Yes I would also like to know the functions working on this Rom. Thanks for your great work!

At blog page it says "the only major device function that is not working is the camera." so ill look into that
But first there will be a big meal at the parents of my future wife, so ill report back in a few hours.

I would be extremely surprised if that was the case, considering we dont even have mobile data working on CM12 for the Z3 yet. But I'd be happy to be proved wrong

I will report later bout it
---------- Post added at 03:22 PM ---------- Previous post was at 02:23 PM ----------
Just flashed it, booting now
---------- Post added at 03:27 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:22 PM ----------
Getting a "baseband unknown" after flashing, no mobile net work atm

Checked now...and the aren`t sound,mobil data,camara...
A lot of bugs....
:crying:

Xperia Z3 D6603
so all the needed functions are broken and bugs still exist throughout the system.
Dear Santa,
All I did throughout the year is being a good boy but how come my present is an unlikeable.

Ive switched to Slipstream for the time being, cause without phone and mobile data, the Z3 is useless to me

Oh, man... I got all excited about it, but it's still full of bugs. Well, waiting for development is the price we have to pay for getting the newest, shiniest phone.

I can't even download it. I get an error when I first try it, then I try again and it says I've reached the hourly download limit.

What about Xperia Z3 D6653
So if i'm using Z3 D6653...i can't use it?

use leecher site.I also wonder why they choose such place instead of androidfile etc.

Will we see all the fixes in CM12 here in the pure AOSP?

a lot of changed including telephony this week
please test on as many netrworks and report back
new roms are released

Hello,
The new update is very nice. The performance is buttery smooth on stock.
Given the way that the three files must be manually flashed via fastboot, are there any confirmed working recoveries at the moment? If I could flash a gapps package, I would gladly use this as a daily driver.

You can install the latest build (boot, system, userdata) then flash the andro kernel boot.img. Boot into TWRP. Flash gapps, and then reflash the original boot.img. Boom Gapps.
Any chance to see a working camera and working video playback for youtube soon? Would love to run this instead of cyan****

A great notice for all of us!
I can't wait to give it a try!
Its a good thing I did a search because I was just about to post this too. Looks like they already started the daily updates, the 27th just got released. I am assuming its just like the first release and we just flash both zips to install it. Sounds like its not the initial preview that was released the first day so it might be more functional. Who knows, not sure if I want to risk it right now.

can any1 post any changes they find
I really don't want to make flashable ZIPs every day, but I might as well. I'll make a nightly section today or tomorrow, but I'm really only going to do Maguro for now.

Just wondering, but on the daily downloads page there are zip files similar to the ones that I used to flash when it was first release. Can these be flashed in the same manor? Also notice that one of the them is a zip.md5sum file, assuming that one would need to be renamed to just .zip in order to flash. Not sure, I sent in an email to Ubuntu to clarify because there download instruction page does not talk about the zip files.

They're meant for the Ubuntu phablet-flash as far as I know. You need the IMG file, and that's not exactly flashable in CWM or TWRP right now.

Thanks
Anyone want to start a thread or wiki who can keep track of changes that people notice. What apps are showing, what works, etc? Maybe a "change log" of changes noticed throughout past week or since the first dailies, if we have enough room. I would do this myself, but do not have the time to backup, flash, document, reload backup, update thread, etc.
But simply if i download quantal-preinstalled-armel+maguro.zip of the day and phablet.zip wouldnt it be enought to flash ubuntu?

I'm not sure. But I meant custom, debloated ZIPs (without the dummy contacts, messages, apps, and etc). I haven't flashed any of them yet, as I've been invested other things today.

Does anyone know if there's a changelog for the everyday builds?

I read on the Ubuntu-Touch mailing list that change logs will be implemented next work week (Mar 4th-8th) for the daily builds.
Thanks for that. I flashed the initial Developer Preview and then flashed a slightly newer build from this past Monday/Tuesday. Didn't notice any obvious differences. A change log would be really helpful.

Busy flashing the latest build. I'll report back later if it has any noticeable changes.

Just finished flashing. I can't see any differences. Same fake tweets, same fake phone calls etc. I'll scratch around a bit more. Maybe they fixed some apps or something.

