i know that there isnt a toggle that does 2g/3g but it brings you to the system settings.
now that i have root is there a toggle that just does 2g/3g?

That application we spoke of earlier in that other thread has that section built-in on the user interface. There are TWO tabs for various toggle options.
There is one that can adjust the data usage. GPRS, EDGE, and 3G.
EDGE is essentially 2G.
i have the application, but it brings me to the system settings page and requires another key press, i was hoping that maybe with root it is possible to just place a widget on the desktop which toggles between 2g and 2g/3g without having to go into the system settings.

They might, if so...it won't come free. However, I have it ported from a website and the weather widget they offer is brilliant.

I'm currently using the MIDteam ICS ROM and would like to ask if its possible to
a) remove the "no SIM card installed / found" icon from the notification bar
b) add an airplane toggle to the notification bar (otherwise the system uses battery for cell standby)
Topic says it all. I would like to get the stock LG rom toggles on my CM11 install.
I'm using power toggles right now, but it's annoying that everything flashes and refreshes on any toggle. Also, the 4G toggle still doesn't seem to have access to the setting, and remains idle.

i am experimenting with notification toggles, power toggles and tasker on android L, and i discovered that any of this apps can enable or disable 2g/3g mode or data. has any of you find any workaround to this?
