How bad is the camera? - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I dropped my phone a month back. The glass broke and needed replacement. Since it initially fell it had this blur and a white hue. I figured it just needed the glass replaced. I was wrong.
I replaced the glass and the problem persisted. After zooming in and out some, this happened.
Can anyone shed some light on how hard, expensive or possible this is to fix?
Thanks,

Antireflex camera lens coating went to hell

I took my Xperia to Malaysia for vacation and when I returned, front camera glass coating is somehow broken. If you look close, its like covered with web of microscopic cracks. Something very similar happened to my glasses once, some problem with antireflex coating. Anyone got similar situation?

I have the exact same problem. I don't know the situation surrounding how it came to be or under what circumstances it can be re-produced. I just noticed one day that all pictures taken came out fuzzy and the images seem like they've gone through the "posterize" filter in photoshop. The phone is awesome, but there are just so many issues with the hardware. I definitely feel I over-paid for what I got. If everything worked the way it should, then it would certainly be worth the premium, but this simply was not the case.
i read this problem a while back and quickly slapped a cut up screen guard on the camera. It helps a lot,the coating is still good

Same here - took a microfiber cloth (same used for glasses), sprayed some camera lens fluid and rubbed for a good 2-3 minutes.
And did it help? Or is my phone ready for RMA?

Shattered camera! - Anyone else?

I've seen plenty of posts about cracking the screen from dropping but nothing like this...so far..?
The other day I had my phone in the side pocket of my car door. When I opened it somehow the phone slipped out and fell hardly 30cm on to the ground...landing on its screen. I couldn't believe it when everything was fine other than the glass covering the camera lens had shattered...
I'm guessing this is an insurance claim unless it can be seen as a defect
Has anyone else managed to do this or was it just very very unlucky...maybe the glass can just be removed completely?

debris under screen

So last year my screen cracked and I got it replaced. I've noticed over the last couple months getting debris a little at a time in between the glass and digitizer. Obviously the seal they did was crap. Has anyone else had this problem and Ben able to separate the screens and clean them? Thanks!

Rear Camera Defect?

Hello. I've had my AT&T S7 Edge black onyx for almost 30 days. It's been protected in a spigen case and screen protector since day one.
This morning I noticed the strangest, most annoying issue. When I turned on the rear facing camera, I noticed a black speck on the lower right corner of the screen. At first I thought it was dirt on my screen but that wasn't it. Then I thought there was dirt on the camera, but that wasn't it either. I'm surprised since there is no physical damage to the phone. It looks immaculate so I don't know how this happened. My old S5 took constant beatings but never had issues with the camera.
I've attached two pics. The one pic is cropped and zoomed-in.
I'm going to had to AT&T store and hope I get a replacement. Anyone had a similar issue?
