Disabling Photobucket?

When I got my G2, I rooted with Visionary and disabled the packages for all of the preinstalled crap that I didn't want like Facebook and Twitter.
However, since the most recent firmware update, I noticed that Photobucket has managed to crawl out of the grave I dug for it and is now happily running in the background and prompting me to share my photos when all I want to do is share my fist with its face.
Is the only way to crush this thing to downgrade back to Froyo and re-root? I never took the steps to cascade my root into Gingerbread since disabling those packages was the only thing I ever did with root.
As a side note, **** T-Mobile for preloading un-uninstallable stuff on this phone.
I installed a rooted stock gb ROM and then used Titanium Backup to yank the unwanted stuff like Facebook and photobucket.

there is also a great app (requires root) called Root App Remover that will remove any stock app without all of the bloat of Ti Backup
you can uninstall most things with titanium backup, another handy feature is you can detach an app from the
market to stop it getting updates

How to stop background services?

I am new to Android, still got my iphone 3GS as a backup. One reason for switching was to be able to watch flash video, the problem I have is because apps and services never seem to close, no matter what I try, video too slow to play with everything else running.
Is it possible to stop services on the Galaxy Note so they don't restart automatically, unless I want them to? I have tried several killer apps, but does not really do it. Why is not possible to only run one app and service at a time or why I want?
Help!!!

There are some apps and services which restart upon closing manually. The only way to have them remain closed is by freezing them or uninstalling them. You have to first root your phone and then install Titanium Backup. In there you will have to either uninstall the apps/services or freeze them. It also works on stock apps which came pre-installed on the phone. Just be careful not to uninstall any apps which are part of the O/S.
you need to root your phone, and rum a root level app manager.
This method worked on my Galaxy Note:

once you rooted, install titanium backup. To back up all you apps. If you are willing to pay, this app will let you freeze apps not to run in the background as well.
Or install gemini apps manager, it allows you to change the autostart, block, and uninstall any apps you want.
Just becareful not to block or uninstall importNt system apps. They are addictive because you feel powerful and in control.

Permission. Managing app with pop-ups

Hi all,
Back in the day when I still used my Galaxy S2 I had an app that managed permissions by giving me a pop-up whenever an app needed e.g. internet access or location information. I then had the option to allow or deny the request and to remember my choice if I wanted that.
Now that I rooted my Note 3 with towelroot I want to use this app again but I have no idea what it was called. Any of you have an idea? Also, other interesting root Alps aways welcome.
Cheers,

Debloating app?

Hi,
I need an app to debloat the newest bobcatrom as he didn't debloat it.
I did use an app called xda assistant but that was taken off play store a few months ago.
I have since tried many apps from play store but they are all useless as apps still show on my phone after I try to uninstall them.
Does anyone know of a good app where I can remove system apps with ?
Nvm I found the best app ever.
Care to share this app name?

Hide/edit share apps
