I am trying to restore my bricked G2, but when I got to LG mobile support tool and select the language, it does NOT flash the KK kdz I downloaded, instead told me "Your device has the lastest software available from the LG mobile support tool. Please visit LG support website for more info..."
WHY???
FYI:
D802T Australia unlocked version, official 4.4.2 then rooted and installed Autorac which doesn't support D802T and stuck my phone at bootloop for good. Already downloaded the KK kdz. file and tools and followed this post"http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2432476"

Found any solution to this? Have the same problem, it says i have the latest software even though the software it is showing on my phone (which my phone doesnt really have) is older than the KDZ that I am trying to flash. If I force it to upgrade, it starts but gives an error at 37% every time.

Use the LG Flash Tool instead.

I tear off my set & found several things
1. My back cover, settings > Software info & booklets shows it D802, while internal plastic is labeled as D800 & Motherboard is D801 T-Mobile. Look like some company is selling T-Mobile as D802.
I read it on this forum that if flash D802 rom on T-Mobile D801, then need to reload Kernels of D801 too after flashing D802 rom. I tried flashing D801 kernel in recovery mod but it gives error "E invalid certificates" or something like this, I also tried flashing D801 stock rom, but LG Flash Tools 2014 gives error at 2% (Phone disconnection & sometime "Connection to server failed"), however, LG Flash Tools flash D802 without any issue.
Now, can someone tell me how to flash D801 kernels after flashing D802 rom? Or how can I flash stock D801 rom?

I am facing quite odd problems. please help me.
I have LG G2 D802. My software version was d80220b while when I attached my mobile with pc, pc suite notify me that d80220c is available. I upgraded. But after upgrading, touch is totally out of work. Say like below, I tap "7" & it goes to 2, 3 etc. I select say first option, it selects 4th option.
Also, one more thing, my mobile is 32gb variant, while now it's showing only 10.7gb.
Three Problems total
1. Touch totally disturbed
2. Storage reduced from 32gb to 10.75gb
3. Service Disabled (No sim is working :'(
I think it's due to some rom issue, can you please guide me or send me link for the correct ROM for my mobile?

HI Kernol,
I have done it like 5 times, I flash stock rom & hard factory reset but still same.
There was not a single touch issue in the last 2-3 weeks, but it immediately happened on OTA upgrade & on start/configuration screen

I did factory reset as soon as I find this problem after OTA done but didn't work.
Then I flashed kdz 5 times but still same issue
I downloaded 32GB rom from here

try install a custom rom
may problem ur stock g2 version or something in kernel or baseband or touch drivers

I tried many custom roms, but they are in .zip instead of kdz file
Can you please let me know how can I reload them? I am using LG Flash Tool 2014 which supports kdz only. I can stuck at configuration windows just after LG Logo. So, cannot access anything in mobile like Developer tools etc

u can't reload this at this moment
only way to fix this its only by kdz
but whats rom version u have before installing update
& u tried to flash kdz version u have in ur phone before ?

My phone had d80220b how LG PC Suite find an update d80220c & did this on my mobile.
Now, I have tried both d80220b & d80220c downloaded from links posted in last post but I am still having same problem :'(

Try to update the touch drivers, just dial 3845#*802# go to settings and then update touch firmware

Do you have a Bluetooth mouse? Or do you have a chance to connect via lg on screen phone?

Nothing was loud thinking but cant help you here anymore sorry told you everything i know
I had optimus g3 rom on my phone (had full 32gb) but i had to flash stock rom since i sent it for repires under warranty.I flashed stock kdz using lg flash tool but when i set up the software and went to the storage menu it showed as 16 gb,on the other hand when i went to the hardware information tab it showed 32gb.I tried multiple different stock kdz files but the result was also the same, i also tried updating through the lg mobile support tool and it didnt fix it, at the end i just sent them the phone.Today i got it back and installed the official 5.0.2 kdz with the flash tool, now under storage it shows up as 32 about only shows about 10 as available and everything else as taken up by system data.
Any ideas on how to get my 32 gb back and fix this?
I did make sure all the files i downloaded were for the 16 gb version

I have an lg g6 h870s brick. Trying to update it to android 9, I got stuck and did not get out of the recovery mode. Following a tutorial from the xda forum I put a wrong kdz file of a g6 h870, the phone booted but the sim card did not recognize me. Try a new update but I'm running out of brick again. Now I try to update it with lg up and starting with uppercut and it recognizes the tlf as a g6 h870 and when loading a kdz from an h870s it gives me an error saying that the dll files do not match, or something like that,
I tried to send it to Lg but when it was bought in amazon they tell me that it is from the Emirates and they do not give me support and taking advantage of the quarantine if you made me a mania I would greatly appreciate it since I am a little lost in this.

Hi everybody, first time posting here, I'm quite new in flashing devices. I tried to flash a marshmallow stock Rom on my LG G3, but I changed the motherboard (old one had dead cpu) so I bought one on Aliexpress (was working great and running KitKat 4.4.2) but I tried to flash MM 6.0 because I had no available update on my system. Now the phone is stuck on the "Firmware Update" screen (can't do factory reset and all that stuff...). My problem is : because i've changed the MB I can't know what is the MB region (the original MB was D855 FRA, the new one's iMei tells me its a Canadian D852 and apparently it's not that either). I've tried dozens of Roms and used that with LG Flash Tool 2014, LG Flash Tool 2.0.1.6, KDZ Updater (LGUP doesn't recognize the device, etc...). But I think that the main problem is that I can't find precisely my MB model and region and so, can't have the right Stock Rom for my phone so flashing always ended up failing... If someone has some knowledge about this type of situation please could you help ?
