Hi folks,
is it possible to user the fingerprint reader for unlocking the phone after updating to lollipop (with full encryption enabled)?
Thanks in advance.

Why wouldn't it be? I vote yes (haven't tried it though).

So hello, as the title sais, i´m new to the nexus 7.
I´ve recently unlocked the bootloader of it and have some questions
1.What´s getting lost, when unlocking the bootloader (except the warranty of course)?
2.If I´d relock the bootloader, would it be noticable that I´ve unlocked it before?
3.Will my nexus be bricked if I´d update it with an unlocked bootloader?
4.Has someone experienced strange things happening after unlocking the bootloader?
So that are all my questions, help would be appreciated
Thanks
Btw Sorry for my English, it´s not my native language
1. Factory data = any data from games, other apps etc. Nothing on the sdcard though.
2. I don't think it will be noticeable.
3. I don't think you can update it like this if you're on a custom kernel + ROM combo. Not sure though.
4. None so far here.
Unlocking the bootloader was possibly the wisest thing to do with your N7. It is now open to the world of development.

1. Everything on your device will be gone after unlocking the tablet.
2. No, it won't be noticeable if you relock it.
3. No, it won't brick.
4. And no again.

Thanks
Thanks to you guys,

I recently rooted my G900V and installed CM13. It works like a charm except one minor/major thing.
When using the Sim Toolkit to log on to secure websites like banks or social security websites, it appears as if the phone is unable to send a response to the website in question.
Now I've had SGS2 before on CM11 and it worked great, but after upgrading my SGS5 to CM13 I can't get it to work. I've tried contacting the operator without any meaningful feedback. Same with the banks.
As I'm a complete newbie in terms of modifying applications on Android, I turn to you guys.
Can anyone relate to the issue or provide any meaningful responses ?
Thank you so much!

Hi All,
I have recently updated my Sprint device, which had the mobile data working flawlessly before updating. Now I want to fix it and I want to flash my device to a T-Mobile firmware but I kinda lost between forums. Where should I start? Can someone outline the steps for me?
Thanks!

Start by flashing the latest T firmware to it , if that doesn't correct your data and its showing invalid sim then your device may have been re-locked which I'm seeing a lot of lately
I have SGN4 with stock Android 5.1.1. I am getting sick of the fingerprint unlock and wonder if there is any chance to get Face Unlock without installing a custom ROM? Thanks for your input.
No dont think there is any other way
As far as my knowledge is concerned, I don't think
Sad. Thanks, guys, anyways.
Hello,
I flashed my Samsung S7 edge to custom ROM, Later i decided to go with the Stock ROM and done so, but seems still the bootloader is unlocked.
I want to re-Lock by bootloader again, can some one help on how to do that ?
Thanks
What do you want to do that for ?? Leave it like this, because if you have a problem with sofware it will be easier to repair.

Thanks for the response, I have an compelling reason to do that, which is my office work profile (office emails) have stopped working because of the bootloader unlock.
Any help on how to lock back will be very helpful.
