Hello everyone,
I have an issue with brother's a3 2016, there is a problem with a charging, the phone doesn't charge under android but only in download mode but really, really slow....80% during the whole night. In september 2016, a week after purchase was the same problem but phone was repaired in local Samsung service in few minutes, but this time it isn't available due to knox 0x1 - no warranty... . They told there is a need to change something inside the phone, but why it is possible if phone is charging correctly under download mode..... Could you help me to solve this problem ? Now the phone is working under official android 7.0.

Hello everyone. I bought a new Note 3 in China, about two weeks ago. It's the n900 international model. I didn't root it, didn't flash any mods at all, didn't even enable developer mode. About an hour ago I decided to go into download mode, just out of curiosity, to see the information displayed there, and well... my warranty bit is 1. From what I read that's the tripped knox warranty bit, but how is that even possible? Am I missing something?

Hi
I have a Samsung S4 GT–I9505 LTE bought in New Zealand but through a Parallel Import business via Hong Kong.
While doing an update the phone died. Not knowing anything about phones and well within the 1 year warrantly I took it back to the shop. A while later the phone returned and worked.
Since then I have purchased a Samsung smart TV and the Screen mirroring and the I Link don’t work. Maybe other things don’t work also? My sister inlaw has an S3 and it all works so I know its not the TV.
Looking into it further in Odin download Mode I get the following:
Product Name:GT-I9505
Current Binary:Custom
System Staus:Custom
CSD-OEM_CONFIG_ISB:0x30
Write Protection Enable.
I have also performed a ROM CSC and have the following;
AP:I9505ZHUAME3
CP:I9505ZZHAME3
CSC:I9505ZHUAME3
I would like to get back to official and have the ability to get updates and to solve these problems.
I have a Kernel noted as 3.4.0-626292 unsure if this is correct.
Build Number: JDQ39.I9505ZHUAME3
Android Version: 4.2.2
Not sure what the repair guys have done or what I had before, oh and the business where the phone was bought has gone broke.
Anyway you guys seem to know what you are doing so any any suggestions of the best plan of attack appreciated.

Hi, I have just bought S4 I9515 and it seems I acted with rooting too fast. Unfortunately my phone has issue with frequent rebooting. I would like to send it to service with warranty but after rooting knox counter switched to 0,1.
Is there any way to reset knox counter or eliminate rebooting issue?
Thanks in advance for help.
Sebalos
Did you try installing the firmware again through Odin? There's no way to reset the Knox flag once tripped.
1. But isnt it possible for now or it is not supposed to be elaborated within the closest future at all?
2. Where and how could I find firmware for my phone model each original not branded and designated for telcom provider Play for Poland? What shall I check, verify and take into account during firmware compatibility validation?
3. Regarding issue with rebooting is any xda dev working on it or samsung? Is it supposed to be solved? I heard the issue can be related to battery.
4. Shall I maybe try to send to samsung service counting they will ignore knox counter? Do you know how much expensive could be such repair?
1. It's not possible for us to do it, at all. The Knox flag is set, as best as the userbase can fathom, via an EFuse. Once tripped, that's it unless Samsung can reset it.
2. http://www.sammobile.com is where you can get the firmware for your device. There is a firmware checker on the site, that when you enter the model number of the phone and the country, it will pull up the firmware you are supposed to have. Another portion of the site can pull up all the available firmwares worldwide for a particular model. You'll have to go over there and look.
3. What issues with rebooting? I have an I9505 so I have no idea what you're referring to. Flashing the stock ROM for your device may cure the reboot issue.
4. You can send it in if the firmware flash doesn't fix it. If Poland is a member of the EU, and I believe it is, supposedly Samsung may not refuse warranty service on the basis of the Knox counter being tripped. I caution you however that I am not a citizen of Europe, so what I have heard is simply hearsay. You'll want to confirm the truth before taking any action. Cost of the repair? Unknown, because it's impossible to know what could be causing the issue. If it's a problem with firmware they'll likely flash it, charge for the privilege, and send it back. If they have to replace the motherboard, that will be expensive.
Thanks a lot for your effort and all the best in the New Year if applicable for you
Regarding issue #3 my phone is randomly rebooting by itself. It can even do during a call :/
I purchased a factory unlocked note 3 about 2 days ago and out the box was 4.4.4 i presume. The manufacture date was in late 2014. I've been dying to get my hands on the official lollipop update knowing kies is about the only way. Long story short after the reboot i turned my head and i heard the T-mobile boot sound! I look over and see the tmobile boot playing. After that i suddenly have all TMO's bloatware and annoying little offers but weirdly half of the bloatware doesnt work. It all gets errors and so forth. I'm slightly confused as to why this happened. I purchased the note from an official licensed samsung retailer and the box was sealed. I just want to know why or how this could happen? IT just baffles me.
Its a TMobile branded phone is the most likely answer .
Kies has updated by the firmware details etc on the phone .

But i purchased it brand new, factory unlocked, directly from samsung. I had to order it from the official retailer but i had tracking VIA samsung's official support mail.
Did you try to contact the place you got it from?
What details re CSC firmware etc .
Use Phone Info from Play store .
Kies can only read what's on the phone .
Are you sure Kies gave you an update to lollipop .
Could it be that someone flashed a firmware ???

Well first of all, WHY DID YOU TRY TO UPDATE WITH LOW BATTERY?!?! I'm pretty sure you get warned EVERYWHERE to have AT LEAST 70-80% in every update ever to avoid problems like this. I'd honestly take it to a non-official repair center. I once had this problem on a Note 1, tried searching everywhere on the net but no luck. Just took it to this one person that specialized on repairing phones and he did it for about $5 dollars. Every fix I found on the web involved having a backup of you /EFS which I didn't have. Mistakes are for you to learn, hopefully you know better in the future.
okey.. thank you for respond
