Hi,
Can i use OTG while my note 4 is connected to TV? i want to use a mouse and a keyboard or a Controller while my phone is connected to TV.
and my mhl (it's 2.0 i guess) is slow, it has so much delay. It makes games unplayable on display, but everything is fine on my phone screen, it just has delay on my TV(delay, not low fps), my TV is 1080p.
edit: why isn't this thread getting any answers? is this anything wrong with my post?

So i bought a mini hdmi to hdmi adapter for my transformer. Fits perfectly. I connect it and the tf goes into hdmi mode, my tv flicks then says no signal. My tv is an older samsung 32 inch and only does 720p. I get no video from the tf to tv. Is the output from the tf only 1080p? I lost the tv rmote and dont know if there is something i need to switch on it. Help!

Hey all,
Just a question in regards to viability of the nexus as a computer replacement:
can you connect the nexus 7 to a 32" lcd tv screen (via hdmi) and use external keyboard\mice ? (+do the HDMI carry the sound from the device)
thinking of trowing away my pc, i almost never use it as is.. and all i require is some word processing, movie streaming and surfing the web.
what do you say? can it be done?
You can attach a keyboard via Bluetooth or via USB OTG, but there's no MHL or HDMI output on the Nexus 7. Try a search for MHL or HDMI to see a selection of discussions around media streaming, but there's no screen duplication that I've seen.
So I guess the short answer to your question is no, unless you don't mind a 7" screen for your word processing and web surfing

So the nexus 7 is not perfect after all :<
Could you recommend any other tablet with as similar as possible spec that actually supports screen duplication?
+ why didn't they just add the ability to connect to hdmi via micro usb to hdmi adapter
Hello!
Just got my Nexus 10 and I tried to connect the Mirco-HDMI out to my LG 42LD420 tv.
However, screen is all black and nothing happens. When I connect to my new PC screen HDMI port the image is mirrored instantly and it just works...
So I guess theres some new standards in Micro-HDMI that my TV doesn't support?
Just wanna clear this problem by making sure its my tv. And btw, other devices works just fine on the tv HDMI port...
Thanks for any info.
Simon
Whenever HDMI has problems it's usually HDCP that is the culprit.
Thanks! Googled some about it and I realize the problem New TV then I guess or try with some adapters to analog input...
I just ran into this the other day myself with a Samsung TV. I thought maybe it was the TV was only capable of 720p or something...
I'd get sound through from the N10, no picture though.
Also tried an MHL cable with my GNex and nothing as well.
Both devices work no problem on either of my PC monitors, and the PS3 has no problem with that cable/port on the TV.
Are there any workarounds?
My quick search indicates that it's possible that it can be cable specific? ie. Will work for some devices but not others? Does that even make sense?
hi when i connect my s4 using mhl cable to home tv and the power usb one to tvs usb port (mine is like micro usb to hdmi and from hdmi to usb its 2m high

Might be worth investing in the official MHL 2 adapter by Samsung as it supports 60Hz refresh rate it might solve your lag issues.
its delay not lag but ddint found mhl2 in here
also payed almost 70$ for taht cable!
i thought its a easy question and going to ahve a lot of answers
I have a Tegra Note 7 and I cannot get the sound to work through HDMI. I connect the tablet to the TV using a micro HDMI cable and the video is fine, but there is no audio. Any solutions for this? Tablet is stock and rooted.

That's weird since mine has always worked fine, and there weren't any special settings to change or anything. I will say that the micro-HDMI port is kinda awful, and if the cable is wiggled at all, the signal cuts out, sometimes just the audio. You may want to troubleshoot by trying another cable and seeing if you have the same problem as well as trying this cable on another device with a micro-HDMI output, if any of that is an option.
