Not to sound like an idiot but searching for a simple answer as I already assume by the writing - fine print that I don't qualify.
- Already been a Netflix Subscriber for several years and currently paying per month on their service.
- Bought my Verizon Galaxy Note 4 back in October/2014 upon release date already.
I assume the later disqualifies me. Just looking for confirmation that I am reading this correctly

You are correct, you would need to purchase the device between January 4 and 17 to be eligible.

Whats sad about this.. If people wanted to be a real ass and stoop to low levels. Like most deals they go back during return times so people who just purchased are not short changed, well what happens is they could go back and do return and new purchase. This is why most deals like this go back past weeks to avoid store return periods. It would be dumb for people to do but yet some people would do it for spite to get a neyflix deal.

Enjoying my free year of Netflix now. They sent me the approved email this morning and the code for Netflix. I assume the, "+MilkMusic" is just the regular free one as there was no mention of it in the approval email.

What about Dev Edition?
Has anyone tried to register with the Dev Edition? When you register it asks for IMEI and Wireless MAC. I bought a couple of them and neither IMEIs are working. Comes back as invalid IMEI.

So how did you get them to approve you

Got a VZW Note4 on 1/4/15 and submitted it that night. On the 9th, I got an email saying they received my submission. Have not received the activation code yet though. The fine details at registration said it may take up to 3 weeks.

Finally got the Dev edition to register. It still said invalid. After getting this email response, I did as stated and it went through.
Thank you for your interest in the Netflix Gift With Purchase. If you are receiving an Invalid IMEI/ Serial Number message, please return to the site and enter your information again. If the error pops up and you believe your claim is valid, please close the error message, make sure your receipt is still in the uploaded field, and hit submit again. Why don't you just return it back to dell and either get your money back or a credit to use when they sell the unlocked version later this week, month or whenever. I have a Texas beta and ordered one of these for my son thinking it was unlocked. I am just going to call them on monday get an RMA and send it back. No Harm, No Foul. If you need an unlocked one right now go to Ebay...What special people do you mean? The people in Texas, or just random special people other than you?
#1 Why don't I get an RMA and send it back ?? I spent 3 hours on the phone today trying to get an RMA. After being on the phone for 40 minutes and then getting transferred to the FINAL person I needed to speak with about the RMA I was on hold for 7 minutes and it disconnected. When I called back and spent I don't know how long with them I got to the Sales Return Specialist .. She said someone will call me back and discuss this with me within 48 hours. You may find that hard to believe but you will see for yourself what it is like calling Dell for anything.
#2 Special People. Everyone got an email saying CLICK HERE to pre-order your Dell Streak. On that page it says the phone is locked to AT&T .. On Twitter someone posted a Pre-Order link .. A different one. When I showed that link to one of those "chat support" people I said .. Was I or was I not on a UNLOCKED Streak order page. He went from the beginning next >> next >>> to the end and he agreed. My phone should be UNLOCKED ordering from there.
So that has nothing to do with Dell putting a disclaimer on every page. That order link was for an unlocked phone ..
I told my friend with the Beta to hold off a bit .. I am either going to get a Dell UNLOCKED Streak, not Beta, or I am going to return my phone and forget it. That is if I can get an RMA number .. Good luck getting yours. And yes, I totally believe there are people who got unlocked phones .. but I was not one of them ..

About 10 minutes on the phone, RMA issued and Prepaid UPS shipping labels emailed to me so I do not have to pay for that! They tried to get me to keep it by giving me $50.00 back, but have Tmo so I said no go.

Just finished talking to someone name Shaquellar in the Dell Mobility department. She confirmed that the unlocked Streaks will be out this week and she also said "we don't have a way of giving you an unlock code today but we will a little later this week." maybe if enough people call and speak to them in DELL MOBILITY they will put a rush on it .. But you gotta get to the Mobility department .. sales or orders are NO HELP AT ALL.

Customs is sitting on my Note! Help me with this form.

My Note was supposed to be delivered this morning before 10:30am, but I noticed the tracking page showed a clearance delay, saying "Description provided is insufficient to classify commodity."
A FedEx woman called and said the FCC form is incomplete. They sent me one to fill out since Handtec is gone for the day and I'm clueless on some of the items on it. How should I answer? Below is the info the form requests. What I don't know:
Does the Note have an FCC ID? I'm assuming I'm the consignee; does that make Handtec the importer? What's the harmonized tariff number? How should I answer part II?

