press the bottom right hand corner, text will come up, post the error above the update file name (error 7) blah blah blah. we will try to help

Please re-download the file, it sounds like your download might have gotten corrupted.

do you have linux dwll?
are you sure there is not more than just that error? there should be something more detailed above that error.
if that is all the error u are getting, redownload the file anyways to a new name, copy it to the phone after deleting the old one. maybe take a picture of the error screen?

Cannot revert to stock after installing Overcome 1.2.3

Hello All, I'm receiving an error when trying to revert to stock from Overcome UX mod.
I'm receiving the following error...
assert failed: getprop("ro.bootloade") == "P7100BUKB7"
E:Error in /sdcard/hc-3.1_ota-full_sam_tab_10.1.zip
(Status 7)
Installation Aborted.
Any ideas?

More information, please. Which tab do you have? What are you doing to return to stock? What preceded the error message.

Sorry. Using a 16gb WiFi US Galaxy Tab 10.1. I figured it out though.
Had to flash recovery-cwm_4.0.0.4-sam-tab-10.1.tar.md5 via odin
Then installed the stock hc-3.1_ota-full_sam_tab_10.1.zip via cwm
Then odined stockretail.tar.md5... voila back to stock.

Hello there ! Im JustHope and yes has you can see i am new, plus i am noob.
it doesn't matter i speak english in the best way i can plus i wanna get some help in the best way you can. I've been looking this website arround for long long time without being member. I've hear that my baseband not available for TELUS quebec (Canada) for the version of the ''roms'' i just download and flash and install...
i have flash the phone with C:\Users\Downloads\3.4.3_11-stock.uktmobile_blur\3.4.3_11-Stock.UKTmobile_BLUR.sbf
with RSD LITE v4.9
my phone is now booting but at the motoblur starting guide its saying something like google app store and i can't see anything else because the phone alway reboot.....
What i want is to reset my phone to make it work.
How can i flash the phone right to make it work with my country.
If you people want to help me and you need more information i will provide it for sure and i will help you in other thing that i can.
I am from quebec city (canada) if you speak french private message me a way to speak with you or chat, or if you speak english as the forum rule say maybe if you trust me enought ( hard thing...) we can have a speak for you to help me because this is my company phone and i was pissed off the lag and slow phone so i decide to act like x-men then i seen the noob result !

Press and hold Vol- and Power button. When you get to the android with yellow exclamation mark, press Vol- and Vol+ simultaneously and then wipe data/cache.
Eventually, if this doesn't help, you can flash a new stock ROM (just ask if you should flash a particular ROM, before you do something irreversible)

i just tryed to flash this too and it doesn't work just saying fail ! like i am !

REBOOT FIX but no baseband ( no signal )
fixed reboot fail problem now i am not able to get a signal ( service ) from telus... because i used to flash my phone by accident with a UKT mobile thing.... trying telus one now.. waiting for you reply matter thanks

[Q] E:cant open

Hey XDA hows it going,
Its noob time,
I have rooted my phone and have installed CWM/TWRP so i can carry on install roms and testing for my favorite developers.
I have run into a snag...
When i try installing a ZIP from these recovery i get the error "E:Cant open /external_sd/romname.zip (bad) instalation aborted"
I cannot for the life of me find any guides/help from here or google on the query and wondered if anyone has experienced this and what to do? currently my phone is bricked and i am downloading the 2gb :/ stock firmware to odin flash but thats gonna take a few hours, anyone know whats going wrong?

Bought new phone 2 days ago before Boot Loop, and it was completely new. Version was 1.13, I didn't unlock bootloader ever.

Enable Adoptable Storage ?
Like the Zenfone 2 Laser (ZE500KL), Adoptable Storage is disabled by looking at the changelog.
I'm about to buy this phone but I do really need it, I know it's possible to enable it back (with adb, etc) but I want to be sure before.
Can someone who switched to Android Marshmallow try to get it back and tell if they've succeeded on the Zenfone Selfie ?

I tried almost 3 page in Google Search to fix. First of All I didn't unlock bootloader and downloaded 3 firmware which is M, 1.13(Stock), 1.15. And try to flash them all. Every time I failed. Also try to flash with flashboot mode also same problem as like as Install From SD.

I had the same problem bro, just flash the cn recovery and flash, your're good to go.

Already fixed after posting that comment. Now working with CM but no more ASUS stock rom.

Can't flash the ROM on my phone
I already tried to flash this ROM with my phone (Build LRX22G.CN_user_1.13.40.661_20151103044030520_2015052101030030000500001) several times via "apply update via sd card" and as well via adb sideload. Both of them don't work. I also tried to flash different Lollipop stock firmwares (WW_1.12.40.382 and WW_1.15.40.1582), doesn't work either. I always get the errors: "E: failed to verify whole-file signature" and "E: signature verification failed". Can somebody help me?
Edit: I ordered the phone from China, maybe that's why I have this "strange" build number? Is there any possibility to flash Marshmallow on a Chinese phone? In my options menu I don't have any updates option unfortunately
