Never had the Samsung Apps app on my galaxy tab :(

I don't have the "samsung Apps" app. I am rooted I even did a factory refresh. Can I downloaded it? Could not find on Samsung site. Thanks.

Unless there's some hidden features that I don't know about, I would say the Samsung App" app is pretty useless. It shows some pretty lame looking apps that you can easily find on Android market. Don't worry, you're not missing anything.

A bit weird though. A couple of days ago they let me download smart office 2. Which I did. Now they only offer smart office 1 and Polaris.
It pays off to watch all Samsung offers closely and regularly. They sometimes make games and apps available for a couple of hours. Most is crap but some are gems.

Its a category in samsung apps application. You can also find it as an application on stock roms

I'm not satisfied with po4 because it can't edit files on my gdrive. It open in read only. Other suite can edit this. Doc files.
Do you noticed it?

No I don't have a default app for. Doc. I choose time to time.
Try this: upload a .Doc file on your gdrive and then try to open it directly in gdrive app: if you do that with polaris (not viewer) it say "read only" and you can't edit files. With office suite pro in can do that!
Can you verify this behavior of your phone with polaris 4.0?

Why not download it and give it a try, it is free after all. It seems pretty comprehensive to me, but like all apps of this type on a phone, it's only really useful for small edits (unless you have your phone linked to an HD display and are using a bluetooth keyboard and mouse).
Still waiting for my MHL cable, so will give it a try then with the set up mentioned above and report back here (if I can remember...lol)

I have the LFB firmware (original dl, not my ROM), but cant see the apk file in there. Do you know where/how I can extract it?

I just found out that whatsapp is possible as a floating app. Wondering if there are more apps that can be used floating !

I didn't even know you could install Whatsapp on a tablet. I thought you needed a phone number for that?

The phone number doesn't have to be on the device as long as you confirm it.

the stock video player and bs player both float.

If not launcher, what theme and icon set? That is a very sweet looking screen shot that some ipad owners I know would cringe to see on my Note!

Install whatsapp From their site. Use a different phone number then the one on your mobile phone ( don't have to be a mobile number )then confirm it with a Sms or if you don't use a mobile number they will call you for the confirmation code .Confirm it and your good to go!!!

Every time I click any download link from their site it pops me straight to the Play Store and incompatible for my device. Are you rooted by chance?

[Q] Evernote update

I've got question for note 3 owners who use evernote and s-note.
I've read that note 3 has some really great features as far as s-note and evernote integration goes such as s-note note preview in evernote or s-pen hover preview of the note in evernote.
I would like to know whether these features keep working after the update of the evernote app. It would be shame if it stopped working, as it happened with youtube and scrapbooker integration.

You can set S-Finder so it also searches Evernote. I just checked. I also did a search and S-Finder also pulled up results from Evernote. So for your question: Yes S-Finder finds notes you created on the phone as well as the Evernote database.

Thats the easiest answer we could get?
I too i'm interested in some kind of optical reader/app, it doesn't need to be the samsung made one, but if it works, thats good for me.
Unless its some kind of hardware limitation, from the camera, huge amounts of ram or cpu power, theres no problem trying it.
The first step its taking the app onte the note... Someone tried it already?

Was any one able to find some alternate to the photo note app in note 4

I got it with Hyperdrive custom rom