This looks pretty complicated. If I were you, I would contact Handtec. It's better to wait an extra day, rather than taking a chance and messing up the form, potentially leading to further delay or extra duty(Handtec might be calling it a 'electronic item' instead of a cellphone to avoid high duty maybe, that's what they do when they export to India).
Just put this : "For gods sake this is the latest and greatest toy and I need it now! It is inhuman to separate man from his latest gadget!!!"

My Gnote was also held in customs but different reason. I checked my tracking # and it said Clearance Delay, "Description provided is insufficient to classify commodity." I called FedEx and they asked me what is in the package, value and etc.. I gave all the info and the forward it to the Customs and hours later I got an email that it was released and will be delivered the next day. The problem was Handed put Electronic item for the description of the package, and that's why they wanted to know what is in the package. Finally got it this morning and was suppose to receive it yesterday. Good Luck.
Call the lady like she said. Told me if I had any questions to call her, so I did and she walked me through the entire thing.

It arrived and it's awesome! Thanks again for the help with the form! Here's how mine looked with my personal info removed (I didn't bother with a PDF markup program and just hand wrote it since I was going to have to sign it by hand anyways.) The broker said that I was both the consignee and the importer, so my name/address went there.

What'd you put for the harmonized tariff number and FCC ID?
I just edited my post and attached the filled out form. Harmonized tariff number I got from that post drgopoos linked to, and it's 8517.12.0080 and the FCC ID I looked up online and put AL3GTI9220. At the time I wasn't 100% certain that was the correct number for the version I was being sent, but I've looked under the battery now that I have it and it is the correct number.

I recently sold a metropcs andriod smartphone to an white man early today, he went to metropcs store and pay the $50 monthly bill to get the phone working. 2 hour later he called me and told me that metropcs internet is very slow and ask for his money back because he is very frustrated and angry. White man who is an AT&T iphone user and totally brainless about smartphone because the only phone he know how to used is a iphone. I told him no on the refund part, so he left some threatens voicemail that he going come to my house and do sh** to me, well he actually don't know where I live, he might go to metropcs store and get my address from them and come threatens me. Should I call the cops on his ass if he really do come and threatens me...lol..
Can anyone give me some inputs on this subject, the phone number that the white guy pay to activate is under my name, will he be able to obtain my information such as house address from metropcs? Will metropcs disclose my information to the white guy? if metropcs do disclose my information to the white guy and he came to my house to do whatever he say he was going to do to me then can I file a lawsuit and take metro to court for violating my right? I don't want to meet him again and give him a refund because he threatens me with some crazy voicemail..lol..

dude, wtf? is this a serious post?
There should be no reason any carrier can activate a phone under someone else's identity unless they have your permission, account info, etc. Did you sell someone an active phone?
If you are truly concerned with this and this is a real statement, then call Metro and have them cancel the account. If it is under your name, then you should have no issues doing so. Then have them remove your information from this account. You may have to do this yourself, I sold a phone under Virgin mobile and I called them and had them remove my info from the account. They may ask you if you are sure, lol but just say yes...
Dont ever sell an active phone...Always delete all personal information from the phone before selling it and reset it back to stock...

The phone wasn't working, got disconnected for like a month, I got a new contract with T-Mobile with the s3, before I sold it to the guy I did do a reset to default, yea maybe I should give metropcs a call now and ask them to remove all my information on the account since I sold the phone to another party

- Fill in the first name, last name, email ID, Zip code, password, device model, purchase date and serial number, WiFi Mac Address. (the later can be found in Settings->About->Status)
- Once you have filled this, verify once again.
- Done? Click on Submit.
You will get an email consisting Google Play Promotion code to the Email ID provided in the above step. Usually it will not take more than a day for the mail to arrive.

You know that for Dropbox you must complete those tasks from the "Get Started" section.
But I'm assuming you did that allready.
Don't know what's with Dropbox lately. I connected a HTC One which should also come with 25gb bonus storage, but... nothing...
For the Note 8 problem, try contacting Samsung on their facebook and tell them your problem.
"For questions or concerns registering your Note 8.0 device to receive this offer, please contact Samsung Support at www.facebook.com/SamsungSupport."

support said there was something wrong with the registering website and said my error would be fixed.
Worked fine for me, both the 50Gb Dropbox and $25 giftcard.
However, even if it states the gift card only is valid in the US, just use a US proxy and redeem the gift card yourself instead of giving $25 away.

