I'm having the same issue. Did you have any luck?

NO luck

Same here..
Not even able to root my phone.

note 4 secure download
I think it has to do with the bootloader.... if anyone can get an engineer bootloader im willing to test it. Plus after flashing the new ESN my serial number is gone too...

I have same text at download mode. I have SM-N910F.

Was that the only file available? Usually there's 4-5 .tar files zipped. There's no CSC file.

M250-L it's not I9100
There's even the M250-K and M
They have NFC on board and your phone has it?
They are different hardware variants. Like Vibrant and Captivate and i9000
BTW if you want flash it use the single tar as PDA as it was on all stock firmware released till now

It's not complete when it's missing files. It contains Sbl.bin, factoryfs.img, modem.bin and zImage. Just checking file size does not prove a thing. Open the file and view it. Missing files (assuming Korean firmwares ship with the same files) are boot.bin, cache.img, hidden.img and param.lfs.
Now if someone with a Korean phone can just tell me the version number (see first page), anyone can probably download the complete firmware from Samsung's servers with checkfusdownloader.

Can anyone confirm this?
My friend just came back to the States from Korea, and he brought along the SGS 2 Korean variant "K" (of KT).
I am using the international GT-i9100 on AT&T, so I was wondering if he could also use his korean variant on the network.
I put my sim card on his phone and here's what i found:
it recognized AT&T, and going to settings, I could see that it was my number.
I could make calls, but could not receive.
When i try making calls, it gives me two options, says something like 1.ROAM or 2. use "someting" else (local?) forgive me I don't recall on top of my head as this event took place a week ago.. But as i looked through this thread i saw the exact same picture describing the same problem... also cannot recall which post/page.
Anyways, is there any way to make this korean variant work?
he bought it a month ago in Korea, and before coming to the States he called the KT to have it country unlocked but they told him that the phone is already unlocked so it can be used outside.
I also noticed that the data symbol is only on G. which I believe is 2g. so it's not able to utilize 3g/H+.
Can he use AT&T without problems? thanks guys!

What precise model is your Note 3? Are you 100% it is not a fake? Does the phone have "download mode"? Can you still enter "download mode"? What does it say there? Have you tried to write the latest stock ROM for your precise model? (and by model I understand platform and type, for instance on N9005 there are slightly different stock images for the 32GB EU models and the 16GB Asia models).

What i've heard if you lost your efs, many things on the phone will note work and eventually you will encounter FC messages. The only way was to restore the EFS. But you can find any other alternative like Flashing the 4 part firmware and see how it goes. If it doesnt fix your phone, keep finding.

What model do I have?

Hello everyone,
When I bout my phone, I know for a fact that my model number was I9000. I noticed that now, after flashing a rom , it is written in my settings the my model number is I9500. so , is my phone considered i9500 and I should now flash roms that fit for I9500?
And one more question - I downloaded GT-I9500-CWM-6.0.4.7.rar file from one comment from this forum. is it save to flash and should I do factory reset and cache wipe before flashing it?

Your phone doesn't change hardware after flashing a rom. The only way you know what phone you have is by looking what's written in download mode. The rest can be altered.
Was I9000 not the S1?
Boot into download mode (vol down + power button) and see what it says that your model is.
Thanks guys, in download mode it says It's 9500 so I gusse it's 9500 now. I know it doesn't make sense but I'm sure it was I9000 before.

No that's impossible. If download mode says it's an i9500 then it always has been a i9500.

I9000 is the original Samsung Galaxy S.
Unless you bought a Galaxy S, then there no way it was I9000.
Besides, you could make the phone model show even as an iPhone. The phone model display can be edited easily with root. Download mode is the only one that will tell you the true model.

Did anyone try this on N920P (sprint-cdma) version? I tried only CSC folder(not the other 2 files) from Ketan rom, it didn't. Should've tried with 2 files n a folder.

+1 to the above!!!!
VoLTE on N7 ROM not working either (just confirming again). Is there no fix? Since it only looks like a Software glitch but a supportive hardware.
Thoughts?
I tried it on Note 7 port.. as the OP said, it did not work.. tried on Aurora roms (lamlazy etc) for N920P.. I got VOLTE symbol on top, but had trouble calling. (out of 10 tries, 1 call went through.) So something is still missing on Sprint version of Note 5.
Going to try on MOAR rom now. (update.. did not work on MOAR)
Tried with India sim JIO 4g...
For Note 7 ports.. i guess we need to extract the same files from a Note 7.
Dose it work on samsung galaxy note 5 n920c model

It should work fine for your variant. Yes you need root to copy files onto system.
@Abrar123 ever since i tried it on my N920P, Jio seems to have registered it as VoLTE capable. I do see volte symbol with this modification but can't make or receive calls. May be we need some more files like libs and etc folder files? am not sure how to solve this.
Worst thing is even "jio4gvoice" app says calling disabled as native dialer supports calling.
After factory resets/fresh ROM flashing, i don't see VoLTE symbol but even "Jio app" works for only for SMS/chat not voice. (says calling disabled) How to solve this???
Check pm please @nimms
Flahsed latest n9208 firmware from sammobile..bit syill volte does not show...shall i try this method...wil it work...kindly help
Edit; tried this method and it works..thank i very much..cheers..

Is my Note 4 SM-n910v or n910f

Hello. I recently bought the Note 4 device from a phone store. I made all necessary checks and discovered it's a real Note 4, however, on getting home I decided to do further checks and downloaded the Samsung info app.
Then I noticed some inconsistencies. Whilst in about phone, it is written that the phone is the n910f model, the Samsung info app states that it is n910v and even the refurbishment check says it is a refurbished phone.
I want to upgrade this phone to marshmallow and possibly install custom rooms, I am however confused on whether to download the n910f marshmallow room or n910v. Please help

Yes there are dozens of roms available but you have to unlock bootloader+Twrp recovery+root to have in order to flash any roms.
If you have patience and knowledge in samsung phones you can do it otherwise i suggest use the way you bought or just flash stock N910V marshmallow firmware via odin
You can download stock from www.sammobiles.com/firmwares.
Or if you succeed to unlocking bootloader you can go for custom roms
