I propose two amelioration :
It s will good if we can setup the intensity and duration of vibrations ( on lg g watch r its a little short I think)
Almost on Lg watch R brightness on screen where he is on always on mode is to exessive, its will good if we can setup the brightness in two mode (screen actived and screen locked)
Maybe there is an app for that?

a Have 2 problems,
Sometimes after switch on the display, brightness has set to maximum, after a while display sets brightness to normal..
Everyday display automaticly turns on at 00:00 ( i had same problem in my old D1 )

Has anyone else noticed visible lag (~2-4s) say:
- after you unlock the screen (assuming the phone was not used for 5-10 minutes)
- and the screen comes up with low brightness
- till the screen returns to brightness (say when it is set to auto).
The lag is between the 2nd and 3rd step
Or another lag of (~1-1.5s), when you touch the screen, when it is been:
- a dim screen (when one has stopped using it for sometime, but not off yet and the brightness goes down),
and then you touch... till it attains:
- the normal brightness that the screen is supposed to be (say when set of auto).
I have noticed both behaviors like 8-10 times during last one day.
The native auto brightness algorithm and control really sucks. I use Velis auto brightness app from the market. Way much better.

So I noticed that when the LG G Watch R goes into ambient mode the brightness increases.
Seems as if the brightness for ambient is independent of when the watch is "on".
I have tested it by using Wearfaces and created custom faces with the same setup for "on" and ambient and it is quite noticeable.
Is there a way to adjust the ambient brightness?
I have saw some threads talking about decreasing the brightness of the images for the dial, date, hands, etc. but I don't find this a good fix. Any suggestions?

I have same problem. Its strange that brightness in normal mode can be changed and in ambient not.... during night its pretty distracting :/

hello, actually there are 2 parts:
1. how can I use 2 timers for screen dim and screen off
2. how to have an "ambient" lock screen.
As for the second my idea is as follows:
When screen is off, turn it on using the smart cover settings (without the smart cover)
using very dim settings like ambient clock, or flashes like pulse notifications.
Anyone that can make it work, or tell me how to do it?

i recently bought a used s7 edge. the cellphone's display is damaged buf overall it works fine. except for a few issues mainly related to light sensor according to my understanding.
1: the display flickers when auto brightness turned off or when brightness is set to anything less than maximum
workaround: i installed screen filter app to control the brightness
2: the screen goes to green screen of death when device is put to sleep
workaround : turn AOD to always on and never Turn it off
3: the display goes to green death screen during call and wont get normal unless call is ended and screen is locked and turned on..
4 : at AOD ,the screen flickers at night time or in a dark place but gets back normal in bright light..
info i need : i thought what if it was possible to change the android framework values for the light sensor so that no matter whatever the light of the surrounding may be.. the device will always think it's in bright light.
for example if the settings for current values are
high 5000 medium 2000 low 600
then i change it to
high 1000 medium 500 low 25
so that the device will always think its in full bright area..
can anyone help me in achieving this goal? thanks