Everything on my end registered okay and told me I'd receive an email conforming my play credit and that email never showed up?
I had no problems getting the Play credit, but how do I redeem/claim the 50GB free dropbox? My dropbox only shows 3.5GBs.
Code would be useless to you as the us models are specific and WiFi and serial show as error and there's no way to select Canadian model which is axac. Vpn and proxy do not help as it is simply model, serial and WiFi that have to match in Samsung database.

FWIW, I had to use Safari, using Chrome on Mac kept failing field validation on the S/N and MAC address.

I had to run drop box for a first time, then drop box emailed me a confirmation letter about the 50GB's!

Tried that on the first day, haven't received any emails from Dropbox. Just tried it again tonight, settings says my account has 3.5GBs.
Edit - Spoke too soon. Just got an email from Dropbox, had to jump through some hoops but I got it now.

I'd previously installed Dropbox on the Note 8, created, and connected my gmail account to it. When I made that previous post, I opened the app again, poked around in the settings then hit the Home button and set the Note down. Few minutes later, an email from Dropbox arrived. Had to go through a few more steps on their 'Getting Started' checklist, mostly crap I didn't want to do, but once done, the storage got bumped up.
i had to make an ew account and it worked just fine. wouldnt let me use my old account. o well ill just move my 2gb of old crap over
I did everything I needed to do, and never got an email like it stated I would. I actually contacted Samsung and they stated they started a "ticket" about my issue and I should check my email for it within the next 3 days... That was yesterday. Still nothing. Patiently waiting lol
i had a note 8, and i returned it. now i bought another one, and it tells me i CANT register with my email address becasue i alreay have before. what a crock...
anyway around this? i NEVER even use my free google play stuff. since i NEVER recieved it...

Samsung Trade-In Site Not Working

I've tried several times and the site tells me my IMEI and Wi-Fi MAC Address is not valid. I removed them from the site for protection.

Are you entering in the new devices imei and wifi mac address? make sure they are connected to the same network or wifi? This is making me really anxious.......

Just trying to offer some helpful advice . Anyways i felt that maybe Samsung verified you had the device in your hand by doing the wifi mac address thing by detecting that you are currently connected to the wifi with that device. i dunno......
Same here, maybe it has to do with these phones schedule to be released on the 17th and they may not have the IMEI's active in their systems.

I was able to submit my Sprint Note 2 through the website. I had two hex numbers under device status. The shorter number didn't register but went through when I submitted the longer hex number. For my Sprint device, the longer hex number had an additional two digit prefix.

Yes. Folks at tmobile said the site is to verify that the trade-in device has clean esn etc.
I did NOT write down my trade in devices' imei or wifi mac address.... because in noplace on the samsung promotion site did it say we had to.
But i believe it's the note 4s info that you have to input? I got on a chat with a samsung rep and she said it is because the note 4 is officially released for us on 10/17 so starting Friday the site will work for us.

You're correct, the site does not specify whether it's trade-in device or new device. I guess we have a month and half to figure it out.
I'll post some more details as soon as I hear back from Samsung. I mailed the documents through usps.
Edit: I found the instructions under official rules of the page. It's the numbers for the pre-ordered device and not the trade-in device. Resubmitting documents tomorrow lol.

I guess u got the reason why I asked now! Yea its the note 4 numbers not the trade in device! I think most of the guys from tmo doesnt know about the trade in and just goes by what they read!

Pre-ordered mine in store and made sure they printed out a receipt showing the trade in! Not completely sure it went through though! After submission it didnt give me an error message but I went back to the start of the page! No confirmation received other than the coupon code for samsung accessories!
Can anybody confirm what happened to them upon submission?

Well the fact that it went through means progress? Lol
Thing was i started off putting in the email ad then clicked submit and left! Resumed during the afternoon and input the numbers needed and the jpegs of my receipt! After clicking submit it went back to the first page so now I am iffy if that was good enough or what! :what:
