I am trying to find a drawing app that lets you draw perfect squares and circles directly AND supports the s-pen.
All the default Samsung apps do not allow us to directly draw shapes. You have to sketch the shape and transform them.

OK, go thru the Samsung Galaxy apps store on the phone, and there is an app called "Autodesk Sketchbook for Galaxy". It has circle and square/rectangle drawing tools.

I had it installed, but I had to dig through the menus to find the shapes. Thank you.

Hey,
I just ordered my nexus 7 and I'm going to use it in school to take notes, with a keyboard case.
What app should I use to take notes, where I can type and also draw things with a stylus?
Thanks

Yes I saw that thread, but I am looking for something that is not recognizing my handwriting but an app where I can type and make drawings at the same time.
Thanks for your input anyways.
Try whiteboard text app. It's for making notes, and a second screen let's you draw, and the drawing is inserted into the note.

Thanks, could you link me to the app in the play store, as there are a couple of them.
I use evernote to take notes in class. However there is an addon for it called sketch that allows you to insert drawings into notes.

I went to open a PowerPoint file and my nexus 4 gave me the option of using quick office. It worked fine
The odd thing is that quickoffice is not in my app list at all...
It is only the viewer version and has no editing. Google now own quick office and the normal app is not in the store anymore
Wonder if left this in by mistake or by design?
Do other have the app as well? ( you need to open an office for to see the option)
its in the apps control panel, its a system app

See it there too
Though not in the app drawer
IIRC, I think they've had this bundled in since the Nexus One.
Would make sense if it was included. Google technically owns them now.
That is nice
I prefer Kingsoft Office

Does anyone know of a good app that works well with the S-Pen that is math oriented? I am trying to use my Note 10.1 2014 to take Multivariable Calculus notes. Right now I am using S-Note and going back and forth between my keyboard and drawing with the S-Pen but that isn't always the most convenient thing in the world, especially with 3D diagrams. I am using the Multivariable Wolfram Alpha app to compute stuff and draw things in the multi window to help but it could still work better.

Lecture notes could be better since you can use it in portrait and get more usable space. Draw everything I suppose. Idk iv many have math specific options like snote though

It's a nice calculator, but the OP is looking for a note taking application.
I personally still use LectureNotes for my note taking, although I do wish it was vector driven.

I found some good high res pictures of notebook paper and set that as the background for my math notes, maybe you can find a background paper image with the right amount of line spacings that would help you.
Papyrus works well for note taking... It won't recognize Greek symbols but it does real well for notes. With a 10.1 inch screen you shouldnt have much issue with writing out the Greek letters.

Howdy.
I'm pretty sure the answer is no but is their any way to force the note 4 to display the screen in side by side? not looking for 3D, just want the display in side by side view. I would like to use it with a head set (Gear VR, Google Cardboard, etc) and play all my games and apps. any help would be appreciated.
Any ideas?

No, I think he means that to use simple apps which don't support vr, to be used with vr. Is there a way to force the phone to display side by side no matter what the app your running so that is can be used with VR headset such as Google Cardboard?

Do a search for "apk" and the name of the item you're looking for. I've seen both.
I have but neither one will open?