[ROM][LOLLIPOP 5.1][UNOFFICIAL] Cyanogenmod: cm-12.1 for SM-T705 16gb

This is a build of Cyanogenmod 12.1 for the Tab S 8.4 LTE (SM-T705). This build is based on the last copy I had of Eousphoros' device tree source prior to them being deleted. All credit therefore goes to Eousphoros for the original port. I have only fixed a couple of build errors against the latest 12.1 source.
Please note that although I've checked that the basics are working there will probably be a few bugs. I don't think the device tree I had saved was the latest from the last of Eousphoros' builds so there may even be regressions from his last build. On the plus side the build should incorporate the security fixes in CM 12.1 since then.
I have limited spare time and I'm fairly new to building Android, so in all likelihood I won't be able to fix any issues you have quickly. I'll post a new build from time to time if people are interested, but don't expect daily / weekly builds.
**** Update 06/09/15 - I've made a new build which hopefully fixes the microphone during calls. Link is updated below.
**** Update 31/08/15 - It is my experience that the mobile data is a lot more stable if you have a KitKat radio installed and don't install the Lollipop libs. This is also backed up from comments in the thread I therefore recommend that if you plan on running this Rom you flash a KitKat radio. I use version T705XXU1ANF. I've put a link to this below (use the 'CP' slot in Odin).
Installation
Flash the zip file in recovery (I used TWRP)
Flash Google apps
If your coming from a stock Lollipop rom, rather than Kitkat, then you need to flash the lollipop-radio.zip. (this will give you the correct libs for the Lollipop baseband to get data working.) **** See note above. It is more stable to flash the KitKat modem.

many thanks for your great job !!!! you are the one and only, make offer to load a new CM 12.1 for my 705 !!! must flash it !!! thanks
Thanks should go to @mtdoughty as he's got everything work and has obviously worked hard doing so. I don't mind providing a permanent mirror for anyone who needs it.

Hmm, for me, youtube is not working, video wont start to play. Do I need to flash libs or install additinal video players?
Update: oh, youtube works with chrome, but not with the default browser for me ... strange.
@muff99
perhaps it may be that YouTube indeed his own player with brings, but in CM 12.1 the link missing for stock player samsung? I was already with earlier versions. the same can happen if I use the stock player on my ironrom uninstall, because I prefer to work with the MX Player. is just a thought, not a fact.
all things work great
call dial nd ending can b achieved by another external dialer app
bug mic not working unless ur r on speaker phone or headset
Is data working?
Data is working for me but I can barely use the phone for calls as the sound is very bad and drop the call frequently. I've tried with earphones, BT headset and the tab itself with the same bad audio.
Anyone with the same symptoms?

Are there no Marshmallow ROMs for Verizon?

I see there are 6.0 ROMs for most variants, however, the Verizon S5 Dev Edition is not being added to the the builds. Is it because there are so few out there? Maybe I need to use the KLTE and change the APN or something. I'm not sure. I'm not a developer. Just checking. Anyone care to shed some light on this for me?

If you have Verizon Dev Edition then feel free to flash my unofficial CM13.0 builds. I had to update kernel, kltevzw, and vendor repositories to make it work (see XDA profile for github). I've been using them personally for about a month.

It looks like I had only uploaded my nightlies through 27 Mar. If you are hitting the problem in the below bug report, there was a commit to CM that should be in my 29 Mar build. I'd recommend grabbing my latest and hopefully it fixes things.

If that is a no-go then when I get home I can identify a combo that I know works -- I clean flashed last week. Dirty flashing after that initial go seems to be ok.
I'll wait to hear from you when you get home. I like the rom very much. But I need apps too.

Did you try the 29 Mar build? The CM patch was in there that should have fixed the setup bug. That said, give this combo a try:
Opengapps 20160227: https://github.com/opengapps/arm/releases/tag/20160227
Specifically, I used 20160227 mini: https://github.com/opengapps/arm/releases/download/20160227/open_gapps-arm-6.0-mini-20160227.zipMy 23 Mar Build: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24459283995308580
Please make sure to do a full wipe -- format /system, format /cache, wipe /data.
Keep in mind that the only thing special about this build is the proprietary files, init.cc, and kernel config -- we're fighting CM/GAPPS bugs and compatibility problems here.

My list of compiled Roms for Motorola Xoom

This is the forum for the roms I compile for Motorola Xoom.
I have nicknamed these future roms Moto-Rola for personal reasons. xD
I will try to make them faster and put some cute things on them, even if I start with KitKat versions.
As you all know, I am currently using some of Schischu's sources, I am just following his hard work and making it available for everyone.
This first rom is the Cyanogenmod 11 version for Motorola Xoom Wingray you already know.
I will compile next the Everest version, you will have to try it for me if I am able to do it. I do not have the everest version of the Motorola Xoom so...

Yep - flashed those files and seems 100% perrrrfect
Hi guys, thanks for the new build!
I would like a question, do I have to follow the procedures to in "BigPart Repartition Upgrade and Resource Center by realjumy" to format for bigpart?
I have a xoom GEDfied - It had a google official release. I am not sure if it was a UMTS or CDMA device before - it has a simcard slot.
I have tried the big part process many times and with no success - in the end, when flashing the CM 11 image, it says it is not a big part device... Is it because I am using wingray images?
Thanks very much!
In the dropbox folder there is a recovery you can flash, TWRP 3.0.1. with sdcard support...I suppose you need the bigpart thing to flash it.
But here it is how they did it for bigpart.

