Hi all, next week I will receive a ZGPAX s6, and though I am not new to flash rom every Android device that falls into my hands, concerning the smartwatch I ignore so many things and ask for help.
8os Android 4.04, 4.2, 4.4)
Flash tool: flashtool v4 ?, Odin3xx ?.
Rooting: towelroot ?, android_root ?, framaroot 1.93 ?.
Custom Recovery: I use on all devices that use the CWM though by no I was forced to use the TWRP, which is easier to flash and how to do it once rooted S6 ?.
MTKDroidTools ???
Another question is:
If the ZGPAX S5 and S6 are practically the same (with the exception of 3G) for an emergency serves the stock rom from S5 to S6.
And last and not least importatnte: There are some forum / thread dende you comment on custom rom for these small wonders ?.
Thank you very much to all and excuse my English from google.
Stock ROM Mlais MX50 ( ZGPAX s6)
Hi all, As you see there is very little information about the smartwatch for Chinese and many famous brand although the Chinese are selling hundreds of thousands of parts.
Since I do not like to stand idly by, all this time I've been surfing the web looking for that, what I'm looking and I find that the ZGPAX s5 is equal to Mlais SmartWatch MX10 and IKWEAR Ik8 the ZGPAX S6 is the same as the well Mlais SMARTWATCH MX50 and several others.
As I'm looking for is a STOCK rom for my S6've searched http://www.needrom.com/download/mlais-smartwatch-mx50/ is official, not root but that sure I solve detail in a minutes with all APP for it spin one MT6577.
So is that for which you need can be found there, just as there is also a backup of IKWEAR Ik8, that is, the ZGPAX S5.
Regards

I'm from Uruguay, but writing in english so any casual reader may understand what we're talking about ha. Did u find any workaround for making fbook messenger working?

I haven't paid much attention to my SIII mini since i bought my LG G Pad but just noticed a new SIII mini model with 4.2.2 already available for download.
Tried to find info about this new SIII mini but couldn't find much and i have to go to bed
Well, new SIII mini (SIII mini value edition) with 4.2.2.
I wonder if we could use this firmware?
The firmware is available on samsung-updates.
EDIT: found this

Hello, comrades!
I'm newbie in writing threads, so no rage please, just nice explanation why am I wrong. Thank you
Recently I've changed my phone to Sony Z3 Compact, which I bought on eBay and I didn't realise that my phone model was SO-02G, which means that there is different firmware and firmware developer for it. Since I used Android 5.0 for about a month on my Sony Z1, I knew that I need 5.0 on my new phone as well, but there is no such a firmware yet for my phone. Quick google search and google translate helped me in obtaining 5.0 for SO-02G. I hope my thread wil help someone and if there are any japanese speakers, that are ready to contribute to my adoptation of Google Translated text - fell free to correct me. Arigato :fingers-crossed:

Be ready to lose NFC support after this.
In order to obtain Android 5.0 and above for your SO-02G you should have:
Flashtool with all drivers ready to go
Sony Docomo Z3c itself
Sony D5803 (Z3 Compact) Nordic Customized Android Firmware that you want (5.0 and above)
USB cable (Yes, I should mention this )
15-20 minutes of your time
The guide itself:
First of all, you need to do backup of your data, because otherwise you will get an error or non-working phone. Do you want so? I doubt it.
Then you should proceed with usual flashing steps, beggining with launching Flashtool, connecting your smartphone and clicking flash button.
Select Flashmode

