Hi, I searched all around the net, but couldn't find what I was looking for so I'm gonna ask if a dev can do this for me
Could someone be kind enought to extract the modem (baseband) and kernel from the firmware in the title of my thread and make two flashable .zip files for modem and kernel which I can flash in recovery and easily change my kernel and baseband ?
I sure hope that someone would create something like this for the S5 as well

Hello,
I have a DE note 3, and I was wondering if any of the great devs or other nice members here could provide me with ano original MJ3 system dump that I can use to either flash from twrp or an Odin version .tar file. I would also love to get an original MJ3 modem .tar file to flash from Odin. Beanstown used to have one on his kernel and modem collection post, but that file seems to have been replaced with the MJE modem. I have MJ7 right now, but just want to flash back to MJ3 to try something out.
Since the bootloader is unlocked, I know kernels can be flashed as well. There used to be a link in Beanstown's post that pointed to where compatible T-Mobile (or at&t?) kernels could be found that could be flashed to the dev edition, but I can't seem to find that link either. Could someone also kindly point me to where I could find kernels compatible with the dev edition Verizon note 3?
I really need the .tar/zip files for MJ3 system and modem, the link to the kernels is just a plus.
Thanks to anyone kind enough that could give me the stock files for the dev edition, since a complete restore .tar doesn't exist yet.
fortunately the only one available right now is the MJE build beans put together.
there is nothing else unfortunately.
Go to the T-Mobile Note 3 section, then to Original Android Development. You will find kernels there.

download your rom
unzip and untar the file boot.img
make a tarball
and flash it with odin.
if any step above, is it strange to you, or you still have any questions, do not use custom kernel again. You are taking too big steps for your knowledge
To solve your problem now, flash your ROM. Next time, search before flash any custom thing
found my country is familiar with this modem:
i9500xxuhoc5
Israel (Cellcom) 5.0.1 I9500XXUHOC5
or
I9500XXUHOI1
I want to download the full rom and then extract only the modem and flash it
is it possible? how to do it?
found the download link but when I extract all I have is 1 file:
tar.md5
thanks so much!!
Hey are you referring to the official full rom/firmware downloaded from sammobile.com?
I know this sounds ridiculous, but I got around my modem issues by installing the official rom/firmware from the above website (thus installing the proper modem), then flashing everything I wanted from there (TWRP, custom rom, xposed, etc.)
(I couldn't find a mirror for my exact modem...... :s)
Hope this helps

Hi sorry I'm unaware of a rom named "infules v4", but I'd first would go flash stock OFW just to ascertain that its a software/modem fault, rather than a hardware fault.
For instance, me being in Australia and having an Optus sim card, I flashed the firmware package with the XXUHOJ3 Modem in it (http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/62513/I9505XXUHOJ3_I9505OPSHOJ1_OPS/).
Assuming you downloaded: (http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/download/57455/I9500XXUHOI1_I9500OJKHOI1_CEL/);
Open up ODIN and load the firmware to PDA/AP (depending on which version of ODIN you've got).
From there you can root, flash twrp, install "infules v4", and whatever other goodness you like
Note: Just whatever you do, make sure you do a nandroid backup prior
someone please make a flashable easyimage zip file for solving volte issue whithout the need of flashing stock mm firmware
flashable easyimage zip will solve the issue for most people
then it will be more easy to solve volte issue
hope someone among the devs will look into this and will make a flashable easy image zip for different regions
thanx in advance
