Note n9005 imei 0/01

Hi
I updated my Note 3 (N9005) with firmware from SamMobile. Now everything besides calling works, and I have IMEI 0/01.
I don't have EFS back up, is there any way to repair this

You posted in the wrong forum.
Without a EFS backup you are officially screwed. Contact Samsung support center seems the only solution (unless anyone is stupid enough to give you a backup of their EFS partion containing their IMEI code)

Would anyone be kind enough to share their Note 3/N9005 EFS backup so that I can try and get my handset working again
I do not have access to a local service centre in my part of the world, and the only option would be to send away which will probably take weeks where I am as I have to send it to another country.

Do you have .nvbak file in your Efs folder.?
Have you tried emergency firmware recovery in Samsung Kies?

Hi guys i have searched high and low, My N9005's serial number changed after flashing a rom and when i restore a backup up of my EFS it doesnt correct the problem. Is there any way of reinserting the serial number back into my phone in order to get it to start working again?

Have you downgraded recently?
Older modems cannot read the efs folder after you have upgraded th re n downgraded because the format has changed.

Yeah I downgraded but when I read a few threads on here I upgraded to the newest firmware for my handset using odin. Strange things are happening everything else works but it keeps saying emergency calls yet it connected to my carrier to get apn settings and immediately went straight back to emergency calls, plus my serial number in settings are different. I'm totally baffled by it

just updated to mj7 and still the same. dont know whats going on with it :crying:

Having the same problem IMEI unknown, and s/n changed.
After I've tried to flashed rom from other countries, but stupid put in BL instead of AP of ODIN, I could not get into normal screen. I stuck at Odin mode.
Then I followed "firasusman"'s thread which help me wake my phone up again. But now I'm on 4.4.2. Since my phone woke up, I cannot make or receive phone call, no data connection. Only WIFI works.
My
IMEI = unknown
S/N has been changed to other number.
Baseband shown.
Need some help.

My IMEI cert. = fail.

Same here and there is no solution to fixing this yet. I took mines to a phone shop who said they could repair it for £25 so I might give that a try

1. FLASH '4.4.2 Firmware' USING "ODIN" (use this file>> KSA-N9005XXUENC2-20140416-4.4.2 )
2. DO FACTORY RESET THROUGH RECOVERY MENU
3. FLASH 'modem.bin File' USING "ODIN" (use this file >> N9005XXUGBNL8 5.0 and extract the 'CP file' TO FIND modem.bin )
4. ROOT WITH 'autorootFile' USING "ODIN" (use this file>> CF-Auto-Root-hlte-hltexx-smn9005.zip)
5. WIPE 'efs/nvm' USING "Z3X SOFTWARE"

6. WRITE .cert file USING "NSPRO SOFTWARE"
7. WRITE .qcn file USING "Z3X software"
(search for>> .cert AND .qcn files)
I HAD TO TRY MULTIPLE .qcn AND .cert FILES.
NOTE: MAKE SURE THE SIM CARD IS REMOVED EACH TIME YOU TRY TO WRITE .cert OR .qcn FILES and WIPE 'efs/nvm' BEFORE EACH TRY TO WRITE A .cert
3G AND EDGE WORK FINE. I STILL DON'T HAVE 4G BUT AM GONNA FIX THAT LATER NOW AM TAKING A REST

I am an i9500 (galaxy s4) user of India..I am facing a problem,yesterday I downgraded my ph to kitkat,after that it shows imei no null..somehow I manged to place another imei for that device but now when I am going to call someone it says “NOT REGISTERED ON NETWORK”..I tried many of processes but I've failed..I faced the same problem before,it charged rs 1000 for replace with another imei from a local repair shop..can anyone pls help me out?..it costs too much to repair every time with inr. 1000 rs..thanks in advance..

is it solved? I think no is here for help..

You need to backup efs before doing this type of activity, however you can try chimera tool or z3x box to repair your imei on this exynos version.

Hey bro i solved my problem with following steps.. Only for Indian Sims
Download this modem.img file open this link https://drive.google.com/file/d/0Bw7bcNmMUfuhY0RGb2p3ZW9vbFU/view?usp=sharing
1.Use Odin
2.Untick Autoreboot
3.Click on CP select the provided file
4.Click On start
5.Flash modem
Once done,unplug then reboot device manually.

Restore your backed up EFS folder .

Download the stock firmware from Sammobile and use Odin to flash it. Make sure you turn phone OFF before starting in Download mode.
Note there are other ways but you will need to search and read. This one is the basic method...

n910f emergency call and no service

hello .
i have a sm-n910f and it,s in emergency call only and no service mode , i tried with many cert files and qcn but same,.
just one time in one cert file it registerd to network but not work call and mobile data etc ,?

Does the baseband and IMEI show in About Phone section ? If no there is the problem.

I think if you teoretically RESET NV DATA will restore default settings and will work (i used Z3X box). But how about device history ? How did you get it and how this happened... maybe i can help you.

brother , we buy this from customer , after a few day it,ll showing ermergency call after two days , so i,ll try to write cert file but after that ,it,ll be emergency and no service forever , after that i use many tricks for that i flashed , with 5.1.1 and wipe with 9090 trick after that again write cert but same i,ll again write 4.4.4 and and write cert but nothing happend , problem still remaing ,.

You reflashec with 4 files plus pit and repartition ticked ?

I think you must find a verified working cert and flash that, and if you have z3x please use it. And i think that the imei of your flashed cert files are blacklisted in your country, this is the logical explanation...
Also, try to read QCN from another SM-N910F phone, which works correctly in your region and write it into your device.

thanks brother for your reply, but i tried every thing many cert and read OK qcn but problem still remain,..

N910H imei changed

Hi , anyone can help me ?
First i've flashed my Note to air rom but after flashing my baseband gone unknown and imei lost
Second , then i tried to flash stockrom , but the problem still there , i tried to flash modem.bin file, but didnt change anything
Then i searched about restoring imei and find method using z3x cracked with loader
Third , i did step by step using z3x software then my baseband came back but my imei had changed to new one
Now i cant connect to the network its say " Not registered on network " i've using many method but my original imei doesnt back just show the imei i've got from z3x software
Please anyone can tell me , is there a hope to bring back my Original Imei again ?
