You need a G900T rom for a G900T phone, not the G900F.

o i thought i can use the 900f DBT firmware!
So is there a 900t rom outthere without that tmobile stuff?
Try to use a custom rom (e.g.: Omega)
the T stands for tmobile, youde have to root and debloat maybe, or use custom

Hi, recently I purchased a Galaxy S5 on ebay, I intended to used it on T-Mobile network, but I got a G900V... I wonder if I can just use ODIN to put G900T ROM on it (not safestrap) to enable T-Mobile features like WiFi calling etc. Do you think it will brick the phone?
Thanks!
It wouldn't even flash. The bootloader wouldn't let you.

Hi, i live in Argentina, i recently have buy it one galaxy s4 i9500 whit one rom by "Entel" and was an amazing rom, but the phone have problems with the tactile buttons after an update from samsung, the buttoms are "the back" and "tools" the light ones at the bottom of the screen, then i have installed another rom, from sammobile, and the sound, the star booting screen disappear . . . so i wanna go back to the previous rom . . . but i don't know what it is... only i remember its the logo in the star boot screen was like the intel logo, only this say Entel, and the sound its awesome, the notification sound was amazing too, like robot buttons, so please... if anyone here knows wich kind of rom is this. . .please, tell me, thank you very much.
pd: when i buy it the phone, the rom have lollipol installed.
Isn't Entel a Chilean provider?

hi, i downloaded and installed but its not Entel rom, so, i try whit the Peru rom now, thanks
Many carriers in the same country use exactly the same phone except that each carrier will sometimes add their own apps to the ROM.
In Canada, Rogers, Telus, Fido, Bell, Koodo, and Virgin all use the same s4 (sgh-i337m) and I can flash Rogers stock ROM to a Telus i337m with no problem.

Hi guys,
I was wondering if I can flash a stock Australian / International firmware on my SM-G900K ??
If so which MM 6.0 unbranded firmware would you recommend?
Reason for this is currently my SM-G900K has Korean dialpad and other branded bloatware ....
Thanks All!

Hi,
I am also really wanting to be using Aussie firmware. Sick of the Korean ads I get everytime I unlock my phone to use it. Is it possible?

Beware flashing different firmware can lead to bricked phone that you might need J-tag to bring it back to life.
But you can use the Rom of it but if its very similar hardware with some changes.
i got the galaxy s5 , there's verizon written on the back but my sim card(which is not verizon sim) works fine. for which i assume its unlocked.
there's written model: smg900v on the back
but in settings it shows g900f, which one is it?
for the record, the phone has already been opened and repaired once so its safe to think that the guy who repaired changed the board. but idk , i just want to install a custom rom but im afraid ill brick the phone.
thanks for reading. please help if u cab

In the settings / about the phone the info is taken from the build.prop phone located in /system partition. So it tells you what firmware version you have in the phone but not necessarily what is the real phone model.
If your phone was not repaired (motherboard replaced) it would be easy - you should just follow what is written on the phone's label.
But currently you don't know what you really have inside - best is to ask service what they really put inside.
1. Verizon S5s are unlocked.
2. Odin mode always says the truth (photo 1).
3. How do you think which phone model I have (photo 2)?
i got it, it was g900v , when in odin mode it said g900v so i installed an odin update for g900f and odin rejected it , but when i installed using an update file for g900v i successfully updated to marshmallow and odin allowed it this time confirming its g900v ,and after update it said g900v in settings(Build.prop)
Same problem here g900f on g900v
Hello there.....I am quite having the same problem...did you manage to flash any custom rom meant for g900f not g900v
Hello everyone
So i got AT&T note4 SM-N910A on a good deal about 135$ yesterday and its unlocked running on android 5.0.1 lollipop i just want to flash 6.0.1 marshmallow stock via ODIN but i afraid if i flash another stock rom it will get network locked and i know deep down so far this thing is not rootable. so please anyone know exactly is it safe to upgrade from 5.0.1 to 6.0.1 without messing anything up because its running a modified firmware with lot of languages included and all blotware/bootanimation/tethering hotspot unlocked etc from AT&T removed.
Here are some screenshots to help understand the device i got.
TIA
EDIT-I FLASHED STOCK 6.0.1 AND EVERYTHING WORKS FINE
Moderators feel free to delete the thread.
Anyone ?

Flashing stock with Odin is harmless, I'd go for it

Yes indeed odin is harmless but my only concern was sim network lock because i have usa AT&T note 4 and i live outside usa .
previously i had sprint note 4 and i flashed stock via odin and it got network locked it was showing "invalid sim" but this doesn't happens with Tmobile/verizon/AT&T thankfully .
thats y i thought better to ask and take advice in xda.
Have a good day:good:

Now that you mention it, I did get that error on my T-Mobile Note 3 a while ago. I upgraded to the latest version via Odin (I also live outside the US) and the phone is unlocked, but I kept getting invalid T-Mobile SIM inserted and didn't get any data.
Fortunately, my plan wasn't to go back to stock, only to test GPS (Google Maps) on stock. After that, I went immediately to a custom ROM and did not get that error any more.
Hope you don't get it xD
Good day :good:
