Whatsapp lag / freeze. Could it be root issue? - Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello everyone,
I have problem with my note 4 and whatsapp. Whenever someone send me videos the app start to lag and freeze until the videos are downloaded. I tried everything I know from clearing catch to reinstalling whatsapp and none of these steps worked. I thought its from whatsapp it self but my wife Z1 Sony works fine. I thought maybe its because of root? because I know xposed module app cause note 4 to lag like crazy until you freeze S health. Could whatsapp have the same issue with root?
Please help if you can.
Regards

Camera can record, but can't play in gallery.

Hi everyone.
I got a Samsung Galaxy S4 and used Titanium Backup to remove all the bloatware.
I'm completely new to the Android OS and got a little too happy with all the uninstalling, and now am faced with two problems:
1) (More urgent): I am able to record videos perfectly fine with the default Camera app, but when I try and replay whatever I just recorded in the Gallery, it says "Unable to Play Video." Do any of you guys know what system app is needed to be reinstalled resolve this?
2) The default music player will not open at all. I did not freeze it/removed it, so idk why it doesn't open.
I installed Rocket Player as a substitute, but would like to know how to fix the default one.
Again, I would appreciate it if any of you guys know what system app is needed to be reinstalled to resolve this.
If anyone also knows a site that has all the system apps for the Galaxy S4, that would also be lovely.
Thank you very much for your time.

You may have removed a necesary component, and flashing back to stock will be necessary... Try clearing cache and data for the Gallery...

How would I flash back to stock?
Go to titanium backup and unfreeze "video player 1.1". Should work after that.

Facebook Messenger Video Freezing

Hey guys, so I installed 5.0.1 through Kies onto my n910g and for some reason, Facebook Messenger videos freeze when I try to play them.
Sometimes it'll play a few seconds of it before freezing and saying "Something went wrong" or with a LOT of luck, it'll play the entire thing.
Has anyone had this issue and/or knows of a fix?
I've completely wiped everything and reinstalled the firmware with no success...
same issue
I to am unable to play videos sent to me on messenger.i am using the s6 and any videos Sent through messenger play for 3 seconds then an error occurs.tried everything to get it wheeling but nothing.
Same thing
I have the same issue on s6 aswell, please help someone!
This sounds like an app problem. Go to the app's page on Play store and send an email to the developer. If every one of you did it, then they'll know it's an issue present on different devices, so (if they care) they'll look into the issue.

Pushnotification Bug

Hi all,
last week, I decided to root my device and install xposed (3.0 alpha4) and a few modules, like Android N-ify, GalaxyXMod, GravityBox, YoutubeAdAway and Youtube Background Playback..
Everything works fine and I'm totally satisfied, but there is one big issue.
It seems, I have pushnotification problems. Sometimes when I open instantmessegers like
Whatsapp (also tried with GBWhatsapp) or Snapchat, the messages just come in when I launch the app.
So the problem is, that I sometimes get no Pushnotifications but when I launch Whatsapp an hour later,
there are 10+ new messages. Same procedure at Snapchat. It seems, that the apps just refresh when I open them.
I tried everything to fix this bugs, I updatet Samsungs Push Services, I allowed background data, I reinstalled the affected Apps but the problem is still there.
Then I decided to dont delete whatsapp from my recent apps and since them it seems it works.
Is there a way to get realtime notifications even the app is closed by recent apps, like before?
Is there anybody with an idea or a hint?
Thank you very much. Have a nice day.

I experience this with my WhatsApp messages, I thought it was something to with my WhatsApp, to be honest, I haven't noticed it with other apps.
I have the same problem with viber and whatsapp, it might be that way because of settings where you can save network data but im not 100% sure about that.

At Data-usage -> Background-data i turned on everything. So background-data should not be the problem here.
The thing is, that my colleague has the same xposed modules and the same root like me but he has no problems.
Also the problem is only present since i rooted and flashed xposed.
The issue is really disturbing.

Serious WhatsApp Problems

Good evening XDA-Community,
I just bought an Galaxy S7 Edge and at the beginning I was really satisfied by the device.
Until WhatsApp began to crash ...
It started without a reason, that WhatsApp instantly crashes when I try to open up the home menu, where all the chats are.
I am able to answer a incoming message on the notification bar but when I try to open up the app itself it crashes.
At first I thought it would be a problem with the newest version of WhatsApp or something but I installed an older one and it crashed again.
(And yes I cleaned the whole Whatsapp Folder and cleared the cache before installing the old version of WA).
It is really annoying.
Did anyone had this problem before and maybe have a solution for it.
Thanks in advance!

[MI 9T] Camera freezing when opening from Whatsapp

Hey guys,
Everytime I try to open the camera from Whatsapp it freezes and I have to tap back and open it again in order to work.
When I open the camera from the camera app itself or any other third party app like Telegram it works flawlessly, the problem is just with Whatsapp.
I'm on updated stock global.
Anyone experiencing this problem? Any solution?
Thanks.

Update to the last miui rom, it will fix and if still crash reset to factory
I have the exact same problem. Doesn't happen every time but it does happen often enough. Re-installing the rom didn't fix it, or the other many bugs that Android 10 brought with it.
