buy a new phone ?
Yep. Buy a new one. You can't reset knox. That's the most difficult problem to solve for now seems impossible

Hi, I have just bought S4 I9515 and it seems I acted with rooting too fast. Unfortunately my phone has issue with frequent rebooting. I would like to send it to service with warranty but after rooting knox counter switched to 0,1.
Is there any way to reset knox counter or eliminate rebooting issue?
Thanks in advance for help.

Did you try installing the firmware again through Odin? There's no way to reset the Knox flag once tripped.
1. But isnt it possible for now or it is not supposed to be elaborated within the closest future at all?
2. Where and how could I find firmware for my phone model each original not branded and designated for telcom provider Play for Poland? What shall I check, verify and take into account during firmware compatibility validation?
3. Regarding issue with rebooting is any xda dev working on it or samsung? Is it supposed to be solved? I heard the issue can be related to battery.
4. Shall I maybe try to send to samsung service counting they will ignore knox counter? Do you know how much expensive could be such repair?
1. It's not possible for us to do it, at all. The Knox flag is set, as best as the userbase can fathom, via an EFuse. Once tripped, that's it unless Samsung can reset it.
2. http://www.sammobile.com is where you can get the firmware for your device. There is a firmware checker on the site, that when you enter the model number of the phone and the country, it will pull up the firmware you are supposed to have. Another portion of the site can pull up all the available firmwares worldwide for a particular model. You'll have to go over there and look.
3. What issues with rebooting? I have an I9505 so I have no idea what you're referring to. Flashing the stock ROM for your device may cure the reboot issue.
4. You can send it in if the firmware flash doesn't fix it. If Poland is a member of the EU, and I believe it is, supposedly Samsung may not refuse warranty service on the basis of the Knox counter being tripped. I caution you however that I am not a citizen of Europe, so what I have heard is simply hearsay. You'll want to confirm the truth before taking any action. Cost of the repair? Unknown, because it's impossible to know what could be causing the issue. If it's a problem with firmware they'll likely flash it, charge for the privilege, and send it back. If they have to replace the motherboard, that will be expensive.
Thanks a lot for your effort and all the best in the New Year if applicable for you
Regarding issue #3 my phone is randomly rebooting by itself. It can even do during a call :/

unfortunately this boring question can be summed up in only one way:
- Want the root = you lose your warranty
- You want to guarantee = nothing root
I, for example, when I buy a device I want to exploit it and customize it to the 100% and do the root but before I use it for a good day, to see if it has manufacturing defects, and then root.
if it breaks then I am conscious that I need to fix it with my $$$ :crying:
A5 2017 root 0x1 now if i change board it will be 0×0.. so how much cost the board .

Hi guys, I have a Samsung Note 4 SM-N910F, and recently it started having hardware problems, locking up, automaticaly reseting, and so on.
I rooted the device a year ago to install some apps, and always used Samsung Official Rom.
I sent it to warranty, and they didnt acepted it because of the Warranty Knox Void being 0x1.
My question is. Is there any way that i can completely make my phone won't turn on so that can't detect that the knox void is 0x1?
I dont think that is fair that they just jump out of giving me warranty because of something that is not hardware related.
1. Can u tell me what exacly will cost me rooting phone like not working samsung pay, is there more ? I bought phone week ago and probably I am gonna trade him next year when S8 will come out, will stock firmware fix samsung pay or any other problems?
2. If I am rooting phone I'll trip knox but can it be "untripped" by flashing stock firmware?
3. TRWP or CF root is better?
4. What I had to do in developer options?
5. I have traded phone in CEX S6 + £ = S7 (webuy.com) they gave me 2 years warranty but with tripped knox?
There is probably many threads or post about this but all of them are so messed up that I can't find out.

1.rooting will mean that samsung pay does not. OTA upgrades do not work, you will have to flash roms manually and knox will not work.
2.Knox cannot be restored once it is tripped as knox is hardware controlled not software.
3. TWRP is better as you have more future options on your phone but CF root is easier to do.
4. You do not need to do anything in developer options occasional you will be asked to enable usb debugging to grant some apps access to the phone.
5. You will have no official warranty once knox is tripped. Depending on how rigidly knox is enforced some store will still repair the phone under warranty, some will not. It is up to the shop to decide.
Hello everyone,
I have an issue with brother's a3 2016, there is a problem with a charging, the phone doesn't charge under android but only in download mode but really, really slow....80% during the whole night. In september 2016, a week after purchase was the same problem but phone was repaired in local Samsung service in few minutes, but this time it isn't available due to knox 0x1 - no warranty... . They told there is a need to change something inside the phone, but why it is possible if phone is charging correctly under download mode..... Could you help me to solve this problem ? Now the phone is working under official android 7.0.

But if it is a hard brick why phone was repaired last time without even a factory reset ?
