It's an AT&T S5. I messed with the build.prop to try to spoof another phone, and wound up having the Android UI appear tiny and crash whenever I booted to the home screen. I tried to fix this problem by flashing earlier stock firmware with Odin, but now my phone freezes every time it boots up. It will load until the Samsung logo animation, then freeze mid-animation, and the screen will go black with my led light in the corner blue. I have to pull the battery out.
Every soft brick solution I see is to flash stock firmware, but it doesn't seem to be working. I flash G900AUGU1ANCE 4.4.2, the AP, CP and CSC files, but the phone still boots up with the the CUSTOM appearing at initial boot with the unlocked padlock graphic. Usually that goes away after flashing older firmware. SO despite flashing older firmware, it still boots and freezes. I can boot into Recovery mode and Download mode, so the phone is not all the way gone. I try wiping data and cache in Recovery, but that doesn't fix anything. I am at my wit's end. Can anyone help fix this?

I'm having the same problem after installing and using the TWRP app on my ATT S5. I tried reflashing the stock rom using odin and it says successful but the phone never boots. It only makes it to the Samsung logo then the screen goes black. I've heard that if the phone is on lollipop which mine is you have to downgrade to kitkat first then flash the stock files.
If your fone boot in recovery perform a full vipe and format system and after go in download mode end use odin for flash all file bootloader, modem ,PIT file for partition find the pit file for ur device modell in xda
I am having issues trying to flash a new firmware, ive tried alot of firmwares but odin keeps on giving me errors, my phone is stuck in a boot loop, i cant enter recovery mode but when i try to it takes me to odin mode and the error is cannot boot into normal mode, the reason why this happened is i tried to unlock the bootloader via fastboot, and after it rebooted it got stuck there.
Here are some of the Remedies i tried:
*Flash stock firmware
*Put in recovery mode
*Try To Flash rom with fastboot (Phone isnt detectable usin abd but odin detects it)
*Tried to re-root it but phone isnt being detected
Phone Details:
MODEL: SM-N910F
OS: 5.0.1 Lollipop
Please Help me find the correct firmware.
Ask any questions and ill try to respond asap.
Thanks
Dear all,
Can you please me help me on this one.
My phone suddenly couldn't open. It was almost full storage.
So after a week I decided to reformat it using odin.
At first I tried loading the odin and ap stock firmware of N910C.
However it is stuck in bootloop.
Then I tried stock firmware and then installing twrp. but still stuck in bootloop, and couldn't go to recovery mode. Only download mode works.
Finally I decided to use Nand-erase all, thinking I could erase cache (but stupid). but still I'm stuck in bootloop.
I tried flashing a pit file (but not sure if it is the right one) but still stuck in bootloop. Couldn't go to recovery mode.
All I can do is download mode and pass firmware..
Guys, any idea/ help what should I do? Thank you very much.
Hello everyone i need hepl.
My note 4 N910F goes into a continuous bootloop sometimes it says ''recovery booting'' also in loop after flashing stock recovery. I tried to flash the stock ROM using odin 3.12.3 and odin 3.09, but i can go only in dowload mode, i tried to flash also CMW recovery and TWRP recovery but no way to go into recovery mode. The screen shows only ''Galaxy note4" logo and anything else. I don't know how to solve this probelm i need help. Tried also using a diferent calble and USB port, the flashing procedure finishes sucsesfully but still in bootloop.

Hey guys,
I really need your help. I have done an update of my twrp. My phone is rooted.
Now after it the phone stucks at the boot logo "Samsung Galaxy S8 powered by Android".
The hotkey combination for booting to Recovery does not work; nothing happens. The hotkey combination for download mode works.
I tried applying TWRP via Odin; nothing changed. What can I do? I don't want to lose all data

EDIT:
Problem solved: TWRP Version twrp-3.1.1-2-dreamlte.img.tar seems to be broken. DOwngraded via odin and it works again!
flash stock rom through odin then flash twrp. yes you will lose your data this is why it is advisable to keep a backup.
