[Q]Rogers Galaxy S4 stuck at boot logo

After flashing some ROM, I am having trouble because the phone is stuck in Samsung Galaxy IV logo.
First couple times I was able to boot to twrp and do a format, wipe, flash, then davik wipe. The problem is that I was able to restart and set up and update etc but if i restart the phone, it would stuck at boot logo.
So I flashed it again and installed GooManager and installed twrp again, tried to restart and it would just stuck at Samsung boot logo, I can't even get into recovery mode.
I tried using Odin and flash cwm but it would not boot into recovery mode.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
I'll try to flash it with stock ROM with ODIN going into download mode, but somehow I don't think that will work.
I'm using Canadian Rogers Galaxy S4 SGH-I337M
Please let me know if there is anything I can do
Boot to download mode (volume down+ home during boot) and Odin to stock MDJ firmware would be my suggestion. Give it a boot and then factory reset. If hangs on first boot, go into recovery (volume up+ home during boot) and factory reset via recovery. After phone boots install triangle away, reset counter, and then do the OTA update.
Finally got around to updating to the MG1 firmware last night and found that Odin directly to MG1 did not update the modem (baseband) and also left me with no Wi-Fi. The above steps applied the new modem and did not cause any Wi-Fi issues.
After update, to root just use the CF auto root for Canadian models with Odin then goo manager for custom recovery (twrp).

I just rooted my phone and i have a backup of the phone before i rooted it. But i can not get the phone to boot into the recovery mode. At the top of the screen it says booting recovery but never boots into the recovery mode. I have the Galxay S4 SPH-L720. I have tried to load a stock firmware via odin but its keeps failing.
Any help would be greatly apprieced. like i said i do have a full backup of my phone i just need to get it to boot into the recovery so i can restore it

Unable to flash stock rom, please help!

Hello to you all,
I've downloaded and flashed the original samsung lolipop rom for my SM-T535, but something went wrong and it gets stuck at boot (samsung logo) and once or twice it boots up but freezes when I'm making the initial setup (google account etc.) and restarts and stops at boot indefinitely.
Now I want to go back to kitkat and I've downloaded the correct firmware for my region (Spain), but I've been unable to flash it. Odin tries flashing it (almost completing the process), but it says FAIL at the end. I try installing lolipop again (and Odin succeeds flashing it), still stuck at boot, but I can access recovery mode. I then make the factory reset and wipe cash, and try flashing kitkat again, but still Fail.
I would really appreciate some help, if anybody has an idea what could the problem be.
One other thing, when ODIN fails I try accessing recovery mode, but it says Firmware upgrade encountered an issue, please select recovery mode in Kies and try again.
Can you flash a custom ROM?

Phone keeps rebooting to recovery mode

I have a SM-G900V I tried using Odin 3.9 to downgrade from 5.0 Lollipop to 4.4.2 kit kat and now the phone will not boot and keeps hanging on the splash screen for about 15 seconds or so then goes to recovery mode.
No errors recevied when phone was flashed and Odin displayed a Pass.
The recovery screen says:
Android system recovery <3e>
LRX21T.G900VVRU2BOE1
Then it gives me the usual options.
I tried wipe cache partition and wipe data/factory reset with no change.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.
Try flashing the same KK ROM again with ODIN 3.10.6
Similar thing happened to me when I tried downgrading, first KK flash wouldn't boot, second flash booted first time

galaxy note 4 n910c: cant install open recovery (without root)

Hi,
I am trying to install open recovery on my note 4 n910c android 5.1.1, using odin and openrecovery-twrp-2.8.3.0-treltexx.img.
Odin says that the flash is successful, but when I try to reboot in recovery mode I obtain the green android and after that the laid down android with 'no command' message to finally ending up in the normal recovery mode.
I have tried several methods to flash it, I even tried to root the phone (I had boot loop and reflashed the stock rom).
Can anyone help.
Thanks in advance
Hello,
Did you have the autoreboot option UNCHECKED in Odin when you flashed the recovery? it must be unchecked, the device can not be allowed to reboot into system after flashing. After flashing with the option unchecked and you get the green pass, you have to manually boot the device to recovery with the button method, then you will keep the recovery, if you boot it to any other modes immediately after flashing then it reverts back to stock recovery, it requires booting directly to the recovery immediately after flashing, then it will be retained.
Hi,
Well it make sense, I had the reboot option ticked on. I actually went through another way by flashing the 5.0.1 bootloader which then allowed me to flash the custom recovery.
To be honest I am not sure whether or not I had the reboot option ticked on (my guess would be that it was as it's the default option in Odin).
Anyway, thanks for the tips I hope it will help others.
