It doesn't inform them how to publish the apps to the market.
For all the negatives there are a lot of positives that can come of this.

It wont be malicious. I'm sure they're just rolling this thing out slowly like they did with Google Voice. It took me two weeks to get an invite from Voice. I bet it would take the same amount of time for this.

It's actually a google application, so I don't think so.

There is a $25 fee to register as a dev to be able to submit apps, hopefully that deters most of the crapware

Think they are really using this to get ideas from other peoples crap LOL. Then make it better. Love the royalty free part. If you come up with gold they get to put it out there and only pay you small amount of what you should get.

right now they are only opening the beta to pretty much teachers of some sort (for some reason its what i have read don't remember if it was on lifehacker or some other site) ... so basically when you filled out the app for the beta you should have put on there somewhere that you were a teacher... or just wait until its released to the public.

My nephew is really interested in app development, but he's 10 so teaching him how to build an app the good old fashioned way won't hold his interest. This on the other hand will. I signed up last night. We'll see.

I don't think the market could ever be as bad as when i was on 1.5
it was all soundboards, and the $25 fee will probably help as well

Building a research tool.
I'm gonna experiment with making apps for my own use - mainly data-mining. For instance, I'm going to build an app to automatically gather general econ data GDP, unemployment rates, Fed Funds rate, crude oil prices, etc.) so I can have them at my fingertips during class.
I'll probably do the world a favor & NOT put them on the market since no one would download it, unless I name it EconFart

Can't find market place, HTC G2 for sale.

Can't find the market place, yet I read the "Forum and Marketplace" rules. If this is not the correct place, please let me know and move this topic.
First, wanted to thank everyone for their wealth of knowledge. I used this forum to modify all of the Android phones to make them mine. I have 2 Vibrants, A G2, Captivate, and Droid. This place makes using and modifying these devices a BREEZE. Again, thank you everyone who contributes here.
I have a 2 day old G2 for sale. I put my sim card in, organized my contacts, put Fancy Widget, TAJM, BattStatt, and LauncherPro on it. That's it. Decided to sale it because I have many phones, and this phone seemed to be the one who would recoup the most money.
It has everything that comes with the phone from the factory. Also has a hard case and hip clip brand new from T-Mobile.
Everything you get at the store, you get here.
If there is anything that you need, just let me know. I can give out the IMEI number to anyone seriously interested.
I am located in Mobile, AL and would love a local sell, but I will ship.
You can PM me or just reply here. I will be checking all day.

lmaoooo is the bish serious? crackberry for android. one of those accesories better be a g1 because i'd pick a g1 over crackberry, unless its a crackberry torch. that phone is kinda awesome besides the small keyboard for small fingered people.

Is the HTZ Desire (A8) a good trade for the G2?
I like the look of the phone, and don't mind having it as an extra. What do you guys think about the phone?

Depends on what state/country maybe?

She's a US citizen and resident, so it'll be 18 at minimum. The only state exceptions are higher ages, like 19 and 21.

In AL, age of consent is 16 my friend. Step your game up.

Emails are easy to block and ignore... the primary reason physical letters are effective in large enough numbers, is because the post office is obligated to deliver every single letter - and thousands of physical envelopes stuffed with letters will take up a -lot- of space in the office... emails, not so much...

Fb makes billions every year because with social networking, the product is YOU. They have no need to charge anyone but app designers, businesses and advertisers. The idea that they would start the general public being charged for using their site is and always will be beyond ridiculous.

Obviously a hoax, but oh how I would love if they actually did charge so people would dump it for Google+ which is much better but is practically a ghost town compared to FB.

I can't recall any membership fee that managed to discourage idiots as effectively as it discourages those with better financial priorities (or less money for frivolous pursuits).
A membership fee would first make Facebook a haven for the over-privileged, which will cause the remaining intelligent users to bail even if they can afford the cost. Eventually, Facebook would be the rich morons' playground

This is an in store only coupon. It does not work for online orders. It excludes anything on sale, as it states that it is 30% off of any regularly priced item. That part is kind of YMMV, since I was able to get a sale item marked down by a cashier in a crowded line.

Lots of hard drives in store that are worth the $30+ off. Beyond that, Kindles are included as well. Could be $50 or more off of those.
