Hello. Sorry in advance for the noob question. The MOJO goes to sleep and I can't wake it up without unplugging and replugging, how do you get it to wake up?

long press of the madcatz button to turn on the CTRLR and that will also turn on the mojo.
Thank you. I don't have the original controller. I bought a replacement CTRLR but it seems to be different, black buttons not silver. The replacement CTRLR doesn't re pair with mojo when it's in sleep. Is there a way to keep it from sleeping?

Ah yes, the retail controller is different, try holding down start as that resets the pair.. it might work.
I haven't tried waking mojo with the retail controller, if I ever see it sleeping i'll try it tho.
I'm sure In settings you can set it not to sleep.

its interesting, but i already have the bt icon.
i want something that when im driving and i forget to turn it on, only pressing a button, and voilá.
much safer when you're driving
why not just leave your bluetooth on all the time.
you can hide it from other dev ices so is safe from bluetooth hackers
i do

Battery time.
AE Button Plus does this very well
I took my HD on a road trip for New Years. I made a custom vehicle mount for the center console of my mini van. Unfortunately, although it is solid the dash vibrates quite a bit when driving fast (for a minivan anyways). I had it in the holder and in sleep mode but not plugged in since I was trying to kill the battery. I went to turn it on and it would not turn on. After several long and short presses of the power key I had to remove the back cover and press the soft reset button which did turn it on. I have had no problems since. I have put it back to see if the vibrations may repeat the isssue but they did not. My question is what do you guys think about vibrations and the phone in general, I would imagine most people have subjected the HD to some serious vibrations at some point or another? Any one ever experience it shutting down?
Thanks, dhatw.

I dont think it would do any damage as there are no moving parts in this phone, and it doesnt have a hard drive like an ipod classic for example.
My HD gets put in my car cradle which is stuck onto the windscreen and vibrates constantly when driving. It does no damage to the handset at all, and i would say theres nothing to worry about.
The fact that it didnt turn on the time you are talking about is probably the result of you running the battery flat.
Cheers
Hi Everyone
I am currently in the process of putting a Nexus 7 into my car dash as a headunit/stereo replacement... however, once its in, the buttons will not be accessible... Which leave me with the obvious problem, when the tab goes to sleep... how do I wake it back up? Are there any settings/apps that will allow me to wake the device just by touching the screen?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
You can use a magnetic on correct spot of the screen to wake/sleep.
I stills dont own a N7 so cant tells exactly the spot on screen OR any other way to acomplish that

I have the same problem. The way I currently deal with it is I've set the Nexus 7 screen to stay on when charging, and then to turn off after 15 seconds once it is no longer charging. So turning the car on wakes it up, and turning the car off puts it to sleep after 15 seconds.
The "keep screen on while charging" option is under the Developer menu.
hi there!
I need some advice/info.
I found an sgs4 for a very good price, the person that's selling the phone says that he dropped it and screen it's not responding.
it's there any way to check that? mhl cable or pc?
I wanna make sure it's the screen only and not something else.
it's there a software that I can check with?
any suggestions will be appreciated.
thanks

You can use a free app like "AirDroid" to control the device from a PC/Mac.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sand.airdroid&hl=en
Just follow the instructions on set up and connection and test it. If you use the app and the device itself is moving around via the software or doing the functions commanded from the PC, then it would seemingly be just the screen not responding.
Check the physical buttons too - make sure the volume rocker adjusts the volume, home button sends home or navigates to the Recent Apps screen. Make sure the power button will wake/sleep the device's state and power on/off.
If it does all that, a simple screen swap should do it.
Randomly, as of about ~2 weeks ago, my Shield remote nor the controller will wake up my Shield when it is "sleeping". To wake up the Shield I have been disconnecting and then reconnecting the power cord, which is veryyy freaking annoying to say the least. Any suggestions to alleviate this? Thanks
I've had this problem recently too. While it's awake, does yours also turn itself off when you push a button on the remote?
Happens to me randomly and it's really annoying. Can't figure out why it happens.