Yeah, I have already tried that tutorial (like 10 times) for bigpart, no success.
Maybe it is something with my hardware (I am not sure if it is gsm, cdma or wifi) - everybuild I try says I don't have bigpart partitioning.
I will wait for an everest build

Maybe it is something with my hardware (I am not sure if it is gsm, cdma or wifi) - everybuild I try says I don't have bigpart partitioning.
I will wait for an everest build

The easier way to know what variant is your Xoom is to check the model number at the back.
The problem you are going to have with most of the late builds is that they need big partition. So you need to find the easy to partition your tablet.

I will attach a picture here, I have not found the variant, I guess it is a prototype unit.
Yeah, bigpart is necessary...

@jubarim See that? My model number is mz601 (Everest) check your model number at the back of the tablet.
Thanks munecito! Mine don't have this sticker, I will post a picture tonight.
Well. It will help if you tell us if yours is a wifi only model, LTE? Where did you buy it (country)? Does it have a branded rom installed? Anything at all to identify it.

Uploading everest build to the dropbox folder.
I am not 100% sure it will work, but please try it and tell me.
It will take 1 or 2 hours to upload so now it is still not there.

About 4 hours later and still not showing. Maybe the upload was interrupted.
Can't wait to try it.:good:
My internet failed, I will upload it now.
Everest uploaded.
I think it will work, but I am not 100% since I do not have an everest xoom.
Please try it, tell me if it works so I can put it on the main post.
I am going to test Everest. But I have a problem:
In the BigPart Repartition thread they say the following:
Put all needed resources on your microsd card! You will need the original TWRP 2.6.3.0 touch recovery from @runandhide05, TWRP 2.6.3.0 BigPart version, your desired rom, and the BigPart boot image that goes with your desired rom. The BigPart boot images can be found in the next section.

So what versions of TWRP do I put on the SD card? The one from the beginning of the thread is BigPart version?
It is the Schischu TWRP 3.0.1 recovery with added sd card support. I always do
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
If recovery.img is the name of the recovery image.
I cannot guarantee it works.

just got this device

Hi I was just given this tablet. It's a galaxy tab 2 10.1. so it's model number is gt-p5113. The android version is 4.2.2 build number jdq29.p5113ueucmk3
It was hardly ever used by the previous owner. When I charged it up and booted it up it was very very laggy. Of couse I did a factory reset fist thing. I went through and disabled all the useless apps on it. And it seems to be better.
I would.like to know if this tablet can be unlocked and install a clean version of Android on it. AOSP is what I would like to do with this. So is that possible? I have been using nexus and pixel for so long it's hard to remember all the stuff involved with doing all this. I would.like to get a newer version of Android on it. It doesn't have to be android 10 just a stable beer version. Is odin still the way to go with samsung? I do have android debug software on my PC so my pc should be good to go just need to install samsung drivers.
The main purpose of this tab is going to be for vision chats. I am moving so I want to be able.to see my nephew.
I. Not a rookie at flashing and modding but it has been a long time so if someone can give me a good place to start and there experienced with this tablet I would greatly appreciate it. If I can't put AOSP on then I will.jist disable as.much as I can and install pixel.launcher and all that and go that route. Just let me know what you pros think I'm open to whatever you guys have to say

thank you for the suggestion. I was able to get 4.4.4 running completely aosp. Very nice and clean build. However I cant figure out root and I can't get anything higher than 4.4.4 going. It installs 6.0 but it won't boot. Most of the links in the galaxy tab form are not valid because this is so old. Is the file system different? How can i get 6 or 7 on this tablet? I can't even find stock files from Samsung to flash with Odin anymore. Do you have any valid linksorfilesfor this device? Or any advice on where to look? And again thank you for your help.

Thank you again I appreciate it. I did wipe everything I even tried to redownload 6.0. The only thing I can think of is I am trying to install from the external sd card. Maybe I should try to put it on the internal sd card. But 4.4.4 works fine from the external card so I don't know. and oddly 4.4.4 only works with the pico gapps all other gapps make it not boot weird right? I have never come across that before. I never really had much luck modding tablets. And its been a long time since I did anything other than pixel/nexus. I am definitely a more pure android fanboy. anyway thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.
edit: Ah I feel like an idiot. I was using an older version of twrp i found a newer version thank to you. 6.0 booted with no problems!!!!
