of edge feature. I'm quite happy with it overall. It's the rom I'm using when going out of town or out of the country. The thread also has a Q&A section so you can find things faster when you encounter a problem. It also has some alternatives for NFC in q&a.
Ah totally forgot about Titanium Backup. As @JJEgan said you can remove bloatware from it as well instead of manually deleting them using a root explorer.
EDIT:
Phronesis rom comes with a kernel so you don't have to worry about them. It is good out of the box without tweaking it. For Arya I forgot already, maybe it is using the stock kernel and that is the reason why you have to flash official rom first before flashing it.
Thank you bratboo and JJEgan for the help. I think I'll give a shot to Phronesis waiting for a more stable marshmallow based rom
Hey guys,
I really loved my S7 edge in the past, but with the last updates Samsung introduced some things that really bother me.
The worst things are the Samsung Members app and the "contact us" dialogue in every menu and the Volume safe warning.
Some weeks ago I decided to switch to a custom rom and found "SuperMan Rom" and "The Galaxy Project". Flashing these, I wasn't able to use Google Pay and Samsung Health anymore (even on stock). Root was always detected, even if not installed or hidden by magisk.
My Problem with these roms is, that they have built in features that I don't need and "SuperMan Rom" is discontinued...
I would like to have / make a rom which is the closest to stock possible, with all Apps which are not necessary removed and the latest version of those who are installed....and most important GPay and SHealth working.
Do you have any advice for me? I would be happy about any help!

your phone is rooted, so spay and shealth are gone. there has been talk of magisk finally finding a way to make it work, but i have yet too see it in person. youre SOL until they get that magisk thing ironed out
