Hello Oneplus One family! I just pulled the trigger and bought my 64GB Oneplus One. I'm really excited.
I'll be upgrading from a Nexus 4. Its been my baby for a while now, but it will go to another good home. I think I'm most excited about the additional space (8GB just isn't anywhere near enough...) and that gorgeous 1080p screen! Hopefully that massive thing will fit into my pockets

Welcome to the club! I'm also upgrading from my good ole' Nexus 4. It has served me well but OPO has prompted me to move on. Glad to hear that yours is going to a good home. Also, congratulations!

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that I've taken on a position at a new company. I can't say enough how awesome this community has been...it's incredible - the amount of positive feedback I've received. During my short time here, I really did try my best to help as many people as possible, and hoped that ASUS HQ would provide little unique tidbits of information exclusive to the community here. Things like the Marshmallow update schedule...it's been like herding cats, pulling teeth, (insert another idiom here). Regarding that, by the way, HQ is finalizing the update schedule next month some time, so I hope they release that information publicly.
I really hope people continue to love their ZenFones, and that the community continues to positively contribute and help each other experience the best in their devices. I've been proud to work at ASUS. I know we make great technology - and I know we have parts of the business that we can improve upon. Admittedly, we're not perfect, but really strive to provide the best experience possible.
With all that said, I wish this community the best - I'll be around - Android is my passion, so you'll be able to find me lurking 'round these parts.

ASUS is actually OK with the mobiles but personally I love ASUS for thier best PC Mobo's available right now in the market, and the GX700 is amazing, the first watercooled notebook

The past week I've been reading and watching tons of comparisons and reviews of the new devices in the market and i refined my options to these 2 amazing Oneplus 3t and huawei mate 9 pro. They are very close to each other almost on every comparison tests and each one of them has pros and cons making it really difficult to choose between them.
I speak for myself I'm more into mate 9 pro but im little worried about the future support as this device released several monthes ago and yet no root available for it and quite few updates released. also there is no subforum for it till now in spite of mate 9 and 1+3T have theirs.
I'm really confused now
what do you suggest guys? which one would you go for if you were me?

There is a thread here for device suggestions, pot this question there. Always post in the thread that are relevant to your question instead of creating a new thread, it wastes server space.

Hello everyone,
As i am sure you're aware, Oneplus recently told the public that they weren't going to support project treble with their devices. This only concerns the oneplus 5t but maybe with a bit of luck and community support, they shall do the same for their other devices on oreo.

Am I the only one laughing right now. We have a forum for the Oneplus 5T if you are not aware. also why is the project treble so important to you when Oneplus is already doing a good job providing regular updates to the OP5 and OP5T

As I mentioned above, I have posted this to spread the word about the poll. You DON'T have to sign it if you don't want to but it would greatly help us if you did.
Please post on the 5T forums if this is regarding your device. There are already 2 threads concerning the change.org petition in the 3/3T forums. Please do a search before spamming with repeat posts.
OnePlus also confirmed that they took the petition into account, and they said they still will not implement Project Treble into the 3/3T/5/5T.
Appreciate the effort but they are not going to do it. Had they changed the partition tables before release, might have worked out. As things stand and they will since they care about giving the 18 months life support and nothing more as such, Project Treble is a dead end. We can hope with the 6. If there is a 6 that is.
But then I still feel Oneplus is a way better OEM than many others out there that promise things and don't deliver without even mentioning anything to their customers. At least Oneplus talks, even if its sometimes to tell us we are screwed. Appreciate the honesty.
In the meantime, enjoy your 5T and support it gets till the release of P.
