Hi , recently it is taking forever for my phone to wake up when i press home or lock button. It take 4-5 seconds for my screen to turn on.
I've wiped all the settings , but this did not help. Can someone advise please?
Make an adb logcat and dump here.
Remove sd card and try again if you using one

Hi all,
since 2 days ago I have this problem. The screen switch off itsel, and sometimes the power buton just doesn't work.
Also, sometimes, pops up the window saying if I want to swich it off, like when we press the power buton for a few seconds...but without doing it!!
I really don't know what to do, is very anoying. I thought might be because the other day I went for a walk, and was raining, so could get wet(?) ..don't know if that could be the problem, but anyway, that was friday, and today Sunday still happen the same.
Any ideas? Might get the buton blocked? If so...how do I unblock it?
I check the screws, and don't know what tool would be good if i need.. might be an special one ?
Thanks in advance.

Screen switches off
I have a Tytn (Hermes) the phone comes on sometimes and works , then on occasions it would be on , but the screen is off . The backlight stays on but nothing on screen. Push the power button and sometimes it will come back on , other times i have to remove the batt and wait a couple of hours before the screen comes back on . When it is like this then even if you reboot , it goes past the htc logo and just before windows loads the screen goes off .I have re installed the shipped roms again as at first i thought it was a software problem . I can see my phone on active sync and i can also load software to and from the phone , even with the phone screen off . any suggestions would be appreciated . Thanks

dear all ..
Xperia X2 I will not go past the Align Screen when you do a hard reset.
This all started when I tried to opening a screen lock but will not work.
Next thing I did was a soft reset - same problem occurs, the screen is always automatically locked.
I then do a hard reset and press on the welcome screen which then presents the align screen, and I was still able to follow commands align screen but always come back to the place originally started
HELP! Please. Any suggestions?

Instead of tapping on the crosses, press and hold on it until it moves. This should repeat for a few cycles.
go to notepad and create a file called welcome.not and save it to the removable memory card. Put the removable memory card back to your phone.
the phone will start without screen align.
solve se xperia x2 issue of force align calibration
thanks man you help a lot , do you know custom rom to make this device fast?
Hi guys,
I have a problem with my HD Mini. I searched for it, but I didn´t find help. If the same problem is solved in another thread, please post the link.
When my device is in slepp mode (screen black) and I want to wake up (press on/off button) nothing happens. The only way to use the device is to remove the battery and turn it on again.
Sometimes I can wake up the device normaly (press on/off button -> slide bar down -> everything is normal), but only in 2 of 10 cases.
The device is running in sleepmode normaly, I can recieve messages, it vibrates and the green light flashs.
I tryed to fix it by an hard reset, but that didnt help.
I hope anyone knows how to fix it.

Same here, a hard reset didn't help, I mean problem comes out also with a clean installation. You can only remove battery or wait for someone to call/sms you..
Thanks... I have searched it, but it seems like there is no real solution to this problem.
but i´ve read somewhere, that if you put yout device to sleep when its in shortcut-homescreen (9 shortcuts), there is no SOD. It seems to work.
if anyone got an better solution...
try to flash ur rom, it looks like the device bricks.

OK, thanks for all your help.
Since wednesday evening my HD mini is ok. I can´t say how I solved the problems, I made a few hardresets and suddenly it works fine. Now I test some things step by step to look whether I can find the reason. At the moment I guess it´s something with the sd card...
If I will find something I will tell you, perhaps its helpfull.
ok, here some news.
since my last post my device worked well. today I tried to put in my sd-card and I formated it with the HD-mini internal formating tool.
after 5minutes i got the good old SOD, now I turned the card out again restartet the device and everything is all right again.
So here's what happened: I tried to turn my screen off and I kept pressing the button on the right of the S4 and it didn't work. So then I took the battery out and after that the phone won't turn on. I went and got a new one but unfortunately not all of my pictures were saved on the SD card. I had over 5000 pictures on the phone and now more than half of them are gone. Is there any way possible that I can get the pictures off of the S4 without it being turned on? I really need to get these pictures. Any help would be wonderful!

Can you try the following for me:
- Pull your battery out of your phone an put back in..
- Keep pressing simultaniously "VOLUME DOWN" + "HOME BUTTON" + "POWER BUTTON" and hold it for +/- 3 seconds..
- If it turns on, please reply me.. If not, then your phone is probably dead (and your photos gone)
Hi guys,
this is my first time posting here and is my last resort in trying to fix this issue.
Recently i noticed my phone no longer turned off it's screen when i press the power button.
The button itself is not broken, as long pressing it brings up the power menu just fine, and i have tried using apps to turn off the screen, but they open, the screen flashes black, then phone just returns to the home screen, as if nothing happened.
here's what i've tried to fix the issue:
checking wakelocks to see if any app was preventing sleep ( there were none i could see)
reinstalling/removing recent software to see if that was the cause
(hard) factory resetting
after these attempts, i am none the wiser, and the screen will still not turn off, so i come to you guys for help.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Sir,
Please wait until mods will move this thread to the device specific forum for more relevant answers.
