Help guys coz I need phone to work

I f****d my phone like this one time...
It is because you tried to install Android 4.3 (I know MK8 is JellyBean) when you have the phone partioned on KK.
Try to reconnect the phone and somehow install that .pit file. It is very important. You can try more of those files, I've seen 2 or 3 .pits for i9505 on XDA.
After that, do not try to install the firmware again because it won't work. Instead, download the .tar or .tar.md5 of PhilZ Recovery or TWRP. You should be able to flash them. If it succeded, now you will be able to acces the custom recovery and install a ROM again (i suggest you something closer to the stock KK to set things up, and then you can search for another Lollipop rom).
I hope it'll work!

Looks like you are trying to install I9 in your second post. Unless you were on i9 to start with you cannot downgrade. At the top of your post you refer to MJE. That is probably the reason.

[Q] Bricked VZW S4 - Odin Fail! (Auth)

So I tried rooting my girlfriends VZW S4. I got booted into Safestrap recovery and tried installing a custom ROM... every rom I had failed. So I just wiped the cache, still didn't work. Now I reboot the phone and im stuck at the "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again."
Odin will NOT WORK with ANY build I try to flash it. I get that god damn Fail (Auth!) error EVERY TIME.

says SW REV. CHECK FAIL : fused : 6 , binary : 5 on the phone after odin fails.
Tried a bunch of things, nothing yet.

found a stock one that is actually working.... so far so good
The reason why it doesn't work is because you are flashing old firmwares. You can't flash 4.2.2 and 4.3 once you are on 4.4.2. You can only flash 4.4.2.

Now that I am on 4.4.2, is this phone stuck with that? I managed to get safestrap on it, but I still cannot install any custom ROMs on it. Tried partitioning a new piece and installing cyanogen on there, no luck, just bootloops... this is a headache!

Yes but my guess is your s3 isn't a Verizon version.
ps I don't think CM works on your version. I think you can only flash custom roms that match your kernel.

Help me unbrick my device. N910H

Hello guys... I have been at this for a few hours now. I own a Note 4 N910H. I had upgraded OTA to lollipop last month. I was reading some reviews on lollipop because I was experiencing a lot of bugs with the OS. A lot of people were having the same issues as me. So I decided to go back to kitkat. This is where my problem happens. I accidentely soft bricked my device.
Everything I've done:
Downloaded kitkat and tried to install via odin. (Didn't check developer settings prior, not sure if this was the problem)
Device soft bricked
Turned on my device and saw this message "Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies and try again.
Tried to access Kies, it said my device wasn't supported.
I googled around and saw an article saying I have to go back to lollipop.
I downloaded lollipop and tried to install via odin. It failed again with the same error when I turn on my device.
All help will be greatly appreciated. I really hope I don't have to send my phone back. I don't have a backup lol.

Would that root my device? I don't want to void my warranty. If it doesn't void it, how do I go about doing those steps? This whole thing is driven me nuts.
Edit: THANK YOU!!! All is good now!
Use a pit file for it. Because your hidden partition fails. Or you can Flash your latest rom with no error. I think you re trying another rom from your latest.

odin fails going to stock rom

hello
i have been flashing roms for ages now and really never had such a problem like this before , i am on sweet rom , model number N910U ( new zealand ) , i need to go back to stock rom cause there to been a hardware problem with the camera, thought i better get back to stock before i take it in .
i have unsuccessfully trying to unroot via odin ( Odin3 v3.09) tried using this firmware "BRI-N910UXXU1BOGB-20150731100307" and even had worse luck with this one " CTI-N910UXXU1BOE1-20150721100509" (fails in a few seconds)
seems to have failed just before it gets to hidden.img

Hello,
I have the same problem on the S5+ and for the moment i don't find solution for this problem. I think CSC is causing this error and my advice is to install samsung phone info to find CSC and download right firmware for your phone. After that you can try to reinstall with Odin the firmware .

Bricked Galaxy S5 Canadian Version G900W8

So I've installed a custom ROM on this phone about 2 years ago. It's my girlfriends phone.
Every once in a while when she turns her phone on it would go into a boot loop several times, and eventually go into the system and function normally. It was very intermittent, but it wasn't a big deal. Yesterday the phone was stuck in a permanent boot loop. What was interesting is that i could not enter into a Recovery Mode, just download mode.
So i figured it was time to just simply flash the original stock ROM.
ODIN 3.12.7
ROM: FMC-G900W8VLS1DPF3-20160725152930 (Canadian Koodo Android 6.0.1)
Flash was completely successful (I've flashed and unbricked many phones so I am very familiar with the process). This is the ODIN log file

Phone restarts with blue Recovery Booting message and is stuck in a boot loop again. Boot loop is always trying to go Into Recovery Mode (just like previously before flash). I know that flash was successful because I no longer have the yellow Warranty Bit message i did when custom ROM was installed, So then i figured maybe i need the PIT file. I found a pit file SM-G900W8_pit_16GB.
I've then re-flashed again with this PIT file (Auto-reboot, re-partition, and F. Reset Time checked) and got an error message