}
Then flash it.
After a little while your phone will start with new Android Lollipop, but after about a minute of "upgrading NFC firware" it will return an error saying that NFC is no longer avaliable and if you need to get NFC support back - you should flash Docomo firmware back and everything is going to be allright.
All firwares are avaliable at xda forum.
This topic brought to you by Neckronus adapted translation of 8wired.jp guide and if you can help to translate some more details, please do, I will greatly appreciate it.
**UPDATE 12.11.2016:
YOU MIGHT GET NFC SUPPORT AFTER FLASHING ANDROID 5 YET THE CHANCE IS TOTALLY RANDOM AND THERE IS NO EXPLANATION ON HOW IT WORKS
Hi nice guide friend
I have the same issue with my z3 it's a sol26 Japanese version with 32g of storage I also flashed a global version rom but that turned my storage to an only 16g then I downloaded the sol26 original rom still didn't flash it but its locked carrier and I am afraid of being locked
Any ideas bro?
Thanks
Just exclude "PARTITION"...
In case you flashed mistakenly, flash original device's FTF with including it.
@AndroPlus
Thank you for your reply...just one thing I wanted to ask the phone is unlocked for any operator yet I only found a carrier rom so if I flashed it would it lock the phone?

Hi, I bought a used Lenovo Zuk Z1, all previous user data were wiped out and it's the first time I buy an used phone so I didn't think to do a fresh os install as the first thing to do.
Point is, it looks I got a trojan here:
Facts:
1)I recieved a pishing sms, never happened on this number.
2)I then scanned the phone with an antivirus, to do a quick check and I found this:

I anyway want to install a clean version of the os, and it will be a pain because it's my first time, but my question is:
Does anyone know this app? Is it a known trojan, a scarcely known trojan or what? I did some research and didn't find any previous experience, just a link to a strange market who had the app.

Its a lenovo app, what it does? No one knows. You can root your phone with kingroot and delete the apk
If you root with Kingroot you get other crap, better to install TWRP and install a CyanogenMod rom it has a root option in it and that app is also GONE
I have seen the list of supported devices on TWRP's website, and the lenovo zuk z1 isn't there, so I think I will have to choose an alternative way, or am I wrong?.
I have seen the rooting guide on cyanogen's wiki, that's a start I suppose.

I am on TWRP and ressurection Remix 6.0 MM rom,so it's possible, just follow the guides on XDA
G'day,
Let me start by saying that, I'm a noob and mind blown by the number of different roms and mods you can do. I am trying to find the best suitable rom for my mother android device, I have looked into the lineageOS and the resurrection remix and they look great! I have tried to look at more however too much information for me to absorb. I have read about the issues regarding the battery consumption issues( not too worried). What I am wondering If I want to go for the resurrection remix 5.8.5 which runs on Android 7.1.2(reason its stable release, as I've read), what version of Gapps would I require? the latest or an older version? I am seeking some guidance on flashing the roms and what could be the best approach for me. I'll also attach some images from CPU-Z on the phones hardware and model numbers if it helps.
before I finish, I would like to thank everyone for their contributions and for helping me out

Hey, first off im pretty sure resurrection remix is for G900F (klte) model which is different from what you have G901F (kccat6) model.... therefore you should exclusively look for a cusom rom for G901F otherwise you would end up with a bricked phone and an empty pocket since you'll have to buy your mom a nee phone ?

Thanks for the reply, I've been looking at the lineageos which seems to fit my requirements, the loader would be twrp and make a backup of the device before doing anything?

Yup, always do backup first in case it doesnt boot or anything, also what i do is always have an official FW in your computer so you have an option to flash official FW in case something goes wrong with the backup. GL ?

Need some help. Was working on a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5 and dropped it for a while due to other things coming up in my life (went to hospital for COVID). Anyway, I was working on rooting this Verizon Samsung S5 and when I powered it up, it looks like this.
Anyone know what I'm looking at and how I need to move forward? Should I just start all over? I see the instructions in the forum for that. Should I just start over? Thanks in advance.
I rooted the S5 by buying the Tmobile version as it's way superior and it's close to the G900F.

If you have a CID11 S5 (which you can check by downloading EMMC BrickBug Check on the google play store (or apk)), you are screwed as there is no bootloader unlock for that version of S5. I know as I have this exact model.
